WTFFAST IS BANNABLE

For everyone complaining about being banned then stating they use WTFFAST and nothing more. Here's a tip. WTFFAST is a third party program. The EULA states "Any use of third party programs could result in actions taken against the account" just throwing it out there for anyone that is still confused. I have never used it. But seen multiple reports on Twitch TV bout bans being used on Wtffast users

NCSoft has been unbanning players that have been flagged for using WTFast. Perform some research before you start spreading misinformation and scaremongering.

NCsoft has publicly stated that WTFast is NOT bannable. They just don't support it.

Find me the statement then. Cause I has two different homes on twitch tell me they were banned for it. My pings 30 and under so I don't need it. It would be nice but not if it's bannable

They have said that the anti-cheat might detect it and flag them for the ban, where then if you submit a ticket they will unban you.

[UPDATE]: An NCSOFT spokesperson has issued the following statement:
 
We are investigating the affected accounts and will update everyone involved in their support tickets. Our stance on VPN/WTFast is that we don't support it, however we don't ban accounts based on sole VPN usage even if players who use them do so at their own risks.

lol im not scouring the forums for the post written by an ncsoft employee. It was stated shortly after launch day. Do your own homework. it's not bannable.

  I am writing this to check if i can use WTfast to better my connection with BnS. All the forums i have checked do not give a for sure answer. i would like to use this but dont want to get banned for it.... Thank you and i await your reply

  VPN service is absolutely not supported in any way by NCSOFT. Though NCSOFT does not expressly prohibit the use of VPN services, we advise our customers to use them at their own risk. Please be aware that if you access the account from or attempt to add these proxies to your authorized IP list, the account may be blocked and subject to review especially if the proxy you use has a history of suspicious activity.
  
  You may wan't to reconsider this option as it may prove to be more of an inconvenience in the long run.

  well thank you for the information, it reduces my ping by 60% and with my low end machine that helps alot. im from the US and use a static IP so i shouldnt have any issues

But the point is important.  With a VPN, you are sharing IPs with people who might be using them for illegitimate purposes.  There is less risk of that with a static IP, and even with dynamic IPs assigned by your ISP.

The final verdict is still "it's not a bannable action".
(oh and you might not want to report the poor lad for spamming because forum is laggy right now, double/triple/quad posting are everywhere so...blame the forum for that part)

Fact is, BnS PvP is very ping dependent and contrary to outcries on forums etc. its not a NCSoft servers problem, since ping reducers help - therefore showing that the problem is on the route to the servers, which NCSoft cannot control.

LMFAO first of all wtfast is a scam. it does not do anything that is advertised. if it did. other companies would buy out the rights. second of all. the ceo messages its users in an attempt to buy your good review. it should be bannable. its a scam program that has no buisiness being used

Well... NCSoft COULD make/buy their own VPN service for BNS NA.

 

When BNS came out in china, it suffered from the same sorts of issues due to geographical distances and poor internet infrastructure.

What'd they do? They acknowledged the problem, and created (or adopted?) a vpn service specifically for BNS CN.

 

I honestly don't have high hopes for it becoming an E-sport in NA unless they do it.

Currently too many players are unable to play at the competitive level that would be required for it, due to latency issues.

WTFast has only been rumored as a "Scam" because of idiots using it from NA connecting to NA server which anyone with a brain know it won't do anything.

 

WTFast and other similar services works perfectly when you're connecting from a different region to another.

 

On topic, no, WTFast is not bannable and it was already mentioned by an NCSoft staff from a thread. I personally, have been using WTFast since the CBT and a lot of people as well.

I am aware of their reputation of doing that but that is none of my business nor it has to do with anything.

 

The program works great for me and others so that's all there is to it.
