THe event is similar to past ones we had that were more focused on PVP. This time around its focused on PVE. Now, while past events were "cheaper" overall, lets not forget we havea huge inflation of gold which naturally drove the gold prices for the box up (previously it was 10g, now its 100g) However ignoring that fact you need to keep in mind, you do not need to buy everything possible for the currency the box gives. Objectively speaking after opening quite a bit of chests: - you get a very decent amount of shimmering scales, I was actually very surprised by it. Its perfect if you want to avoid farming. - You also get quite a "fair" share of starcross crystals from just opening the boxes. Now for the pricing of the items: - Portrait chests....you can easily skip, they do not give you any significant increase to stats, plus, you need to get rng lucky to even get enough copies to register so as far as I am concerned they are a waste unless you do not need anything else. - Etching stones: same situation. If you need them use soulboost, since you can use it on 15 characters, you can easily get enough from there, also a waste to get - Psyches - "negligible". I See Psyches as a "nice to have" or "a little extra". While they all together will provide some small boost to dmg output, its not that significant. You can skip these or leave them for last. What IS worth getting: - Sacred Vials - Since NC essentially butchered and killed completely any decent way to get them. However, Considring the failure rate abovcve +11/+12 is quite horrendous, they may not be the best choice at that point. - Sterling Crystals - same as sacred vials, but are needed for heart upgrades, so I would first focus on these tbh. - Pet PAcks - Definetely get them if you still have upgrades on Pet and Talisman. In combination with the good number of shimmering scales you get from the boxes themselves this pairs well with them for upgrades. - Stigma crystals - I would leave them for last since you can only really use them at the last talisman stage. - Starcross crystal bundles - good if you wanna push your accessories to get that +11 minimum In general, while it is always nice to get everything, you also need to sometimes prioritise what to upgrade and kinda look in the long run. Gewtting something you know you wont need for another month or two would kinda be pointless to focus on at first, since surely there will be other events on the way. Now assuming people boosted more than 1 character on the account, lets count at least 3 alts + main that would be 4 characters. With dalies alone the bare minimum is 8k gold per day minimum, which is 80 boxes. So it is not that bad of a event imo, you will jsut need to hold off hoarding some gold for a while. Now, what personally I dislike about the event? The useless portrait chests or the other low-key items could have easily been replaced by for example premium transformation stones, soulstones and other raw materials. While even with limits it would still provide a decent flow of them into the market and potentially drive prices down. Since NC seems to be outright going out of their way to not give us any decent sources for them outside the wintrading and dead PVP.

One complain I have is Sterling Crystal x1 in a 3 star crit. There should be higher numbers of those. And I saw any Koldrak Scale x15 were replaced with Koldrak Scale x2.... Better to go back and chance x2 -> x15

I mean I do not mind its there because it is part of the content in the game, but its just annoying that the entire pass is around the bot zone. Every single task is Darkenwald.....

While I love the concept of battle passes in itself, I literally hate that the new one forces us to do a Zone which not everyone even likes doing (since its similar to the previous auto bot farm zones) instead of just playing as you like every day and complete it. So now either you skip this battle pas or spend money to complete it, if the new auto-farm zone is not to your taste. How about in the future you have battle passes have all sorts of activities in it and not just bot auto farming?

We know, its the little things that bring the joy and its a long standing tradition that they might be wrong or incomplete 😛 Though at this point we should be asking if the servers will come up 😛

The real question is will they come up correct 😄

The issue here is they are in the first tab, so they are already "unlocked", its jsut they will never count as completed if you do the quests prior to boosting the character. That is the issue here.

Weird....You can try contact support for it, but You should still be able to complete the entire soul boost without those.

They should count for the soulboost regardless and auto-complete once you boost the character.

The only workaround I can think off is either a VPN or one of the ping booster programs like WTFast or Exitlag or Pingzapper since they would re-route your connection and it should help. You could try them since I believe they all have a trial period.

By the sound of it, he is losing a lot of HP fast. Though he should definetely not be dying from it. First thing you need to remember, to recover HP, you need to be hitting / attaching something unless you have a skil lthat regenerates your HP or use potions. Some skills have a built in HP recovery per hit. Now to the list: 1. Hollows Heart - The small spiders inflict poison on your which drains HP. If you do not heal and get hit, you get more stacks, more stacks = more HP lost. The spider mini boss, will wipe you essentially if do not kill him fast since the mechanic needs 2 ppl. 2. Cathedra Cliffs - If you do not do the mechanic, the circles he places on the floor will drain a lot of your HP instantly. When he puts the circles, you walk through them and go to the feathers he shot that are stuck in the floor, they will fly back at him and prevent it 3. Cold Storage - KD/Stun the boss when the CC bar opens and avoid the little machines coming at you. 4. Heavens Mandate - The bosses hit a lot, avoid the floor aoe's, and stand in the safe zone on the second stage when she does the room aoe. The safe zone is at each of the 4 npc's that spawn. 5. Sandstorm Temple - First boss needs to be CC'ed when the bars open. Else you will get hit and your HP will go down. Second boss aswel, and avoid the aoe's and i do not remember if you can solo the mechanic on second boss, though i do not think so, then your only option is to survive. 6. Koldrak - there is nothing that drains your HP asside from getting hit. Do you maybe have graphics or effects turned down that you do not see the indicators? Because personally, something does not add up at all in what you are saying.

It will be in the shop, and quite expensive. Also keep in mind you wont be able to convert any skins etc if they do not exist for the given class.

Check dragon express there are also Exchanges for them (yellow for red, red for pink etc) aswel as exchanges for Silver Scales and Bloodstones, you can also exchange Draken. Helion etc cores for items and exchange those for scales.

Pretty much, what I cannot grasp is how do you make a post asking players what costumes they want to see, and then not bring in any of them.

You are mistaking things. The cosmetics in the 1 NC chest are not in the other RNG box. Those 1 NC box cosmetics were never purchasable by the box currency, only the RNG box outfits from the true box were and still are purchasable. The outfits in the 1NC box were always rng, you either get lucky or you do not. No other way to get it and there never was another way to get it. That being said, I personally would much prefer that the 1NC box gave a different kind of currency and if you buy the box X times throughout the event duration you can buy the costume from the 1NC box. That would eliminate the rng, but still make it fair.

You can complete the soul boost without the one dungeon.

Its pretty obvious they are trying ti milk money, thats why all the costumes they picked are main prize costumes from previous RNG boxes, which is a direct slap at those who spent money to get them in the first place.

That means the event period ended. If it is over there is no way to get them anymore.

Black Friday is Nov 25. So we will get the offers very likely next Wednesday. You can buy it regardless what level you are, you just wont be able to equip them until you level the character. Asside that it might come back but nothing is sure.

the real question is what will NC do to fix this oversight.
