Some ideas

With raids being reduced to 12 people after gunner patch, I started to wonder.. whats next. It would be nice if they changed party system. What about dungeons being 4 man normal and hard instead 6 and raids being reduced to 8. Max party size 8 be 4 people instead 6.

Other idea would be challenge mode for dungeons. Solo. Once/day. You could earn bronze silver or gold chest piece after completing dungeon. After completing challenge you will get a key Once you get 10 pieces ( all 10 dungeons except daily ones) you can assemble the chest. Higher grade chest better rewards and higher chance to get in example xanos disc or forging orb. Things which chest would give 100%:

Bronze:

10 gold

1x 100k exp charm

1x Fortune healing potion

 

Silver

30gold

3× 100k exp charm

1x heroic friendship charm

3x Fortune healing potion

 

Gold 

100 gold

1x 1million exp charm

3x heroic friendship charm

1x Bruiser charm

10x Fortune healing 

 

P.S in challenge mode you wouldn't need to defend all 3 camps in necropolis at once. Once you activate core demons would stop attacking it.

No, this is a bad idea. P2W players with full raven gears and soul can solo "Gold" level dungeons everyday and they can become so rich that they don't even need to spend any real money into this game anymore. 

 

Also, the players (new or poor) will have harder time to find party in F8 because all the raven gears or close to raven gears will try to solo dungeons like you proposed. There will be no team work involved anymore. In this game, they try to get people together to run dungeons instead of solo-ing. That's why they removed 4m mode.

 

The reason why they change 24m raid to 12m raid because it is always difficult to get all 24 people online at the same time. Even they get online at the same time, some people may need to afk to do stuff in real life once in a while. Thus, dragging other people down from finishing the run.

Well clearing solo foundry and solo yeti is huge difference in terms of skill and gear. Also to get gold you'd need to clear it fast. In example to kill arcrimor in 5 minutes or less (foundry fast track). Rewards in boxes like everything inside boxes would be character/account bound so not possible to sell anything that dropped. Only wealth they'd gain is 100 gold,but that's nothing for rich people. They can just pay cash and thousands of gold each day...

Another thing: you can get box only getting 10 pieces of same type. If you do 8 dungeons gold but last  2 silver you aren't getting any box.

A very bad idea, you would just promote elites even more... I don't care as much since I have enough ap to go with them, but I think it would be a bad idea since you will really see people be a lot more strict even for 10 ap.

To do it fast = more ap = gold.

How about no... you would be making them rich and you would be making the low ap guys feel small and that would lead to a lot of problems.

Okay. But how can you do mechanic on the bosses that requires several people like DT's last boss? EC's last boss needs stealth? Foundry last boss needs drive? Sanctum's boss needs 2 markers?

 

That's a lot of work to revamp all dungeons to be solo-able. I don't even think they have time to do it. Even if they agree to do it, it will be on KR test server first, which would take at least more than a year before it comes here.

Are you talking about the currency exchange, which is a feature of the game and completely legal. Or are you talking about some thing else?

No, they are hardcore farmer. They are the ones who usually get the new item in the first couple days after new content released. Like the legendary bracelet, black gems, legendary fused badge, etc. This stuff can't be bought even if you have millions of golds. They still have to run the dungeon and IF it drops, then they can out-bid other people with their golds.

I'm waiting for the game that starts at max level, has no weapon or armor upgrading, and no dungeon rewards.  No trash mobs in dungeons either.

 

Instead, you get rewarded for amount of active time spent grouped with others.  You will have free unlimited wardrobe storage, and at launch, literally hundreds of costume pieces will be on sale for 50 American cents each.  The reward for actively helping others will count towards being able to buy more costume pieces and accessories.

 

So people will group to do dungeons for the fun of it and not race through it.

 

Oh. and you get banana and star stickers for helping noobs.  Think about it.  Trolls will be completely nonexistent.  They will be sooo allergic to this game.  And the forums will be the nicest too.

Although you couldn't start at max level, City of Heroes system for costumes was much better than B&S, you were rewarded for subscribing and playing by getting more stuff(nothing that made you much more powerful, just fluff).

 

People teamed for fun, the costume options were immense, people wanted to help, the forums were filled with guides, there was no pay to win, which is why NCSoft Cancelled it and have held on to the IP ever since! 

 

I'm still annoyed with NCSoft over CoX, and will always be. :D
