I wonder about that... Even players in Asian servers uses copyrighted, offensive and pornographic images as their profile pictures, aren't those illegal? I've also seen some people with middle fingering gif, Guy riding a motor that looks like a naked woman and so on, so why didn't they altered it like NA/EU did??

so you sit there and assume that no one from the EU servers gets their rocks off from hentai, porn or whatever the hell people get off to these days. You are so ignorant that it isn't even funny, Same could be said for the other countries. Also, different country have different rules. Even before the character upload fiasco, BNS content was turned down in terms of certain outfits that revealed too much or were too sexy (idk). Almost anything, NA turns down the quality on these things, even if the game is rated M. THis type of situation didnt just happen here, it's happened on a lot of other games as well. Maybe they're more lenient about it over there but here, you have to live by their rules and their rule is that they don't want a *cricket*ing lawsuit. All of those pictures are just lawsuits waiting to happen. Why? Kid's also play this game. Kid sees nazi symbol on game and oh no, my kid is learning about nazi, where did he learn that. BNS? it's time to send them a strongly worded letter and my lawyers number.

Simple, they're much better publishers than NC. They'd rather moderate content and allow us players our fun rather than deciding they can't be arsed to do their jobs so they'll delete the content instead.

There was a limit on the file size you could use when you uploaded gifs. The limit was the same as for jpg's. Interestingly the size was about 1MB, but the ingame character portraits you take are only around 80-100kb, so they set it 10 to 12 times higher than it needed to be. It's like they actually wanted people to upload higher quality images xD

I'm pretty sure they are, since the main goal of trolls is in the end causing loads of grief and misery around them. Mind you I also feel NCSoft also is partially behind the blame on this since months of "fixing" and in the end they did nothing? It's like asking for the trolls and... how'd they say, "tech-savvy" people to go around finding the loopholes, since there are plenty of people like that in NA/EU when there's really no punishment happening to the people who do crappy stuff like this.

Always some antisocial units destroying everything they touch. it's actually very sad. probably nobody taught them how to function in a society.

NCSoft, you had years to prepare for this game. Years.

You knew exactly what you were in for, you knew exactly what you signed up with and you knew exactly what might happen. You are not allowed to act shocked or confused. You're not. Blade and soul is an old game-nothing here is new. You forfeit the right to act confused when you willingly take on a game as big as blade and soul was supposed to be. Supposed to, because as I'm sure you've already figured out, you've done quite a bit of damage as it is which has in turn costed you a lot of players hasnt it. You can't keep dropping the ball and then acting hurt-you can't keep doing these self-inflicted fouls and then wanting another free shot. It doesn't work like that. You had years. You had years.

 

This is not NA or EU's responsibility or fault. It is yours.

You are supposed to manage this, you are supposed to accept reports and take action against people one by one who break the rules. You are not supposed to punish everybody all at once. TW and KR also have people who use bad images. The difference between them and you is that they moderate that and you don't. You'd rather just blanket ban everyone at once for it instead of handling it case by case. You can't act poor. You're not, you're quite wealthy. You have more than enough money and more coming in with each event. Hire more staff. Cutting corners by making excuses as to why you cant just handle this by offender instead of labeling us all as offenders will cost you more in the end. Rely on foresight, not hindsight.

 

When it comes to Blade and Soul on a social level, there's almost nothing available to us.

We can't use the voice chat. We can't talk to message each other across servers-so why we can even add each other I have no idea since it's not like I can contact them to tell them when to queue up for something. The text size is still tiny, I can barely even say much. These forums here dont allow custom icons or signatures. and now you want to completely get rid of profile pictures. You want this to be a solo game entirely is what you are telling me. This is what you are causing and what you are telling me.

Why is it that the Korean version has such an open and nice way to share art and enjoy the community, signatures, icons, and in game as well they still can use custom images? Why do they have everything and we don't? Isn't this supposed to be exactly like the Korean version? Why is it that everything in relation to the community does not exist in our version? Do you think NA and EU are nothing but savages? Do you think that Asians can be excused, but as for us we're all filth who should be leashed and left with only scraps?

Because there's absolutely no reasons other than that for what's going on here. The Asian versions have these things. Yes there are people that abuse them there too, but they are handled case by case. For us though, we are banned from everything once even one person makes a mistake. Again. Either you are being racist toward us, implying that we are ALL savages who deserve not to have these things..or you are just cheap and do not want to "waste" the effort actually being GMs.

 

I don't want to hear even one more of your pathetic sorry excuses.
You don't get a pass, you don't get sympathy, and you don't get to play stupid. You shouldnt have picked up blade and soul if you were going to fumble it attempting to change everything about it, you should have let a company who was more confident in their abilities have it since clearly that is not you. The longer you take trying to think up excuses, the worse you look and the harder people will fight against you.

PS - To those on the forum that say this issue is nothing, every issue is nothing until it becomes something. and the more you keep telling others to shut up, the more they will and they'll just silently quit-and you can say "good!" if you want, but that forfeits your right to act confused about why the game is "dying" too.

Yeah... okay, let's get this straight. What was returned was not "highly sought after". What was returned is a big ol' steaming pile of crap and you're more than free to take it back.

 

 

Look at that. Even the North Koreans think NC policy is bull. The whole "illegal content" thing is a load and we all know it. If that were the problem we wouldn't have forums or a chat box either.
