  1. Ok, yeah, I farm it for cosmetics too. haha Take off your armor to deactivate soul shields, run close to the boss to let it aggro you before you kill it, preferably using your weakest attack. Doing this, I've avoiding bugging it.
  2. Are you perhaps talking about the insta-kill mechanics outside boss rooms? Most games use a wall to lock players in the boss room until the fight is over, but Blade and Soul uses fire walls. In some areas (i.e. many Moonwater Plains dungeons) this is instead an orb that will fire an insta-kill projectile if you try to leave the room. If you are running low level content (Bloodshade Harbor is particularly notorious for this) and you kill the boss in one shot, the game won't register the boss as dead and you will be stuck with the orb forever. The only way out is to restart the dungeon and kill the boss slower (i.e. take off your body clothes). If you're referring to something else...nevermind this post. haha BTW, the only non-raid dungeons with a daily lockout are Heaven's Mandate and Cold Storage.
  3. Yes, the Demonsbane are the ones with a 4 player limit. They have Stages, which are harder versions of the same place as you progress offering bigger rewards. These are ranked, which offer rewards at the end of each week and season (but that's really only for the whales to worry about). For Demonsbane like CSC & Grim Nexus, the Stage 1 is easily soloable if you just want a quick daily and don't care about loot or ranking.
  4. Chaos Supply Chain is a Demonsbane dungeon. In F8, if you look on the right side under the "Dungeon" and "Battleground" tags there are "Heroic" and "Demonsbane" tags. Click that to find CSC at the bottom of the list. You have to complete lower stages to unlock higher stages (the same dungeon but harder), so after Stage 1, you should have access to higher versions. HM 9 is pretty low, so keep completing your yellow quests if you haven't, and orange quests up to raid access. That will also unlock more dungeons (blue quest letters) if you still have some locked. Keep doing the Soul Boost content you can. If you play on NA server, no one recruits through F8. You will need to keep an eye on faction/world chat while on server and apply on people there. Eventually you'll unlock more stuff as you go along.
  5. I know after the UE4 update, I immediately disabled "Bloom" in Graphics -> Advanced Settings. I don't know if this might address your issue.
  6. Could you provide a screen shot of your screen or maybe of your Moonwater Plains map? I notice a lot of the YouTube guides that come up are extremely old and outdated and might be making it seem more complicated. Did you click on the Read Yura's Letter prompt in your quest log on the right side of your screen? If so, when your open your Moonwater Plains map, is there a Yellow Arrow on Mushin's Tower? Is this where clicking does not work? It's been many years since I've done this, so I can't remember exactly. If this is after you finish up in Greenhollow, you might have to actually use the Portal that spawns in the hut there for your first time teleporting.
  7. I was wondering about this as well. I hadn't noticed any swim suits in the shop, and I was hoping the event might provide the opportunity for cosmetics, at the very least a chance to get an old Beach Day for an alt or something.
  8. I actually farmed the Poh cosmetics a few months ago on a couple of my characters and I found the drop rate to be pretty decent. It's certainly way better than the Temptress/Seductress ones from Bloodshade. x.x I'd say it's somewhere around 1/10, maybe 1/20 at most (except for the cat items. that body piece is a myth!). Of course RNG is RNG so your results may differ, but it's a super easy run now at level 60 and I think easier than trying to get Arenas. It's weird that it's not at achievement vendor tho.
  9. Is there any chance your video card drivers might not be up to date?
  10. Did you watch the video of the quest walk-through that was linked above? It's possible you are skipping a step.
  11. Does anyone know: are our current Celestial Peaches going to roll over and still be usable to buy from the merchant after patch or do I need to spend them all now. I'm aware there's not much of use to buy either way, but I'd rather get something rather than nothing. Since peaches are a non-inventory item I wasn't sure whether they'd get the "antiqued" treatment.
  12. Have you looked around your map (M) for a Yellow arrow? Usually there is an NPC near where you left off who can teleport you back in so you can get back on track.
  13. Glad to see I'm not the only one still confused. I had completed past stage 41 on 7 characters and randomly received 3 Soulboost Compensation Bundles (containing 4 Empyrean Spirit Stones each) and 4 Premium Silversteel Support Chests (containing 1 PTS each). I have not removed them from my Received Items b/c I kept thinking more items would show up for the rest of the characters, but nothing. I've seen no announcement or explanation. I have no idea how they determined what they sent and to who.
  14. Have you finished the story? I thought they had added the GC3 weapon to the quest rewards. And you should get lots more free gear from there, even before taking advantage of the Soul Boost event.
  15. You should get a quest letter (J) that lets you unlock specs. I believe it is at lvl 60 HM 7.
  16. I'm not sure where this red screen is. As Belido mentioned, there should be recovery points. If you open your map is there a yellow quest arrow anywhere? Depending on where you got off the quest, it could be on the Iron Shadow, in Solak at the ship's crash site, or maybe in Zaiwei.
  17. Is it possible you missed a step? I watched a quest walk-through video here and you should finish talking with Bunyang by sleeping Soyun's side. Then a few steps later you go outside and teleport to Zaiwei together with the prisoner in tow (interact by using the F key NOT by manually teleporting thru the map). And talk to Bunyang later following events there. If this video doesn't help maybe you can link a screen shot?
  18. Under "Soul Arena," the patch notes said "The Special Character Frame displayed around the character's icon, in the Dungeon/Battleground Lobby, has now been removed," so I do not believe this is a bug. They'll prob add some new way to get portraits in the future. You need to accept the quest from Dojagi before doing the steps necessary to complete the quest. The NPC cannot retroactively give you credit for stuff you've already done. Just remember to accept "Six Years of Adventure" first thing when you log in each day, then do event, then turn in solo dungeon quest. You may have missed the boxes for today if you did it in the wrong order, but you will probably end up with more boxes than keys anyway so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I did the same thing day 1.
  19. Koldrak used to be a convenient way to get a fast, easy daily without waiting in LFP, but it's really become a crap-shoot with all the technical issues. I feel like the bare minimum they could do is add a couple of extra time slots. Maybe limit it to 3 runs per character per day if they're worried about devaluing Garnets. Not that extra times would fix the problem, but just that it would give players more opportunities to make up for NCSoft's failure. Edit: I see DyoxEvo made another thread suggesting expanding the queue time to 30 min instead of 10 and I think that could be a helpful addition as well.
  20. It's amazing how I have no confidence in NCSoft at all, yet they still manage to continually disappoint me.
  21. Until new story is added to the game. It will probably be a while.
  22. As far as event outfits go, many of them have been brought back and offered multiple times, but it is usually only after a couple years have passed. Old cosmetic loot boxes are also still available in exchange for Designer Threads at the Clothing Merchant in Mushin's Tower. Now, outfits gated behind (non-cosmetic) loot boxes rarely reappear. But it makes sense most people wouldn't appreciate wasting potentially hundreds of dollars on RNG only to see it directly available in the shop for $15 later on. x.x; In regards to the Founder's benefits, I don't think it'd be right to give the same item to newcomers, but I'd be open to a recolored/altered version. As I recall, I had the Founder's Pack for Tera Online back in the day and it came with a golden dragon weapon skin. Later they added a black dragon skin in the shop, and I felt that was a fair compromise so people could get a similar look while not completely erasing the benefit to Founders.
  23. I can confirm, Demon Slayer definitely still drops in Drowning Deeps. I just got it today. It was my character's 3rd run, but RNG is RNG; your luck may vary. It is pretty easy to solo with the gear these days, so farming is viable but use your time/luck as you see fit. Happy hunting! Edit: Also, in regard to the question of Divine [Grace] Stones, please do not waste your time or money fusing badges. You can get a Legendary Soul Badge Chest from the Dragon Express (2nd tab) for 30 Solar Energy. If you're playing 3rd spec Warlock, you can choose any. Then buy the Warrior's Soul Badge Essence Chest (from the 1st tab of Dragon Express), select the Exemplar Essence, and create the Exemplar Badge (at least that's the one I'm using atm).
  24. I've personally only seen the cosmetic selection boxes drop about five times total since UE4 launched (and I'm counting the accessory boxes), so I think the rate is pretty awful, not to mention you will have to outbid your party members for it instead of just soloing DD. But I agree that farming any outfit is only to be done if you have time to kill, and hoping for the box while already running relevant dailies is probably more practical than running old content. I'd only recommend farming DD to someone who already likes running past dungeons to collect old achievements, etc.
