  1. This is EXACTLY right. The ban has to hurt much more to prevent people from cheating and to instill some confidence in those who dont cheat.
  2. Agree with the sentiment. NC rolls out a pretty successful launch of UE4 and then completely bonks the game with bogus dungeon changes, destroys third spec FM, ignores other blatant imbalances, and allows cheating to run rampant.
  3. this kind of blatant cheating is just sickening. I don't understand how they always turn a blind eye to it.
  4. Cause you know, its your game and thought you might like to know and all. Dont ask me to send a ticket, its your game not mine.
  5. Yep, this is me exactly. The thing that is so sick is that FM was only ever really effective with third spec in BG, but even there it was necessary to take down endless protect classes like warden and destro. For effectiveness in pve and things like ToI, it never did very well. Despite 6 months of soul/heart/weapon/ss upgrades, my DPS is lower than it was 6 months ago. I dont really like to play alts, and this constant barage of nerfs has really made me question staying with this game. Dont get me wrong, I want balance as much as the next guy, but I feel like my time and effort to improve my dps has been stolen. Now my class is nerfed to hell, AND I have given up on pvp anyway because it takes twenty minutes just to queue for a BG match. There was so so so much more that needed to get fixed in BG before a FM nerf.
  6. [SOLVED] - GPU load drops to 0% randomly | Tom's Hardware Forum (tomshardware.com) Have you tried?
  7. This is how FMs feel. This is how non FMs feel.
  8. Removing sheath was a nerf for everyone. The real problem is this company's idea of balance is some classes on top and some on bottom, instead of making all the classes equal. They also fail to follow traditional norms of classes. A class like FM should be a glass canon. Now we have no defense and no offense, comparatively speaking. Compare that to certain melee classes that have endless defense and huge dps. FM just makes no sense at the moment.
  9. Imagine crushing a class because it was too strong in pvp, which is dead anyway. The changes to FM make no sense, and switching from light to fire for a little extra dps is just maddening. I am supposed to re-grind fury shields and amulets already? I have people a grade of gear below me at half my level badges and 4 levels lower out-dpsing me now. I can live just fine without sheath, but it kinda was the cornerstone of the class. WTF? There are times where every class need a split second protect, and without sheath and needing three orbs for strobe, the class is now a sitting duck. Poorly handled NC.
  10. huh? did i miss something?
  11. Not implementing anti-cheat measure with the rollout of UE4 was a HUGE fail. Lots of people came back to play, and for the most part I am extremely happy with the performance of UE4. It would have been the perfect time to buckle down on the rules. The longer they wait to fix it and start banning, the more people will turn to cheats. I am quite sure more people have left because of the cheating than have stayed because they can get away with it.
  12. I am going to add a voice of support as well. Please add the anti-cheat features asap. Sucks for pvp to be zero fun because of cheaters.

    Sheath

Not me man, I am happy to see sheath go. Now I don't have to listen to idiots in 6s crying for sheath because they play stupid af. What I do think is stupid, though, is requiring three orbs to be up before strobe can be used.
  14. I think they key distinction here is whether you consider this game a competition or not. I for one do. I used to like to PVP, where clearly it is a competition. But in all honesty, the dps rivalry is what fuels the entire game. If everyone was happy with where they are at, there would never be a need for new items. If you want to do top tier dungeons, then people won't even take you if your gear isnt at a certain level. So this is a matter of exclusion if you can't keep up. BNS has always been a grindy game, and some people actually enjoy that. But when a person spends hundreds of hours to obtain what someone else contains in one minute with a swipe, how is that not unfair? I suppose you can call it jealousy, but I wonder if you apply that philosophy to every other area of life. Should everyone just get what they want immediately because they have the money for it? The reality is, if the game is fun people will play it because its fun. There are a myriad of ways a company can make money short of giving player advantages over others thru swiping.
  15. FWIW, I completely agree with the OP. This game turns on how much you spend and how much you cheat rather than how much you play, and that aint right. Because of the way they do it, anyone can be endgame in a few weeks. I've always said the most effective way to advance in this game is not to play.
  16. PVP has just become too laden with imbalance and cheats to be fun. I pretty much stopped 4-5 months ago. It certainly wouldn't be hard to fix, but it gets ignored. Half the problem is, why should I pvp when I need to pve like crazy to get the pvp gear? It's all broken imo
  17. NA- Krunti cant get in. server error
  18. Clan Battle is also in complete shambles. Real fun when you pull a high ranked team and they won't even jump down to fight for fear they may lose rank. Seriously, what kind of game allows this kind of blatant abuse? I sent in a ticket with screenshot, and so far it has been completely ignored. Remember when games actually cared enough to have online GMs? I'll never play another Nc game.
  19. Aside from the cheats, PVP is not fundamentally broken. There is *relative* class balance assuming you are equally geared. IMO the real problem is that pvp is not attractive enough for a lot of people to play. This means lowbies get stuck with third speck summs and fm's. Matchmaking can't work if enough people of similar gear aren't playing. Third specs are generally a joke and it was a crime not to introduce third spec for all classes at the same time. With that said, I do agree that it is ridiculous to obtain pvp gear from pve dungeons. However, with a dwindling player base I am not sure there is another option. I just don't think there are enough dedicated pvp players left in BnS. If the casual pvprs can only gear up by dedicated pvp, I doubt they will play at all. Where BnS really screwed up is by allowing such a huge disparity in gear. PVP gear upgrades should be yearly at best. A skillful player has little chance against a geared player. And a skillful geared player is nothing short of unkillable by the average pvpr. That's just not a fun scenario.
  20. I simply can't imagine spending 10-20K on this game and then having the gall to come onto this site and complain about P2W and RNG. YOU sir are the problem. NC is just milking you to the detriment of the rest of us. YOU know, I know it, they know it. You are addicted, at our expense.
  21. This is just so lol. You didnt learn after the first few hundred? Don't tell me the next 700 just weren't worth it because you didnt get a 3star crit.
  22. BNS has changed a lot over the last 4-5 years, and not for the better imo. When I first started playing BNS, I found I could play at my own pace and found that the rewards were satisfying for the amount of play time I put in. It was a game where I could play at my leisure without it controlling my life. I very much liked the idea of one weapon that you could upgrade from rewards you received while simply playing. When the game first started, it didn't affect me too much that other people were higher level or more powerful. Their power didn't affect my gaming experience. Somewhere along the line BNS totally changed. Raids were introduced which can and did make and break clans that were put together and people became friends. If your friends (or you!) weren't geared enough to keep up, they were soon discarded. The game became a race. The company capitalized on the race by an ever increasing cash shop and cash related events. Very quickly, if you didnt keep up with the Jones' you were shunned from raids, dungeons, and even clans. In order to keep up you had to run multiple raids, multiple alts, meet timed dungeons, etc etc. Then of course the time that was consumed running fairly mindless weeklies, not to mention mundane mon thly events. And if you thought this was bad, don't even look at what was necessary to keep up with pvp. Shortly, BNS is going to dump too much on us at once. The whales will gooble everything up as greedily as they can, and the whole boring routine will start over again. The majority of players that are just trying to keep up will be outdated in a week. This whole process has already completely destroyed PVP, which I once found highly entertaining. Now, you are a whale or you are not. It's as simple as that. The players even created discord groups where if your dick isn't big enough, you can't even get on. The long and short of it is, the casual players have had enough, and most have left. After playing since launch myself, I am finding the treadmill just a little too tedious. When the warm weather comes, I am afraid this game just won't have enough of the reasons that I originally started playing left.
