  1. ToI got Venture tokens removed for lower ranks.. lower dungeon daily chests had venture tokens removed (even tho they have a droprate of like 0.5%) .. and now even the daily dash has them removed from the premium field.. its like almost impossible to get them now
  2. great.. I've got a great Idea for you.. if you want to reduce the flow of the venture tokens, just give every premium member 100 hm coins daily as a login bonus

Its not about the stuff being braindead (even tho the older dungeons should be), its about the time you could save with an actual "easymode", atm it takes the same time to complete the dungeons than before (with less rewards now), because the hp wasnt nerfed like they promised! And on the top of that the easy quests got removed from DC like basin toi and solo dungeons. So it takes longer now to complete the DC than it took us before. Thats why I want the modes from Korea, for people with less time an actual easymode with nerfed hp to solo it with almost no reward at the end, an normal mode with old rewards, and a hardmode with increased rewards. I dont understand the people who are against saving some time? just because you have more time to play the game than a person who can only play an hour or two? thats just silly. With the patch hitting today, it shows me that NCsoft is a liar, they promised it on stream that everything will be faster to clear and they are delivering NOTHING but a worse experience than before their Archer update. And they are communicating not at all about this manner!

  5. I didnt said that easymode isnt easy. Im saying its still harder than the old normal mode (for new players) while giving less rewards. They have hardmode mechs in easymode and the same hp as the old normal mode.. I dont see anything easy here .. the only thing they changed is the removed wipe mechs from most bosses, but doesnt change the fact that it is faster to clear now, it takes the same time and for new players even more time now because of the hardmode mechs in easymode with high damage. If it would be only because of me I wouldnt care because I can solo them easily but it was a slap in the face for newer players.. thats not how NCSoft is gonna make new players join the game! I can only agree on @Ryunosuke Takahashi last sentence.. we should just have gotten the same as Korea.. easy/normal/hard .. Its working great in Korea and most ppl do easymode there to complete the DC fast or they do hardmode because of the better rewards. I dont these people that are against an HP nerf.. just because they have more time to play they are against it? I would love to finish my dailys faster.. whats so bad in saving some time? If you want a challenge .. do hardmode. If ppl stop complaining in the forums they wont change anything.. they still need to fix DST 1st boss and HH's second boss in easymode too! They did nothing since 2 weeks, but cleaning up the mess. If we just would have gotten the KR modes, everything would be fine
  6. if they stick with moon refuge, they should at least make the quest auto accept and auto hand-in just like basin was.. even tho its always the same quest, its really stupid to always open the questletter and accept it over and over again. Also they need to add more relevant rewards to the npc.. VT soulshield is outdated, the npc should sell TT soulshields .. you can get a full TT soulshield in 1 weekend in MSP.. it should also be farmable solo in MR but it should take longer than MSP
  7. The promised HP nerfs on stream did not arrive yet.. any words from the devs about this? At the moment the dungeons/daily challenge takes longer than it took us back before the Archer update..

  9. @Cyan and I hope for all dungeons below TSM too.. its not fun getting less rewards while all dungeons got harder than before Storm of Arrows patch.. The dungeons all have hardmode mechanics now even tho they are named easymode.. they arent easy at all. Normal Mode was much easier than this

  14. #1 Thanks for your point of view on that one. #2 Thats why I want more modes.. not everyone likes to do these mechs and just wants to finish their quest. The Problem with Blade & Soul is that the mechs are nowhere explained in the game. Lets take TSM here as an example. I did this dungeon with my new Archer a few days ago and got the mark.. now what do I have to do? I went to the black puddle because it was the only visual thing that caught my attention.. I died. The game punishes you for trying to do it right, but doesnt explain how to do it right even in "easymode" (for exmaple with a message on screen "move next to the puddle" or something like that). I like to take FF14 as an example which is really noob friendly.. it has mechanics, but it explains it somehow while in the fight with better visuals. Since its not possible to communicate in B&S via voicechat with a random party... (thanks for that ncwest) since they took it off in our region, you have to look up for guides in the web before doing the dungeon. Most of the time the mechs are so complicated that you forget some things until you do the dungeon. Thats why I want the real "easymode" .. in addition to normal mode/hardmode. Or they should give us the damn ingame voice chat or better explain the mechs in the fights in easymode
  15. Hi, Since im not that good at english there might be a few incorrect words in here, but I guess you will understand it. I would like to give my opinion on the new patch "Storm of Arrows" and the 2 patches that came afterwards (1 will arrive next week) as feedback. I've been playing Blade & Soul since December 2012 (on the Korean server and switched to the EU server on EU release for better ping). I love this game and can not imagine ever stopping it, but the Patch Storm of Arrows has taken away my motivation to play because the progress is barely visible. I do not have much time to play because of my job and this patch is extremely against players with little time and against new players. But enough with it .. Let's start with my feedback: 1. Changes to the Daily Challenge The Daily Challenge is almost the most important element in Blade & Soul and has been badly damaged. However, with the patch on October 2, this will only partially be resolved. The rewards will be fine in the future, but the choice of dungeons under which we can choose is severely limited and some important content that made it easier to complete has been completely removed, such as: all PVP content, all solo dungeons, tower of infinity and Celestial Basin. -> My Desired Change: The rewards we receive on October 2nd are okay, but the above mentioned content should be added back to the Daily Challenge and maybe even more to choose from, so players with less time and weaker equipment have a chance to complete the Daily Challenge. 2. Changes to the dungeons This is my biggest problem with this patch. Dungeons are the most important element in Blade & Soul. Dungeons are essential to progress and should therefore be tackled by all types of players. With the change in Storm of Arrows we should get the easymode and the normal mode should have been removed. In addition, the HP should have be significantly reduced of the monsters in this dungeon to make the completion easier and faster. What we got, however, was the following. All Dungeons from Sandstorm Temple to at least the Starstone Mine are now with hardmode mechanics and have the HP of Normal Mode. This made the completion of these dungeons so many times harder than before in Normal mode. It seems we got a bugged version of the Korean build. Because in Korea it looks like this: All dungeons are in easy ; normal and hard-mode accessible and the normal and hardmode was not changed. The easymode in Korea also has veteran mode mechanics (but damage instead of wipe), but so significantly reduced HP that they can be mastered solo without any problems. However, completing easymode in Korea will reward you with far fewer rewards. This mode is actually for learning the mechanics and completing quests for people with little time or weaker equipment. Even though the last patch notes stated that our build is not comparable to that of Korea, I am convinced that we only got a bugged version of this build because there is a lot of proof (even the mode selection in the Dungeons proof it, see picture) In addition, in older dungeons such as Naryu Foundary the drops were removed, which makes it impossible to farm costumes, etc. This should also be resolved as soon as possible! -> My desired change: Our build should be the same as the Korean one with focus on the dungeon modes (see above) -> Alternative Change: Reduce the beginner mode, so it is like in the Korean build, but do not introduce a normal and hard-mode anymore for the older dungeons. -> Alternative Change 2: Roll back to the state as before the Patch Storm of Arrows (only in relation to the Dungeon difficulty level) 3. Cost and income The rewards for the quests as well as the material chests have been reduced, although the upgrade cost has not been reduced. Instead, more upgradable items have been added (weapon and pet). Less reward for harder dungeons makes absolutely no sense and should be changed back. Apart from that, the dungeon difficulty should be fixed first, then either the rewards should be raised again or the cost of all upgrades should be lowered. -> My desired change: Reduce costs for the upgrades of all items so that they are adjusted by the percentage of the new rewards. 4. Moonlight refuge instead of Celestial Basin The daily challenge ask you to collect 30 items from monsters that do not even have a 100% drop rate (more like 20-30% drop rate). This makes completing the Daily Challenge much harder than before. In addition, the merchant for moonshine buds has rather items on offer, which are hardly relevant anymore, and also way too expensive. The monsters in the moonshine refuge almost never drop a material chest compared to the Celestial Basin. At the end of the day.. it still makes more sense to farm in Celestial Basin. -> My desired change: Increasing the drop rate in the Moonlight Refuge for Quest items to 100% or reducing the required items to 10 instead of 30. In addition, material chests should drop there more often than in the Celestial Basin and the Merchant should be reworked to offer better equipment there (so everyone has the opportunity to get this kind of equipment, if you invest enough time). ___ Those were the things that I noticed most, but there are certainly many more problems that Storm of Arrows brought up. I also can not understand how some people here are happy again after the announcement for the patch on October 2nd, as it is still worse than before and no further announcement was made as to whether there are still things getting fixed in the future. In the current state it makes more sense to roll back to the state before the patch. Because even 2 weeks after the patch we still have a worse condition than before the patch. We should not be happy with these changes since they give us a worse experience than we had before. Like many other already said here.. making 5 steps backward and only 2 steps forward, does not fix the problem! As I said, I love this game, but I currently lack the motivation to play it if the game is so badly damaged. I hope you take these words serious and pass it on to the devs. Thank you very much for your attention A loyal but angry player!

True words. 100% Agreed - They made Daily Challenge 6 instead of 8 ya.. but the overall time needed to complete them is still way higher than before. - The Problem is that all these dungeons have normal mode HP and hardmode mechs, and they are named easy mode.. It might be easy sometimes but only if there is 1 or more character in the party that has far higher gear that is needed to do the dungeon. The bosses just get burst down and some are not even soloable anymore. In fact Easymode is way harder than the old Normal Mode was
  17. Außerdem wirkt das Forum im gegensatz zu Reddit eher tot. Leider spiegelt daher das Forum kaum die Meinung der Community wieder. Höchstens das Englische Forum ist seit Storm of Arrows ein wenig mehr belebt.. was aber an dem Mist liegt welcher mit diesem Patch eingeführt wurde ^^

  20. Hallo, ich möchte meine Meinung zu dem neuen Patch "Storm of Arrows" und den 2 folgenden Patches hier einmal als Feedback abgeben. Ich spiele Blade & Soul nun seit Dezember 2012 (auf dem Koreanischen Server und bin bei EU Release auf den EU Server gewechselt wegen dem besseren Ping). Ich liebe dieses Spiel und kann mir nicht vorstellen jemals damit aufzuhören, jedoch hat der Patch Storm of Arrows mir meine Motivation genommen überhaupt noch zu spielen, da der Fortschritt kaum noch sichtbar ist. Ich verfüge wegen meiner Berufstätigkeit nicht über viel Zeit zum spielen und dieser Patch richtet sich extrem gegen Spieler mit wenig Zeit und gegen neue Spieler. Aber genug damit.. fangen wir mal an: 1. Änderungen an der Täglichen Herausforderung Die Tägliche Herausforderung ist wohl fast das wichtigste Element in Blade&Soul und wurde stark beschädigt .Allerdings wird mit dem Patch am 2. Oktober dies auch nur teilweise wieder behoben. Die Belohnungen werden in Zukunft wieder in Ordnung sein, jedoch ist die Auswahl der Dungeons unter welchen wir wählen können stark eingeschränkt und einige wichtige Inhalte welche das Abschließen erleichtert haben wurden komplett entfernt, wie zb. alle PVP Inhalte, alle Solo Dungeons, Turm der Unendlichkeit und das Becken des Himmels. -> Meine gewünschte Änderung: die Belohnungen wie wir sie am 2. Oktober erhalten sind soweit in Ordnung, jedoch sollten die oben genannten Inhalte wieder zu der Tägliche Herausforderung hinzugefügt werden und sogar noch mehr zur Auswahl stehen, damit auch Spieler mit weniger Zeit und weniger starker Ausrüstung eine Möglichkeit haben die Tägliche Herausforderung abzuschließen. 2. Änderung an den Dungeons Mein wohl größtes Problem mit diesem Patch, da dies das wichtigste Element in Blade&Soul ist. Dungeons sind essentiell um einen Fortschritt zu erzielen und sollten daher auch für alle Arten von Spielern zu bewältigen sein. Mit der Änderung in Storm of Arrows sollten wir den Einsteiger Modus erhalten und der Normale Modus wurde entfernt. Außerdem sollte die HP von den Monstern in diesen Dungeon signifikant reduziert werden um das Abschließen so leichter und schneller zu ermöglichen. Was wir allerdings bekommen haben war folgendes. Alle Dungeons von Sandsturmtempel bis zu mindestens der Sternensteinmiene sind nun mit Mechaniken des Veteran Modus und haben die HP des Normal Modus. Dadurch wurde das abschließen dieser Dungeons um ein vielfaches schwerer als vorher im Normal Modus. Wir haben eine verbuggte Version des Koreanischen Builds bekommen. Denn in Korea sieht es folgendermaßen aus: Alle Dungeons sind in Einsteiger ; Normal und Veteran Modus zugänglich und dabei wurde der Normal und Veteran Modus nicht verändert. Der Einsteiger Modus in Korea hat ebenfalls Veteran Modus Mechaniken (allerdings Schaden statt Wipe) jedoch so signifikant reduzierte HP (kommt einem aus unseren Patch Notes bekannt vor) das diese sogar ohne Probleme schnell solo zu bewältigen sind. Das Abschließen vom Einsteiger Modus in Korea belohnt jedoch mit wesentlich weniger Belohnungen. Dieser Modus ist eigentlich zum lernen der Mechaniken und zum Abschließen von Quests für Leute mit wenig Zeit oder zu schlechter Ausrüstung. Auch wenn in den letzten Patch Notes drin stand das unser Build nicht mit dem von Korea zu vergleichen ist, bin ich davon überzeugt, das wir nur eine verbuggte Version dieses Builds bekommen haben, denn vieles spricht dafür (sogar die Auswahl des Modus, siehe Bild) Außerdem wurden in älteren Dungeons wie z.b. Naryuanische Gießeri die Drops entfernt, wodurch man nicht mehr in der Lage ist Kostüme, etc zu Farmen. Dies sollte ebenfalls schnellstmöglich behoben werden! -> Meine gewünschte Änderung: Unser Build sollte genauso sein wie der Koreanische im Bezug auf die Dungeons (siehe oben) -> Alternative Änderung: Den Einsteiger Modus zu reduzieren das er wie im Koreanischen Build ist, jedoch kein Normal und Veteran Modus mehr für die älteren Dungeons einführen. -> Alternative Änderung 2: Rollback auf den Stand wie vor dem Patch Storm of Arrows (Nur im Bezug auf den Dungeon Schwierigkeitsgrad) 3. Kosten und Einkommen Die Belohnungen für die Quests und auch die Materialtruhen wurden reduziert obwohl die Kosten für die Aufwertung nicht reduziert wurde. Stattdessen wurden mehr aufwertbare Items hinzugefügt (Waffe und Gefährtenstein). Weniger Belohnung für schwerere Dungeons macht nun absolut keinen Sinn und sollte wieder geändert werden. Davon abgesehen das die Dungeon Schwierigkeit erstmal behoben werden sollte, sollten danach entweder die Belohnungen wieder angehoben werden oder die Kosten für die Aufwertung gesenkt werden. -> Meine gewünschte Änderung: Kosten für die Aufwertung aller Items reduzieren sodass sie Prozentual an die neuen Belohnungen angeglichen werden. 4. Mondscheinzuflucht statt Becken des Himmels Die Tägliche Herausforderung sieht vor das man 30 Items dort von Monstern sammelt, welche nicht mal über eine 100% Droprate verfügen (eher ca. 20-30% Droprate). Dies macht das Abschließen der Tägliche Herausforderung viel schwerer als vorher. Außerdem hat der Händler für Mondscheinknospen eher Items im Angebot, welche kaum noch Relevanz finden, und auch viel zu teuer sind. Die Monster in der Mondscheinzuflucht lassen außerdem sogut wie nie eine Materialtruhe fallen im Gegensatz zum Becken des Himmels. Unterm Strich macht es immer noch mehr Sinn im Becken des Himmels zu Farmen. -> Meine gewünschte Änderung: Anheben der Droprate in der Mondscheinzuflucht für Questitem auf 100% oder reduzieren der benötigten Items auf 10 statt 30. Außerdem sollten Materialtruhen dort öfter fallen als im Becken des Himmels und der Händler sollte überarbeitet werden um dort bessere Ausrüstung anzubieten (gerne auch zu Höhrern Preisen, sodass jeder die Möglichkeit hat an diese Art von Ausrüstung zu kommen, sofern man genug Zeit investiert). ___ Das waren die Sachen welche mir am meisten aufgefallen sind, aber sicherlich gibt es noch viel mehr Probleme. Ich kann auch nicht verstehen wie manche Leute hier nach der Ankündigung für den 2. Oktober wieder Positiv sprechen können, da es immer noch schlechter ist als vorher und keine weitere Ankündigung gemacht wurde ob da noch irgendwelche Sachen Behoben werden. Im momentan Zustand macht es wohl mehr Sinn alles zurück zu rollen auf den Stand vor dem Patch. Denn selbst 2 Wochen nach dem Patch haben wir immer noch einen schlechteren Zustand als vor dem Patch. Wie gesagt liebe ich dieses Spiel, jedoch fehlt mir momentan die Motivation es zu spielen, wenn das Spiel so stark beschädigt wird. Ich hoffe Ihr nehmt euch diese Worte mal zu Herzen und reicht dies auch an die Devs weiter. Vielen Dank für eure Aufmerksamkeit Ein treuer jedoch verärgerter Spieler!
  21. Well cleaning up the mess only halfway.. what about the other dungeons?! Easymode .. thats a joke. ssm till sst are still named easymode but have hardmode mechanics. there is not reduced hp to the bosses so they are in fact alot harder than the old normal mode. A party of new players could not beat these dungeons, only if a whale is with them to burst it down. Im not really satisfied with this patch since the main change "dungeon modes" is still not fixed at all after this patch. A rollback would still be a better option than this new update we get!!!
  22. Or in short terms, you could say.. all dungeons have Normal Mode HP but the old Hardmode Mechanics. This needs to be fixed ASAP, because now everything is harder than before and giving alot less rewards. I would say.. give us the beginner mode from KR, the old normal mode and hardmode for DST and up and for TSM downwards beginner mode and normal mode
  23. Easy Mode still is Normal Mode with Hard Mode mechanics. Well somehow.. we got all 3 types of the dungeon.. fused in 1

  25. Easy Mode is NOT easier! The easy Mode dungeons have hard mode mechanics now.. take ssm boss for example. The Fire buff you get from killing an add now does dot damage to the player (and even the tooltip of the buff says that it does dot damage to the player in HARD MODE). FIX THE GAME!
