  2. We want to thank everyone who gave their feedback on this thread. It's given us great information, from knowing what some of you like, dislike, or suggestions for improvements! As I said before, we're working on finalizing our ideas about potential changes and seeing what we can effectively implement for one of the next Treasure Troves. I'm closing this thread for now because I don't want to leave feedback threads open indefinitely. Please send your feedback in a new thread (or one recently created by a player) if you have some!
  3. This is not how things work behind the scenes. I'm not going to write a long post about game development (there are lots of articles online that would explain it better than I would) but things are a lot more complicated than players think. What you see inside the client window is the result of many (sometimes hundreds) different systems on the servers that each work in different ways (this is not an accurate representation but I'm just trying to explain how different the frontend and backend are). We cannot "reset stages" for Soul Boost for example.
  4. Let me set the expectations right: The "listening" and the "actions" parts are very different. Some of the feedback may be too hard to implement, or our team may think it won't lead to the expected results we'd like to see. Each player gives us feedback from their perspective (as you should!), but it does not mean that it works for the community. Even the community itself may be divided into various groups (I can already see the signs of this). Some actions require little work from a few people, while others involve many people and lengthy processes. It could be that a change is doable in a few weeks, while another one takes several months. Plus it's important to acknowledge that it could take some iteration, so the first change could lead to more. That being said, we very much to change the Treasure Trove for the better. But I understand that until you see change, these are just words!
  5. It took some work, but we think we've identified the two issues that caused an incorrect distribution of compensation rewards. As you can tell, processes like these require multiple people and systems. Without telling you how the sausage is made, it's just complicated, and we're sorry about these mistakes. We're now working on new compensations. Two of my colleagues are working on the steps needed to get you the missing rewards as soon as possible. We don't have an ETA yet, but I'll update this thread when we have a better idea. Thanks everyone for your continued feedback and your patience through this process!
  6. Just be aware that exclusive and limited editions outfits can't easily be part of a regular rotation, as it would make them lose that aspect and what makes them exclusive or limited. So please don't limit your feedback exclusively to those 🙂
  7. Thanks for your self-awareness and then sharing these words. I appreciate you posting about it and adding your feedback. To everyone who contributed here: we 100% heard you. All this feedback was compiled and analyzed. We are working on making changes to the Treasure Troves in the future. We're not sure when the changes will happen, but we'll let you know when we do!

  12. I'm acutely familiar with the time change (having relatives in Europe!). I'll be moving from CET to CEST with the next maintenance notes to be clear to all European players and I'll add a link so that people can do more time conversion. I know that the Blade & Soul community is global but it's hard to cover all the timezones!

  14. I have been working on an update for this topic since yesterday (after being on a break last week), but I need more information, so I can't say more until I have it. Please avoid bumping threads this way, as it's not conducive to good discussions. We don't collectively benefit from forum threads being bumped as it drowns the player's feedback.

  19. Hi everyone, We want to acknowledge this topic and let you know that we're working on addressing this issue. This will require various changes and we may be able to do some reasonably fast while others will take more time. We heard you and we want to make your experience more enjoyable, with an endgame progression curve less steep for gold income. I'll keep you updated about our progress on the changes we're bringing. I want to add that I kept an eye on that discussion for a while, trying to understand it in the context of Blade & Soul. Any MMO has a variety of systems and players that interact in complex ways and each MMO community handles this topic differently. Some players take their time enjoying the world and story, while others thrive in the endgame and many other player have profiles in between. Last but not least, please keep sending your feedback. Be as concise as you can be, which means no walls of text with lengthy explanations but also put as many details as needed for us to understand your feedback. I want to hear from all players, whatever your perspective, so please be respectful of other players as they may not have the same goals and viewpoint as you.

Given the extensive feedback I'm seeing, we won't be able to reply to your messages but you should know that they are noted (I literally copied everything into a feedback document 🙂 ).

  23. I started working on something like that, but it requires more work as I align the external-facing solution to our internal processes. The Known Issues I posted over the past few weeks were my first attempt to share helpful information. Yes, it's far from complete, but it helps players know some of the things we're monitoring (there are more than the list I share). It's not easy to reconcile the public AND internal aspects, especially with months of posts/bugs before the time I joined the Blade & Soul team. Oh, and just so that nobody is surprised: I'm taking a break next week, so you won't see interactions on the forums. That being said, please behave (our moderators will keep an eye on discussions) and do continue to report bugs and share your feedback about all aspects of the game!
