so true, ToI is basically nothing else then a DPS/Gear check. I guess players are just being fooled by NPCs talking about skills and training

No he is not. There are also some limits by law. Many people think they can just do what they want if they write it in their ToS (or for German, the AGB), but at least for Germany there are quite some limits by law (German: BGB). Just to keep in mind, personally I don't think any law in harmed atm though.

FTH ist der Fault Tolerant Heap von Windows, wenn Programme Probleme haben oder Crashen, versucht das diese eben am laufen zu halten, was aber ggf. die viel Performance kostet. Hatte ich bisweilen zweimal, das Spiel hat net sauber beendet und beim nächsten start war Dungeon ein Daumenkino... falls du es Probieren willst, es sind 2 Schritte: 1. um den Fault Tolerant Heap zu dekatieren setze mit Regedit: REG\_DWORD value **HKLM\\Software\\Microsoft\\FTH\\Enabled** auf 0 (Vorsicht bei Editieren der Registry, sollte es am Ende nix bringen den Wert besser wieder auf 1 setzen) 2. Löschen der bestehenden FTH Liste, durch ausführen des folgenden Befehls in der Eingabeaufforderung mit Admin Rechten (ja es muss eine Konsole mit Admin Rechten sein, (Rechtsklick auf Konsole Icon und "als Administrator ausführen"): Rundll32.exe fthsvc.dll,FthSysprepSpecialize

also als meine GPU nur Teilzeit gearbeitet hat (und das war damals noch ne olle Radeon R9 290) war ich zuvor so schlau wegen der Desktopdarstellung am folgender Einstellung zu schrauben(Win10): ->Anzeigeeinstellungen->Skalierung und Anordnung --->Größe von Text, Apps und anderen Elementen -----> hatte ich von 100% auf 150% gestellt beim Wechsel von Full HD zu WQXGA und es war Gift für die Performance, FPS Einbrüche während die GPU gelangweilt war, es legte sich dann wieder als ich zurück auf 100% bin. PS: evtl auch checken ob deaktivieren und flushen des FTH was bringt.

Well if your GPU usage seems too low, it might be a mess with your Windows 10 settings! Within Windows Display settings you can use "Scale and layout" to change the size of text, apps and other Items (ie. BNS). It should be at 100% and nothing else! I had it at 150% for a while when changing screen resolution, as I changed system as well it took me a while to find out, I had random performance issues and stutters while the GPU only had less then 50% load (and that with a Radeon R9 290)...as soon I changed that back to 100% all stutters been gone and GPU was able get load up to 100% again.

as it was brought up again, from personal experience (not from reading smart test reports) I had a FPS improvement from something like 33-50% while goin from Core i5 3570k@4GHz (16GB DDR3) to a regular clocked Ryzen 7 2700x (16GB DDR4), both with a Radeon R9 290. Ofc this is no exact benchmark test as the MB of my Core i5 died unplanned...
