The excitement (and frustration) you got when you stayed up late with 23 other people to practice and clear BT for the very first time back when it was brand new cotent. (also me mentioning paying 35g for something when 35g was a huge deal lol)

Also should maybe add all outfits to respective raid merchants with required clears/materials. The ones only available as drops of course.

If you have an old howl of the hound quest in progress from before the update you need to first abandon it and take a fresh copy as it's been updated since the past from the old heroics being rotated out. The most recent copy will have shrine, trials, and sub hard for credit, if you have an old copy in progress it'll be looking for like FoE hard and stuff which is no longer in F8. Also I agree the rewards are outdated for the howl of the hound quest. Maybe throw in an oculus stone fragment chest like a 30 frag or something like you get with the bonus which should be 3/3 and not 1/1 that's really odd in itself if you are going to do one of each hard. Could even add more synthesis to the reward or fusion. Update the gold too.
  4. @Green StormAny update on this whole fiasco some of these have turned out to be more than just a visual bug for example after mainentance this week my oculus gildstones have completely lost their 3 bonus stats/lines and I tested in Grim Nexus and when applying the stats don't change in P + or drop down % like on accuracy.

  7. Its unfortunate everything got changed to be 6 hours earlier in the reset time department for everyone in NA. Hope they can fix this soon.
  8. Ajanara Bonus Reward Reset erases in game guide if not used within 24 hours. With demonsbane you can add up to 2 or 3 reset bonus rewards counts ontop of the default of 3/3 and they'll stay in the game guide queue indefinitely until you hit the daily limit then it'll take from the reward reset bucket even if its on a future day meaning you dont have to save the orb in your inventory you can pre add it to the game guides dungeon (up to 2 or 3 depending on the dungeon and some dungeons share reset rewards) and if you hit the limit on any single day it'll take from the additional bucket if you continue to run the dungeon or series of dungeons linked to the reset after you deplete the daily 3 and choose to take or accept the dynamic additional reward. With shrouded ajanara if you use an orb and dont run it right away the bonus reset actually resets by the next day it erases your queue of orbs you add to the game guide. So you have to basically use it right away and complete the 1/1 and any additionals because pre using it will wipe it by the next day where with demonsbanes it won't. (This bug has existed since the resets were added in the dragon express premium tab revamp in September this year)

When the above checkbox is checkmarked in settings up until recently it implied that you had to type "Discard" in order to discard Heroic "Purple" or higher tier items, and this is how it always has worked since bns launch in 2016. Now it actually requires you to type "Discard" on Superior "Blue" or higher tier items. For some reason it dropped down 1 tier in asking for confirmation if you have this option selected under "O" Settings > Game Tab > Interface. I want to say this change came with the Shrouded Ajanara update on August 9 2022 but could've possibly came with the Alter of Infinite on July 1 2022. It's a very recent change though that came in the last few months or updates. If this change is intended, then they should update the options to say "Superior" instead of "Heroic" or look into why its asking for "Superior and above".
  13. According to the roadmap we will be getting the class change voucher in October along with the release of the new "Musician" class aka "Bard", A new demonsbane dungeon will come also as well with new accessories and events.
  14. 1. Go into Settings "O" and then navigate to the Sound Tab. Click Reset in the lower left hand corner of the screen and then press "Y" to reset the current selected tab to the defaults. This should reset the Sound Tab only but it actually resets 3 settings elsewhere in addition to the Sound Tab which are located in the Graphics Tab, Advanced settings: "Display My Effects", "Display Others' Effects", and "Display Monster Effects" all get reset to their respective defaults of "5" in addition to the Sound Tab being resetted and defaulted. Verified nothing else gets reset anywhere else in any other tabs or in the graphics/advanced display using this method.
  15. Yeah as much as this would be great and I was a huge advocate of hoping they'd increase the skystealer crystals once again but face it this is our new reality for now. It's unlikely at this point and it'd make them look like even huger *insert whatever negative term here* etc if they actually did this at this point in time..... They took rng, made a new system, took rng away, people upgraded prior, some waited, some farmed, then to backpedal and suddenly put a ton of resources back after they severely reduced the old resource flow? This is just the new way of things korea got starcross succession already and it also went 100% (same system) so that's what we'll be looking forward to, no ones gonna be hitting 20 anytime soon without buying up F5 and F10 or trovin hard. Be a few months topps and we'll have the starcross successors out. So pick your poison spend time on skystealer, spend time on starcross, etc it's just the future for now. Rushed dungeons and content, not far behind korea now we're in the same year in terms of content not too many months behind them at this point. If anything ask for more starcross materials now rather than ask or bother with skystealer and save em all the starcross mats don't play with rng wait for the 100% change lol than trying to spend so much time on old stuff to just end up at the same point when the change comes in a few months to starcross..... Maybe if they won't buff the old supply they'll buff the new supply. Least no one will be blindsided as this is the future way of succession for now.
  16. Hello @Green Storm, Noticed these in F10 today. When will these be added to obtain ingame? The previous demonsbanes AD and SUB had similar skystealer resets given through completing the howl of the hound 3x hard mode daily quest. You got one of em a day and could queue up to 3 resets at a time while storing the rest. The reset limits were shared between the 2 dungeons much like how with the new starcross dungeons with the bonus rewards being shared between the 3 dungeons with the odd one out being CSC. The old resets from skystealer were never antiqued or offered to exchange for the new starcross ones. Will this be addressed in the near future? Thanks.
  17. Weekly Wonder Chest, Weekly Pet Chest, Weekly Sterling Crystal Chest make cheaper they are 2 box per category per account per week yes? Well unless you play on more than 1 character everyday you can't get all of them you don't get enough solar energies per week or honings even if you do everything all 7 days on 1 character unless you get good rng e.g. bonus solars on opening or premium hmcoin box in f10. So if in 7 days 1 char gets min 35 solars or something then that should be how much it is to get all 6 chests as well as enough honing. It is account wide but nobody should have to play on more than 1 char everyday to get the benefits of this. I mean at most it only takes a partial 2nd char to obtain all but should be obtainable by a single char doing max dailies. Just half the cost of the chests for solar/honing or both. Remove all soul shields and put in only the latest at a discount compared to non premium. Silversteel never even got discounted but at this point just throw True Poharan in there or whatever below it too that is relevant. Adding fusion stones, skystealer crystals, starcross fragments, upsurge essences, synthesis stones would be nice also. Add legendary and mythical tier etching stones Gold chests or offer more gold in the current ones minimum 100g
  18. @Green Storm Aside from social media and the forums you should also be in game to cover all of your bases and ensure feedback is being heard from all around the community. There actually was a time where I'd see a GM ingame (very rare) but they'd interact and ask for questions and feedback and compile a list of things to address The RNG removal of skystealer isn't something to be 100% proud of at best it's a little more than 50% in favor of it being a good system overall to have removed but you guys did drop the ball towards a large part of the middle to upper tier of the community with the change (those players do care, the game isn't all about them but they do make up a very large and important/integral part of the game and system as well so I hope you guys concider these kinds of things in the future). About each territory being its own environment and should not be compared is incorrect. This gives diversity within each respective region yet also can give ideas to bring to other regions that many players might actually want and enjoy. Just because you're born in the west vs the east doesn't mean you have to follow any sort of stereotype that each region want's something their own way or different, maybe to some players yea, but you should be doing polls. Trends in feedback are trends for a reason, they might originate as hearsay or word of mouth but it is a collective experience people aren't just blurting what they hear they also experience it so you are asking for their feedback, that is their feedback too. You can't make everyone happy so if you want every person to have a unique concern, nothing would ever be solved or larger trending issues would go unsolved that plague the majority. You can't assume stuff nor expect everyone to be on a certain social media platform. You could gather trending issues, compile them and since you guys don't actually play the game and can only look at it from a business standpoint and not from a player standpoint host a poll of like maybe the top few issues per patch you guys are willing to address, people can partake in the poll to give confirmation as to what is more or most important to them at the time. Back in the day as I said GMs would pop ingame and gather info and they'd also host polls and surveys from a large sample pool/size that would have maybe the top 5 or 10 trending issues and kind of like a priority list/order for people. Things went largely ignored because decisions were likely made based on how much revenue it'd bring bns rather than will this make more players unhappy than big spenders and such. Seeing as the game is probably now realizing for the west that it's only here now for a tiny smidge of a profit and pretty much being carried by other regions and games you guys are willing as long as the servers running to still attempt some revenue but give more to try to turn the game back into more f2p friendly. Make a patch feedback thread like you said you were going to a week or two ago but haven't maybe you're busy but whatever. Keep it open for 30 days. Encourage people to participate in it but try to extend it even ingame as well or at least have some big message when you log on telling people it's important to participate. After you compile several top issues and host a survey or poll that pretty much is compared. You have the people who spoke up all over the forums and social media but also the people who voted from all around including ingame and see if the results match, voting could be extended to the game, they used to do it in the UI. Complete a quest, get a reward, and a survey popped up asking what you'd like to see with a few radio buttons to choose from this gets to everyone who plays. They'd add it in at like the end of doing a yellow quest or story or something since the patches usually revolve around major releases such as a new dungeon or raid or story you complete the quest and at the very end you get the ingame invite. The forums will bring the topics to light initially for you to compile to put into such a survey that could also be open for 30 days ingame after the 30 days in the forums. People want more than just bug fixes and stuff. You're gathering info here and on social media but make 1 place for it, a megathread and follow up later with a poll/voting/survey on not just social but ingame for people to concur are their top issues they want addressed a majority priority order. Won't make everyone happy but you can listen to majority who choose to partake at least and silent ones will eventually come out if they don't like it and speak up and join in. Also you can get feedback from different groups or types of players too. Every month could make a thread on like top few issues that you guys are going to implement changes for in the coming month or do it every quarter if monthly is too much. Bigger design changes take time so those can be quarterly or something. Shows you're acknowleding trends rather than just saying "I'm seeing trends" that way people know exacty which trends you are "seeing" and concidering things can be narrowed from both ends the player to the devs. Players are going to want ultimate transparency to know their voice is being heard rather than being told as such, individually is hard to accomodate but groups and masses aren't thru feedback threads and survey/polls/voting.

The changes were definitely not good (only good for some) It wasn't about a cost reduction it was an entire systems change which shortchanges 2 groups of people: Group 1 who converted to starcross right before the announcement and Group 2 who had not yet converted to starcross but depleted all of their crystal reserves in failed attempts to be told "hey if you'd saved it all these months you would've been better off" and more "ahead" (then players that spent or played more but attempted upgrades or converted) and some of these people were hardcore farmers, lucky, or whales that also got shafted. Previous reductions weren't done in a way to give any player any sort of advantage it was just to help newer players and players behind or maybe unlucky catch up somewhat but not to this degree they literally handed people who saved crystals and didn't attempt upgrading or converting to starcross a holy grail. I for one didn't want the change, yet they should be consistent either all or none, either keep rng as fail downgrade or mileage or remove it entirely from an accessories path present and future, and adjust accordingly if you want to make it cheaper later there rather than bouncing back and forth between methods as you go along to see how well it is received by the community. Maybe try to edge it in slowly instead of you know on 6 items at once lol try maybe 1 item at a time. It's a lesson learned though as far as what to expect for the future of Starcross despite Starcross having mileage the crystals are very scarce in comparison to Skystealers in their prime, even skystealers now if you farm all the old daily dynamics probably net you more or around the same. My opinion is they should've done as with past "reductions" is to only reduce part of the system most players are differentiated and giving a +20 or a few away wasn't the answer to the problem. You could've removed rng up to a certain point and then resumed rng which kind of goes against my all or nothing or a better solution would've just been not to make the upper 5 levels or so.. so cheap in comparison to what they were before as this is a system you can move to a newer system and retain great benefits vs in the old days it was just next tier but still a long ways to go. They basically made it so there's no incentive to really try to push your luck since we've been given a big treat in return, so kind of telling people to save their money and just wait, on nc's side just means less revenue for them lol and less of a gap between whales and the rest of the group. I mean they did need to address the middle class the most and in this case that's who got screwed the most was the mid/mid-upper tier of players. Whales are just fine and it benefited more the casual do every dungeon 1x a day person and save your mats for months kind of player. Didn't help the player who supplemented playtime and cash together and may have even spent countless hours a day and always attempting upgrades. I'm done with the topic and could careless just hope to all that reads but even to nc that it was a very bad move and imcomparable to any past moves of the like. Hard work was always rewarded but now it boils down to a choice of involving a huge risk of try now vs save for a potential major change not a cost reduction but a major change in which you might not have enough currency for. Other systems they reduced, gave away, or removed fail drops with mileage but still pretty much retained the value and the cost of such. The skystealers was way way expensive with the low rng before so yea its good they changed this for some but the pioneers really got shafted in the whole conversion mess, something that didn't ever happen before. It was only a gap closure but not a setback for pioneers lol. Either way still happy otherwise with the state of the game and direction it has been going. New dungeons quite long if you don't get the shorter portals. They could probably slow a bit down on the new dungeon every month thing because at this rate Starcross will be on its way out soon enough. Although it is also kind of late for these QoL changes to come to the game you could argue either way in favor or against but the damage has been done. People will burst comeback for content like now but it'll be short lived hype is all. BnS already delievered itself several fatal but slow bleeding blows. Gonna enjoy what's left of the game though for NA. Pretty sure it won't be around much longer for NA. Maybe give or take a few years but I'm gonna be out pretty soon likely end of year or next.
  20. So the system still is a "fail downgrade" kind of system if you look at it. They just give you the illusion that it's not. You attempt to upgrade now until the change in several months, get unlucky, lose mats and gold, then the big change happens and you are downgraded in comparison to others who just waited for the change since you won't have anywhere near the mats required and they could just pass you like nothing. Some game now. Now they added a new gamble to bns.. "Will they do it to starcross as well in the same timeframe as was for skystealer?" lol bait system now vs guarantee system later after all the "suckers" did it first that's how they're treating it now. Why even have an upgrade button on it now? Oh right for people that didn't learn from skystealer or new players. Thing is this is out in the open now for everyone to be ready with when the next tier comes out. Unless you guys 180 on it and then like increase the cost by doing the polar opposite of skystealer. (Was waiting for your post patch feedback thread green storm but hasn't happened yet)

Biggest problem with this update is for people that got high + on the broken obsolete old rng fail upgrade system for skystealer that burned countless skystealer crystals and gold so basically someone that just saved their crystals and stopped at like +11 now can have +20s and people that spent and pushed to get it close to +20 are now shafted and out of crystals that's what's mostly messed up with the update. In the past cost reductions were done and giveaways like c2a and sb bp mp etc were done but never in a hugely advantegious for those that saved up/disadvantegious for those that basically kept this game going by either paying/grinding/farming and constantly funding and attempting rng upgrades situations such as this are huge middle fingers to some. You guys in this case should've either not allowed it to be 100% after a certain + level or awarded something to ones that had passed a certain threshold e.g skystealer crystals almost like a compensation bundle for those in the high teens that spent 100x more than the current system and still got shafted. Now this asks the question are you guys gonna do the same with starcross lol will just make people sit at half max cause they know its gonna be modified by the end of the year to give people who saved crystals a reward vs those trying to enchant now with the crystals being in very limited supply. You're basically saying just do dailies, don't upgrade, and when the next set comes out we'll allow you to bump it to the same point. Cause getting it to +18 before took 100s of attempts per acc and wasted lots of crystals that you could've just saved for a few dungeons and kept your accessory lower than instantly been rewarded for not pushing an upgrade. It's just gonna train people now that if they got a +20 skystealer to a +16 starcross not to touch that +16 starcross and just save until you guys turn it into a fixed system by the end of the year lol so they can +20 it too and +16 the next, rather than waste several months and materials and gold to not get to +20 and then not have enough when it gets changed.. Like why would people want to even try knowing this kind of change is possible now? I know a f2p player yes a f2p player that stoppped at 11 on all their accessories and has 2 +20s after the change, f2p, just does his dailies nothing more, saved the gold, saved the mats, or others in the same boat now have 17-19s easy... The ones that dont have it were the same people but instead they tried to get it there and never got it there and burned everything they had and are now basically told well if u only waited and knew lol. So why would you even want to concider whaling out on the game at this point? It's like a sucker bet at a casino. Before it was just a gamble, now it's totally like telling everyone not to try at all and just save for the change. With stuff like soul and pet you guys rewarded people that had got it higher with additional levels when the system converted over to a mileage and no drop fail system. It wasn't perfect but it was something. With skystealers you just alienated a lot of players that stayed active, online, farming, or spending and keeping the game going and just rewarding hoarding in lieu, minimal effort.
  22. @Green Storm Do we have to wait until the patch notes or can we get a tentative table or chart that could be provided here for us for feedback now and such? I'm 50/50 on the whole change. I worked hard to get everything to +17s and easily had the worst rng in getting 'em there too lol was like 50 tries a stage for each when they got to double digit levels (not complaining, knew what I was getting myself into). I was looking to converting them over and still having at least some sort of an edge with the old system in place. If the change means even a slightly easier +20 cool but at the same time what about people who even up to recent used the old system? These kind of changes help everyone but also hurt many at the same time. This should've been introduced far sooner. Also will you guys do anything for people that basically converted over and then this post came right out? Will reversions work, will there be exceptions made, etc? Just some thoughts.

This is NC we're talking about they moved the server before in NA disregarding peoples' wishes of a more centralized location as it was vs flat out on one coast and yea either people put up with increased ping or quit the game. Likely will just be their strategy to close down eventually. The game itself barely makes them a smidge in comparison to their other titles like mobile and is far behind compared to other older pc titles, and the west is even a more insignificant amount of revenue than worldwide. At this point im surprised they aren't dedicating the few people running the bns west show onto some new mobile title that'll make them hundreds of times more revenue. Just say we're lucky we still have a game to log onto at this point in the west. Q2 and beyond will be interesting but those numbers will be primarily made up from other non western regions making the bulk of the revenue for bns. They probably lucky if they get a million dollars from west at this point per quarter since last quarter worldwide was at like 5.5m lol which is gonna mostly be CN/TW/RU/KR. Its something but pales in comparison to the 300m per quarter making titles they got on mobile. BnS in the west is just a fanservice for them at this point until they get bored and want something fresh that'll make them more money. That's why they don't spend much on design and development whole reason of the buff old dungeon reuse old content recycle they aren't gonna pay artists and designers to make new assets if they can just reuse reskin recolor with the exception of some new cosmetics and classes but they won't be going out of their way to make elaborite new areas to explore and if they do it's definitely not on bns earnings. BnS NA for sure isn't gonna be around in a year or two from now.
  24. @Green Storm In general, what reduces the appeal of the Treasure Trove to you, and what would improve it? Well trove is better overall this time but the appeal is still quite low. You're spending good money and of course it's a rng gamble so there has to be worthless more common prizes to balance out the rarer better prizes but it doesnt have to be that way. The more common prizes could be upped quite a bit in value and relevancy to people investing money in trove. All in all you should be removing things that have no value for current relevant gear (anything released in the past 3 to 6 months is pretty relevant and current enough) up to but not including the two latest demonsbanes (newer so don't need to be included this time around but next trove...) with an emphasis on whats tougher to obtain. You guys have catch up events, soul boost, etc (for your older content). Putting skystealer accessories though in there when they drop like candy from easy modes is a waste of a placeholder. Could throw more evolved stones or good experience in lieu. Trove is meant to be and should always be fresh every time around. The gems in trove should only be gilded octa, gilded hepa, gilded hexa, dyad and non dyads, these non gilded gems are also a waste of a placeholder with worthless items to chose from. Any sealed old dungeon accessory boxes are worthless to most that'd spend a good amount on trove. Same with the actual accessories that nobody really ever sees. Most are going to be looking for stuff that isn't easily obtainable or farmable and they could in turn horde for profit/to sell or hold for current tier and future upgrades. Ethereal vials, sterling crystals (bound and unbound), synthesis stones, dyad fragments, transformation stones, evolved stones, pet pods, pet packs, sacred oils, sacred vials, cosmetics, high tier legendary psyches for accessories (AD/SUB), master scrolls, high experience charms/quantity (10m/5m/1m charms times several), high unity charms/quantity (500k, 100k, 50k times several), amulet (bm and ia), weapon mat (bm), soulshield (poh). That's what most are likely looking for with the rest being easily farmable and pvp stuff at this point shouldnt even be included or craftable buff charms. Alpha emblems and divine grace stones are pretty outdated. Koldrak scales, insignia and etching stones.. No need for like anything prior to BM and IA and even BM and IA stuff is select like amulets and such maybe weapon mat and hearts for the former. The gold boxes are nice as long as you keep the 100g ones sold for 10g for the minimum gold box amount/rate/cost. Skystealer crystals pretty worthless should be throwing the new dark/light crystals in there in lieu especially for next one in 3 months if skystealer crystals are still there you guys are trippin.
