Underwhelming Special Reward from Trove

Bought roughly 300+ Keys and over half of my crit trove giving not useful items

these are supposed to be "special" 5 transformation stones shouldn't be among it with addition to other crappy stuffs you can get in the non-special chest

Don't take what he says seriously. Most people troll when it comes to Trove saying you gotta buy 500 or 1k to see anything good.

60 keys so far, only 2 crits (including the guaranteed one). ;)

Useless items in the first one with an oufit (lol), and a couple of Obsidians in the second one (which could be considered a good crit).

A lot of clan members got a crit every 5-10 keys.... XD

NCoins keys > Hongmoon coins keys I guess, but bad RNG is bad :P

I know what a crit sound like, and these didnt came with crit-worthy item. I opened trove with my clan-mates. A 5 transformation stone or a forging orb is not equivalent to a sacred oil or premium transformation stone that my friends be getting.

Oh wow, those are crits? Elysians, moonstones, soulstones, exp charms, sts, msp flowers... whut? Thought crits were supposed to give just the best stuffs from the trove, that's trash...

So you gotta be lucky first to get a crit and then again for the crit to give you something good?

 

If you compare this to a casino it's like you spin a wheel and land on a special prize spot but then they roll another one from all the things that you could win, not only among the special prizes and you get shit. You complain ofc. If it's a special thing the prizes should be the ones that are special and just roll those.

Other people sometimes troll a step further saying they got a specific item at say, 4th roll, 10th roll, 20th roll etc when some of em know damn well it took em over 200 to 300 keys lol. This encourages some people they falsely brag to, to spend more than they would on keys and when they do and realise they didnt get gud rolls at 40+, 50+, 100+ keys deep, they fall into what's known as the gambler's fallacy which pushes them to continue buying more keys hoping for crits. When they dont get the amount and quality of crits they hoped for, they get extremely tilted. When this happens, the troll has done what they set out to do and succeeded. People shouldn't be that person who takes the low quality bait.

How is it trolling when its true?  Look at how bad the trove RNG is.  Gotta increase the sample size dude.  1000 keys or go home.

Everyone has different experiences but to say you need to do 500+ keys to get anything good is a bit out there.

i have bought 200 keys total and i have gotten 1 hexagonal obsidian and one hexa or hepta normal gem every 100 keys.

don't know if i should be called lucky, but even if you can't buy any troves this event there are other ways to profit from this event.

if you know the effect this event has on certain items in the marketplace you can guarantee 200% profit in the long run.

I won't say specifically what items you can profit from even though i think most people know them already, but there are multiple ones you can invest in. i have invested 1k gold into something i know evntually will be worth 3k gold.

That is some pretty bad rng.  I used 550 keys and got lots of great crits.  I got enough oils to get my true soul, 3 hexagonal obsidian gems and the radiant energies to transmute them to heptagonal, the raven king souls and premium stones I needed to go from raven 4 to raven 7, a hepta diamond and a hepta ruby, a raven kings ferocity for my gunner, a couple yura hairs, plus enough extra sellable mats that I ended up with more gold after buying the drops from my crits than I had before.  I also got the octo gem crit that had an octa diamond and an octa amethyst but I picked oils since a soul upgrade was a bigger dps boost than a few more AP.  Overall this trove had better items than any of the previous and I didn't feel like I wasted any of my money.

I've used 300 same as op and honestly that was exactly what I got. Though mine might have been worse because I've only gotten one obsidian gem. Rest of crits was like op showed. The best I've gotten was one oil, 48 ap diamond (didn't have that), and 2x hepta aquamarine and 2x premium trans stone. And that's pretty much it, rest is some outfits and lots of elements.
I'm not exactly complaining because I'm aware that my RNG is worse than shitty.. But it sometimes makes me sad hearing how my friends open 100 or 200 keys and get much better rolls than I do. Out of 4 people opening trove same time 3 got octa diamond crit with half of keys I have used. Guess who was the forth one...

Bad rng does happen to everyone.  On winter trove I kept buying keys trying to get pure white seductress.  I initially bought 200 with Ncoin hoping to get lucky and when I failed to get it in those 200 I sold all the mats I got from those first 200 to get gold to buy keys from other players.  I ended up using over 2000 keys and didn't see the outfit til I'd used over 1500.  After that I saw it 3 more times.
