Now sorry I haven't read up on this, but you need all the items for the achieve?

Months ago after using an Ocean Life Force for giggles, I noticed it gave a buff saying "You are ready to learn a Hongmoon Skill" or something to that effect, so I kept one in my bank assuming I'd need it later.

Do you need to consume all of them within a certain time period, or just each of them once?

You have to eat each of them once, and it only counts after the Silverfrost Patch I believe. We didn't have the achievement in game before so it wouldn't have counted if you consumed the ocean life force then. You can see the achievement by pressing "U" -> Character -> Skills.

All these items will be avaliable in the achievement vendor on Wednesday as well

Correction, except for Hongmoon Pellet. And yep they will probably cost 10 naryu silver each from Achievement NPC.

Are you sure the bulbari drop it? I've killed like 30 of them, nothing so far :(

Yea they do drop here, its just very rare. Remember you can buy them from the achievement vendor in Zaiwei for 10 Naryu Silver each.

7 months necro....but its still usefull :D       (if the thing still work this way)

Im the case i decide to start farmin those for my chars:

Anyone know if the items are tradeable (doubt it) or maybe account bound?

What is the respawn time of those mobs? Afew seconds/minutes, or it take forever?

Any idea how strong they are? AP required or so to have a chance at them without losing all day?

Thanks all in advance

Unfortunately the items is not account bound. How I wish this game would be more alt friendly...

The respawn is same as other mobs. By time you do a full circle of the field, they should have respawned.

My FM with 470ap can reliably kill the Bear, Bulbari and Thrasher without dying.  They dont use any high damage skills.

The Grassquatch and Fire/Ice Bird might need more AP/DPS to kill it at a faster rate.

The drop rate is truly abysmal. I got lucky on the Thrasher with first kill drop. Still need the Root and Honey, killed 50+ combined and still nothing.

Farming them around 500ap means you'll spend some time sitting on your butt for respawn.

Takes about 40s-1.5m or so to kill them off depending on your class / build / dps rotation I guess.

Achievement points required to buy them is 1250 I think.

All are easily farmable as long as you are familiar with their rotations.

The 'hujikar' thingies bite / grab when he lifts his head to the right etc.

The birds can be a bit annoying since they spawn close to each other. Try pull them to the road to avoid adds.

Really dont know if its better to try to farm them or to go mad trying to get the 1200+ achievement points....thats far far away even following some "guides" that show what to do to make it quick...thats not so quick anyway without hours and hours...

Buy a few Suspicious Contraband boxes from Dragon Express. Farm the rest when you're not willig to spend more Energy on dupes.

1200+ achievement points is easy to accomplish. It just takes a bit of time. Unless you want to unlock all the HM skills within a week after you created a new character OR gear up your alt with the golds/materials from your main character and skipping most of the quests (crafting, faction, etc), then it is hard.

You can get them from either jadestone village from the npc to the right of the notice board with bloodstone or in celestial basin with peaches.

You can buy those for Naryu Silver from the achievement vendor (requires 1250 points i think)
