Trove is still sheet, Still not updated and still treats 1 Sanctum core as a Two star "Crit".

We have not had any use for Cores in so long at this point.

Why not just update the loot in the trove.. Why keep having the same useless crap.

 

I miss the old troves, Back in TT days when you could get 20+ of the raid weap material within 300 keys.

 

Nowdays.. it's just bad and it has been bad for the past 6 or so troves, It's maddening how much they've ruined this thing.

I like some of the outfits so I was gona buy 100 keys to try my luck, after seeing what's consider 2 star crits, i decided not to. This trove is at least 2 years outdated. Why are ET ss a 2 star crit that take 100-300g to buy?? They haven't been worth that much for at least 2 -3 years. Draken Cores haven't been used for anything useful in 3 years, why can I get them in trove?
Each key is about $1? Actually insulting to the player base, and goes to show how little they know about where their player base is at gear wise.
Literally looks like they don't even play their own game. Anyway that has spend more than 3 hours on bns in the last 6 months know how ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ everything in trove is.

So it's going to be a first for me on Blade & Soul (and probably for you too), but we'd like to hear your thoughts about the Treasure Trove!

 

We're monitoring feedback on all topics on the forums and social media. Now, we want to hear from you about four topics regarding the Treasure Trove:

  • What items would you like to see removed and added? If you can be specific about quantities, it'll help.
  • In general, what reduces the appeal of the Treasure Trove to you, and what would improve it?

 

Please be as specific as you can be but also concise. I know it's sometimes hard to summarize your thoughts, so avoid long explanations or short lines that are difficult to understand. (by the way, I noticed that a few of you are not native English speakers, so I appreciate your efforts!) Also let's focus on Treasure Trove and not discuss other aspects of the game, please! I will close this call for feedback by April 1st, in 2 weeks.

Bad:
3 star crits are underwhelming at times, mainly the ones with cosmetics or weapon skins, when you get the same items from 2 star ones
Too many outdated items such as old accessory chests from old dungeons (realistically people only want mythical ones now)
And by extension, legendary jewels are largely redundant. Elements are still useful.
Nocturnal, Shimmering scales and Serpent's Den Soul Shields are overpriced for the current game's economy

Any gems below square/triangular, would take too many to make it useful for most players - should be updated with newer max tier gems
Pvp upgrade materials rather redundant due to lack of players doing 6s now

Good:
Updated gems/tiers to reflect current max tier gems
Different/new cosmetics
Blessed material chests

 

Add these (in line with current gear/content):

Mythical accessory chests

Shadow fury weapon material chest
Anima/fury for players to work on amulets
More sterling scales, need a lot more with heart upgrade changes
Pet gems (Triangular and above)
Crystals/crystal pouches/synthesis stones for mythical upgrades
Bigger quantities of exp charms, ethereal vials, fusion stones and noc/shimmering scales. Current max is HM40 and we're still seeing 3x 10k exp charms as rolls.

Chaos tokens
Insignias
Ability to make all weapon skin chests tradeable or bound to account

Consider:
Guaranteed 3 star crits after x number of keys. It's rather unrewarding to never get one even if one uses a lot of keys.
Increase limit of HMC keys a day or create bundle priced option of 20 keys. 

I've been troving since the first trove, many keys at times. By many I mean in thousands. It can be an underwhelming experience, usually pacified by guaranteed rewards by milestones.

First and foremost, thank you Green Storm for putting in the effort of actually asking about this topic.
Let me start by saying this: most 2-star rewards are by far the worst appeal of Trove, since some of those are completely outdated.
Items to remove from Trove:
Liberty Tokens (Outdated)

Warrior's Core Selection Chest (Highly outdated)
Amara/ Numok/ Jurupo/ Volberus Psyches (Outdated - Do not belong in 2-star)
Heptagonal/ Hexagonal Obsidian Garnet Selection Chest
Master Material Chest
Prime/ Superior Reputation Charm

Lunar Twilight Flower (Does not belong in 2-star, regardless of amount)
 

Suggestions:

Bonus Rewards could use some upgrade and/or rework. Ex: Scarlet Conservatory Mystic Badge at 150 Keys, like what?

This Trove we got 3 new outfits plus the additional one at 100 Bonus Reward. This is nice, but personally I'd like to see some older outfits make an appearance at 1 and 2-star rewards. Like 2-3 new outfits, and 1-2 returning would improve the appeal of trove for me.

Some Insignias would be nice, since it's relevant content.

Price rework: some items are way overpriced, given our region's gold income.

Anima for the various Amulet would be a nice touch.

Just adding to the lists from the previous replies:

Bad:
Sealed Grand Celestial Steel - Remove, or severely drop the gold cost (24g to like, 50 Silver), or replace with large stack of GC Steel.

Warrior's Scale/Fragment Selection Chest - Outdated & too small an amount from the chests.

Dokkaebi Soju - Really old, replace with something better.

10,000 & 100,000 Exp Charms - Remove, add 5 million Charm and 10 million Exp Charms.
Sealed Scarlet Conservatory Weapon Materials (Frond, Oculus, Stalk) - Outdated.  Remove / replace with More common Steelbreaker weapon materials.  The story + a week of daily challenge can just about get a player to Thornbreaker 6.
Steelbreaker & Thornbreaker Soul Shield Chests - Make much more common and way less gold.  2+ tiers behind at this point.
Greater Naryu Sanctum Bracelet Chest / House of Idols / Thornwind Accessory Chests - Outdated, should be more common and cheaper.

Suggestions:
Higher quantities of the items in a 1-star roll earlier on e.g. 10 Imperial Soju instead of 1, 5 Resurrection Charms instead of 1, etc.
Bring in more past cosmetics/skins (maybe do polls to see what players want to see come back).

A few I haven't seen mentioned:
Scarlet conservatory soulshields - extremely outdated and overpriced
Agitator upgradable accessories - those were removed from in game, why are they in trove? 
Sun ascension accessories - You get better ones from doing the main quest, those should not be in trove at all either
Scarlet conservatory weapon material  - made useless by main quest reward  and dragon express
Yeoharan accessories exchange ticket - outdated

  • Remove / reduce following:
    • Bound mats (soulstone crystals etc), the quantity of these is too high, considering you don't need these anymore for latest accessories.
    • Old & outdated emblems. For example Mewtineer's coins. These just have no use anymore.
    • Tower of infinity tokens. You get the best pre-raid badges from soul boost so these are useless.
    • Old gems (regular hexagonal obsidians / garnets). Soul boost gives you straight up gilded versions so these have barely any use.
    • Legendary jewels. These have little to no use anymore and as such should be removed.
    • Old accessory boxes. Soul boost gives you (in general) good enough accessories until you acquire Skystealer items so these have little purpose.
    • Old weapon materials (Grand celestial steels, Silversteel weapon upgrade material etc)
    • Old psyches. There are still some really old non-legendary quality dungeon psyches in trove.
    • Raid resets
    • Old soulshields. There are still items such as Thornbreaker soul shields.  A week or so of active playing with soul boost will net you Silversteel soul shields which are better.
  • Add following:
    • More cosmetics. While the ones in treasure troves have usually been pretty good, it would not hurt to have some more. Especially consider adding outfits that are not obtainable by other means any longer (such as some outfits that were available in outfit boxes).
    • Pet gems
    • Insignias
    • Higher quality ascension / radiance stone chests. While these are currently in milestone rewards I think they should be in the trove itself aswell
    • Better experience charms. Currently there are charms such as 10k, which feels like a slap in the face considering hongmoon levels take billions of experience.
    • More high quality etching stones
    • Materials for weapon amulets
    • Shadow fury weapon material chest
    • Chaos tokens
    • Synthesis stones / more fusion stones
    • More sterling scales
    • Newest (at least newer) psyches

Hey, i will try to post some image and a message about it.

1- Unity experience charm Update

As new players getting to a decent unity level it is a true struggle, also these changes help mid tier players as well


2- Gold chest Update

Since the gold income is super low if you compare how much gold we burn to upgrade out current gear, this will be a nice income, so the change would be to remove the Gold chest and Replace the drop rate with the other 2 .

3- Experience charm Update
The HM level is 40 which is super high and it need 4 lifes of farming to get it .
To make an idea most of players including me and i play for 6 years this game, so most of us are HM level 25-28 with decent farm,event, and some trove, no other "abuse" that other did.

So what i'm asking here is that trove should have custom experience charm with 200k, 500k,2mil experience and drop more often.

4- Obsidian/Garnet Gems Update

With current patch we rich the Heptagonal tier on these, and we all know since ages these gems were a pain to get them.

So what i'm asking here is remove these 2 chest and replace with higher tier  such Octagonal and Triangular.

5-Some updates on these chest

  1a- The story and soul boost give us materials enough to Silversteel Stage 6 weapon, so what this chest need is an update of Silversteel Ore a higher quantity 
  2a-Master Fragment - Update to Nocturnal fragment higher quantity + replace Onyx with Shimmering Scale 
  3a- Master Core chest- Update to higher quantity of Sanctum Core since you can get it only from Forest of Echoes if im not wrong also this item is not that irrelevant in game, you really don't need it but some new plyaers might use it
  4a- Warrior Core chest - REMOVE is irrelevant, we don't use these anymore
  5a-Warrior Fragment  Chest- Update to Elder,Nocturnal,Shimmering fragments  with higher quantity
 6a - Warrior Scale Chest  - UPDATE - koldrak is good,change/remove Onyx/Silver scale to Elder,Nocturnal,Shimmering Scale

And let's not forget this is a REAL MONEY Gambling, these update in the form i post or close to it should be done asap.
Trove should be close to out current content/gear to be more appealing to people to spend money, if is outdate ofcouse nobody will spend since all the items are irrelevent. 
Also for new players getting closer items to mid tier game will make them more interested in game and make them to stay.

These are the changes that will make me more interested to spend on trove and beside that these should be fair changes for our current gear.

Remove the gold cost to buy things from the trove. I'm already using irl money for this event, but having to make sure Ive got like 10k gold on hand to spend it super frustrating. The rng boxes feel like such a better deal because it s not going to cost me gold.

Thanks for this question. For me, the number #1 issue with Trove is that buying expansion slots does not persist between "seasons". So if I buy all expansion slots during a season, they're gone the next time Trove comes around.

 

IMO, expansion slots should be permanent once you buy them on a character.

The list of items is heavily outdated, much of which has hardly changed for the last 3 years apart from cosmetics and some end game items, gems, vials, unity etc.
I attach a few images which might explain things a lot better and will echo what a lot of the other players say. Those marked with red lines should just be removed. 

Suggestion:
Removal of old and out dated items
Lower prices of items as the costs for stuff is too expensive for the average player to buy. eg; soulshields
Bring back more selection boxes for Gems, shields, psyches, etc. Adds more flexibility and keeps the list from being excessively long. Was done in the past but then got reverted for unknown reasons.
Add in old cosmetics from the early generation days. Again easier to do through selection boxes. 
Look at the % of a obtaining crits and increase or make them feel better by offering higher ticket items more often.

What we want from trove is to buy 100 keys or 200 and get interesting stuff from it, however to buy said amount we players have to invest 50 to 100 bucks, and to do that it must be having a huge added value, we already most of us pay 12 bucks per month to sustain this system and play, however its an insult and a spit in the face of the customer giving outdated stuff from something you're paying twice (real money + gold on each item).

 

List of usefull items we would like to see on trove:

 

overstuffed hongmoon gem powder pouch

hongmoon gem fragment

oblivion coins (for newest poharan pet gems, or remove the oblivion coin from the transmute, or give more sources to obtain this)

fusion stones

synthesis stones

Sterling Scales

Sacred Vials

Pet Pods

Etherial Vials

Hongmoon Gems more often, such as it was in 2018 before the treasure trove rework

Hongmoon Pet Gems

Chaos Emblem (while current soulshields are still relevant)

True Poharan SoulShields

Demonsbane psyches

Poharan/Pirate psyches

Challenger Tokens

Secret Safe (or other coffin containing high quantity of gold)

Sparkling Unity Pearls

Unity boxes that contain either Awakened Legendary or Mythical grade

XP Charms for 5 milion and 10 milion (they already exist in the game)

Venture Tokens (for some recurrency so you can buy a bit more keys if the experience was good, or just buy directly in shop what you want without gamble)

Dragon Trade Pouches

Character Vouchers (so addicts to outfits etc they can change they're character gender, name, appearance, etc)

Searing Grandmaster Stones (for compound system)

 

And the list could go on and on, but basically in 2018 before the trove rework there was a lot of people troving and spending money, after that there's only been mostlikely complains on trove being expensive and uneffective, I'd be up to throw a couple hundred each time on buying keys if it would really be worth it, but if I get from 200 or 400 keys absolutely nothing worth for me then I'm not up for it never ever again, the trove should be giving relevant items, and specially the ones players want to see for end game such as the latest tier of hongmoon gilded gems, sterling scales or any other item that has recently been introduced in the game.

 

There's basically a very long list of items that you can get by farming slowly and there's others items in this game that if you make calculations it would take you a decade to obtain by just game resources, it is supposed payment method such as trove should solve that, the problem you guys don't understand is bringing players frustration for not getting what they want out of it (casino, pull the lever more) and us customers in the western we get fooled once and that's it for you, the strategy on keeping the high hype and desire on items is not going to make us pay twice, so basically you guys make the experience of troving worth it, or you will only keep fooling people for a quick cash grab once and no return.

Let me start off by saying that asking for player feedback is a very pleasant surprise and makes me very hopeful for the future of the game.

My views on trove are coming as an endgame player however i'm considering what items players at all gear levels would find useful.

 

General:

- Outfit 2 star crits should also have a gold box so they contain something useful after you've already collected all the outfits.

- Soulshields, Badges, Weapon materials and other guaranteed raid drops have no business being in trove. They encourage players to never engage with arguably the most engaging content the game offers. Players who don't wish to raid can buy them from other players for cheaper (by joining their raid as a buyer) and still experience the raid to some extent.

- Accessory boxes also don't belong in trove, this encourages people to play the game less.

- Bonus rewards for 300 keys and above are pretty underwhelming. You could fix that by making bonus rewards resettable. For example i would much prefer to buy 2*200 keys and get 40 sterling scales from that than i would 1*500 keys in order to get a stone with a random stat that might be completely useless.

- Prices of tradable items should reflect the current market prices. For example buying gem fragments from trove is only 2* cheaper (bad) than buying them from marketplace as of writing this while buying dyad gem fragments is rougly 5* cheaper (good).

- Please bring back "Tanzanite Pet Gem" and "Jasper Pet Gem" they were available during a single halloween event almost two years ago. Players who didn't get them back are basically stuck with worse pet gems. You could put them in any of the p2w events (trove, rng box, Fortune’s Favor,...).

 

Specific:

- Libery tokens, liberty token fragments are outdated. You can get all the badges that you can buy with them by disasembling a completed badge that costs 30 solar energy in the dragon express. Suggested fix: replace them with tribute tokens. Badges made from tribute tokens are currently unobtainable in the game.

- Scales/scale fragments (most) are outdated. Suggested fix: replace them with "Scale/Scale fragment support chest" (this item is already in the game).

- Blood rose, SilverSteel Ore, Twisted Heart, Sealed Grand Celestial Steel (most) are outdated. Suggested fix: replace them with "Weekly challenge upgrade selection chest" (this item is already in the game).

- Mech heart, Scarlet bloom, Twisted wheel (most) are outdated. Suggested fix: replace them with "Weekly accessory booster selection chest" (this item is already in the game).

- Mewtineer's coin/piece, Tranquility emblem/fragment, Alpha emblem/fragment are outdated and if they weren't they would also fall under skipping progression which encourages people to play less. Suggested fix: remove them.

- Obsidian/Garnet selection boxes range from hexagonal to gilded square. The current tier is gilded heptagonal. in order to obtain one you would need 27 of the gilded square boxes (3 star crit) or 2187 hexagonal boxes. Furthermore obsidians and garnets under octagonal are no longer obtainable in any way except trove (because they're so outdated). Suggested fix: smallest box should contain an octagonal garnet/obsidian, rarities should be adjusted.

-Hongmoon Gilded Triangular gem selection chest and Hongmoon Gilded Square selection chest are outdated. Suggested fix: replace them with current tier voucher (upcoming hexagonal voucher that we can see in dragon express) and increase their price (90g->300g?)

- Experience charms are outdated. Hongmoon levels above 30 require over 1billion average Experience each. This means that an "Ordinary Experience Charm" gives you (on average) 0.001% of a level and an "Excellent Hongmoon XP" charm gives you 0.01% of a level. Suggested fix: Replace them with Special Hongmoon XP charm.

- Warrior's core selection chest, Master's core selection chest are outdated, only cores that are still somewhat in use are sanctum cores. Suggested fix: replace them with sanctum cores.

- Emperor's Tomb Reset Chest is outdated, remove it.

- Raid revival charms are useless, remove them.

- All psyches currently in trove are outdated, remove them.

- Increase (double or triple?) the amount (and cost) of useful items such as: "pet pod", "pet pack", "gem powder", "gem fragment", "transformation stone", "premium transformation stone", "sacred oil", "sacred vial", "sterling scale", "sterling scale fragment", "ethereal vial", "fusion stone", "synthesis stone", "Hongmoon Master Scroll", "Evolved stone".

 

Add various new items from recent additions to the game such as:

-Insignia boxes (similar amount, cost as unity chests), 1* (3 blue quality) 2* (3 purple quality),

-Challenger token (common 2 star replacing psyche crits), 2* (1 in each, cost 200g?),

-Gilded triangular/square/pentagonal pet gem selection boxes (as rare 2 star/3 star crits), (similar cost to regular gems),

-skystealer crystals pouches (could be a filler item in almost any trove roll, please do not add single crystals they're useless in that form), 10s/pouch 1* 5 pouches, 2* 50 pouches, 2* (rare) 150 pouches,

-outfits from previous troves/p2w events, (similar cost to current outfits),

-pets from previous p2w "Fortune’s Favor" event (as a 3star crit), (single, 20k-30k?),

-chaos emblems (can be a filler on any trove roll in various amounts), 1g/emblem 1* 1 emblem, 2* 10 emblem, 2* (rare) 30 emblems.

-reintroduce wonder ascencion stone chest and awakened stellar radiance stone chest (no idea why these were removed, as 2* crits) (same cost and amount as they were before).

 

In conclusion a big issue with trove has always been that it's not kept up to date. It gets overhauled about once a year and the first trove after is always somewhat reasonable. The first troves the game had were some of the most rewarding and people often reminisce of them when complaining about current troves. You would guaranteed make alot of money by just making trove "worth it" again.

Yes this is infact the first time I'm seeing a GM in this game interacting with the community for feedback.. but here's what I would like to be changed on trove (after opening around 500 or so keys so far)

I'll start with what I want gone as they are out dated so I'm not sure why these are even included in a crit. 

 

More than half of these show up in a 2 star crit, and they are absolutely useless for current content, mainly due to soul boost just giving us all the items all the way till Silver Steel, and 6v6 being just completely dead. I agree with everything but except the IA weapon material as it's usefull to get animas to buy higher stages of amulet

Feedback#1:

I just rolled a single trove page and it had

x3 Realmkeeper orb  and x8 Realmkeeper fragment

Now these materials convert back and forth 1orb -> 2 fragments and back for no loss through salvaging.  Its equivalent to the same item taking up two lines.

 

Feedback#2:

I enjoy comparing a trove line to the ingame source of an item, or the daily dash square, or a f10 specials listing of an item(easy to compare vs the ncoin/hmcoin value of the trove key), to gauge how much I like it.   For example, alpha emblems(although kind of old and less relevant to the current player) drops 2 full emblem from the daily quest.  Seeing trove award 1 fragment feels out of touch with that item source at present.

 

Feedback#3:

Above Alpha emblem, ~6 are used along with a gold cost to buy a weekly limit box.  The daily quest gold award is valuable towards the gold part of the fee.  Awarding alpha emblems without gold bleeds out ones gold wealth, making alpha emblems less desirable as a reward for the discerning trove player.

 

Feedback#4:

I really like the selection boxes for crystals/orbs.  Back in the past way back, each variety had separate trove lines and they took up much more real estate in the trove rewards than they do now.  Selection boxes would work great for weapon gems, pet gems, and outfits to enable powerful crits with more varieties of reward available to choose from.

 

Feedback#5:

Some of the rewards seem out of touch.  Green charms, x1 of a consumable, difficult to use legendary jewels, some of the blue medicine balls, raid revival charms(especially the ones that only work pre-Grand Celestial emperor raids), old dungeon cores, silver scales, etc.   Many of these rewards are downright ancient and hard to use.  Temporary consumables with a 30min duration that stack x3, a 2 star option gave me the option to buy 2 of them... thats less than one session of use, on a fancy 2 star prize page. scaling the price with the quantity offered is fine, usuable amounts please, and advanced quantities when showing up in lucky 2 star+ crits.  One set of 3 would be fine in a 1 star page. C'mon, its supposed to be good, 2 star!

My experience with trove wasn’t the best and because NC support members always says “you should write about your request in forum” here it is. So I bought 3x800 keys just to get unity stones and by mistake I took 2 of the same colour stones which our NC support members can’t change for me to two different ones, cause that as they say “would be disadvantage for other players”. So that one extra awakened ascension stone which I payed extra 800keys just gonna stay in my unity tab forever useless cause I can’t use 2 of the same ones for the skills can’t refine or do anything about it. 😄 Thank you that you “care” about us NC I had really “great” experience trying to solve this issue with customer support. 😄

1. Either go back to the old days of trove when it was mostly exclusive cosmetics only and maybe gems. Rid the game of p2w and pay to progress (Unlikely since profits wouldn't be as high)

2. Revamp and overhaul trove extensively. The rng is terrible you can buy thousands upon thousands of keys and pretty much never see a 3 star crit outside of the laughable cosmetic one you can get on a 2 star... The loot table is primarily garbage either riddled with a ton of bottom tier obsolete rewards that no one spending a decent amount on would want vs the value of said items per key or top tier rewards that never land and have no appeal to anyone really. Put in useful rewards people will actually need and use instead of actual items like gems or shields or weapon mats. Give a man a fish vs teach a man to fish. You guys are attempting to lure people in with giving rather than just supplementing. Everyone basically needs the same mats to upgrade and that's all should be in trove aside from the old days kind of stuff like exclusive cosmetics. No big or whole items should even be in there, people should have to actually play the game rather than swipe for best in slot or catch up gear and items. Rather than like trying to make and bait LESS people to spend MORE money per participating player. Why not try to entice MORE people to spend and participate overall even if its LESS money per person but overall would earn more and have a healthier thriving playerbase. Of course trove only wouldn't change this and at this point its unlikely to winback a playerbase of years past without totally rebooting the game and making basically a new game entirely or sequel. Non gear related trove exclusive items or benefits could add more cosmetic, skins, name tags, display effects, could market a ton of visuals instead of things we can already farm make it how it used to be trove for things that don't get you ahead but satisfy the true endgame "cosmetics" trove is a horrible value to return rng casino for mats and isnt even a smart way to obtain the mats for what you have to put out. Visuals you can't put a price on they're as valuable as someone wants to roll the dice for. Putting mats and stuff is a scam especially mats that drop like candy in large quantities and big spenders either farm hard or use other means to obtain stuff than trove. The big spenders trove lures in usually are addicted to rng/gambling overall or are super lazy to farm or do research on other ways with less money they could've obtained the items in trove. Could've even bought gold in f9 and bought the mats straight out of f5 for cheaper even if you landed on what you wanted everytime. It's just a bad way to try and attempt to get ahead in bns theres no single prize worth the avg cost the player would have to put in with the exception of pure luck.

I troved a lot more in earlier times because:
- you could get current items out of trove crits, not stuff multiple tiers below the current tier.

 F.e. you can get ET soul shields, we have ET -> HoI -> IA -> BM -> Poh -> True Poh, that's legit 5 tiers below the most current tier (aside from being able to farm Poh easily with ~15-20m dps already). 
With how rare 3 star crits are I want them to be actually useful, but you get also f.e. ET weapon materials (ET -> IA -> BM). Replace them with the current tier so people can actually go for 3 star crits, right now aside from the gem crit, the true thunder/divine spark soul/true dauntless heart crit and the 25 Sterling Scale crit all the 3 star crits are useless to players on close to max gear. 
There are also f.e. Hexagonal Garnets/Obsidians in crits with current max being gilded hepta you'd only need this crit 2187 times to finally have a max gem, no thanks.

 

- rarity of some "special" crits

Aside from the soul/heart crit, which I've never seen in the game before with more than 20k keys used in my bns life also the gem crits are waaay less often than earlier troves. You could actually trove to max your gems with like 4-5k keys, with current proc rates you'd probably need 50-60k or even more keys to max your gems. You get 200 Keys for ~100€, to max your gems with the gem bundles you need ~90k NCoin, so ~1120€ which would translate into 2.2k keys, it's just not worth it. 
Increase chances for some rarer items, bait them with useful crits into spending more money.

 

- unrewarding 1 star crits

I know not everything should be a win, but when the best pick out of a key are 30k exp with a single mob in ad stage 71 (where you'd farm exp) is 300k it just feels bad and wasted. Spent money shouldn't feel worse than killing a single mob in a dungeon. Even stage 51 would be double the exp you'd get from spending money in trove.

Every time I see those items I think it's another waste to trove since all of those items are all not useful for any kind of main (or are even main story quest rewards lol)

 

- milestones were easier to "farm"

when the first soul/heart/pet/talisman psyches got released we only had a 300 milestone, making it possible to reach 3 of those psyches in 900 keys. Then they decided to add 2 more milestones up to 800 giving me only 1 of those psyches you actually do want instead of 3 for the same 900 keys. I don't even need the 500/800 rewards since I already exceeded that tier. Basically a 500 key waste of milestone rewards. 
Put those 500/800 rewards in some crits for people who still need it, make milestones more farmable again.

 

To summarize it:
- Remove all the outdated/useless content from 2*/3* crits

- increase chance for 3* crits, so it's worth "farming" trove. Getting one 3* every 300-500 keys is annoying as hell, especially if you get the 3* crit with useless content (last trove I didn't get a single useful 3* crit and nearly all 2* crits were better than my 3* crits...).

- increase gold from trove (we had 1 trove where people actually gained gold instead of spending more than gaining and that trove got ninja nerfed without any kind of announcement in a regular maintenance), we are currently burning so much gold with the accessories without generating any gold.
- increase exp/reputation from trove (a single mob which takes 2 seconds to kill in exp farm gives 10x more exp than some trove exp rewards...), also some people weren't there on the hongsil event still needing to grind up reputation, make it easier to catch up with some trove rewards
- increase tier of obsidians/garnets aside from the fused hexa the next tier is square (no penta at all, no "non-fused" gilded hexa version for f.e. more likely crits aside from the rare hepta fuse gem crit)
- use f.e. 1.000.000 exp charms, Materials(Material Chests, Skystealer Crystals, Skystealer Crystal Pouches), Scales (not needed for the most current tier but maybe people still need it for lower tiers), Reputation Charms in 1* crits (if people want to spend 100€ for 200m exp, which is ~45 minutes of farming in Aerodrome, that's fully fine in my opinion). Just make it not feel like wasted money in 90% of the keys you open.
- remove 500/800 milestones and add those rewards to the crits, so we can "farm" the 300 milestone again
- just my personal opinion (and maybe unpopular), but I'd like more of a variety in the different keys so I'd actually prefer not everytime the same type of selection chests but would rather prefer sometimes f.e. directly Elysian Crystals instead of the selection box with the elysians in there. Just for some "what will I get, what will I get" feeling

Trove got more and more unrewarding over time and felt like recycled content (which it literally was most of the times, costumes got replaced and else it was literally the same trove a lot of times).

-> Poharan Soulshields (legendary) to 2* crits (50g)
-> current Psyches (Aerodrome, Substratum, Poharan) for 2* crits, maybe even Grand Psyches in 3* crits (50g normal, 500g grand)
-> possibly also Soulboost Psyches (which are not obtainable else) for Soul/Heart/Pet/Talisman in 2* crits (100g)
-> Challenger Tokens for 2* crits (300g) (at least I'd "farm" trove for those alone)
-> Blackmoon Badges in 3* crits (500g)
-> Blackmoon Amulet in 3* crits (1000g)
-> Blackmoon Weapon Material in 3* crits (500-700g)
-> Pet Gems (Tri/Square/Penta) in rare 2* crits, maybe guaranteed Penta as with fuse gems in 3* (500g)
-> Synthesis Stones (from 1-2 in 1* crits to 300-500 in 3* crits) (which would still only be 3-5 upgrade tries for high end players with a 6% chance, maybe even more, see the upgrade problem/low gold problem from Mesmer in the forum for reference)
-> Fusion Stones in 1* crits
-> Insignia Chests (from blue in 1* crits over blue in 2* crits to Legendary/Mythical in 3* crits, Aerodrome, Substratum, Poharan, Master types)
-> Divine Splendor Psyche Chest in rare 2* crits (500-1000g)

-> something from the costume 2* crit with gold chests or exp, quite a few times the best you can pick is 1 fusion stone which is really annoying for a 2* crit and doesn't feel like a 2* crit
