  1. So let me get this straight..you all are basically saying, that a video game, developed by NCSOFT, that has made them over 50 million dollars in profit this year just from the NA/EU region, despite the major loss of players this year, will not stop and think about why there sales are lower if the player base together, made there voices heard, by not backing the game? But rather instead, you keep giving them money, and just let the game continue to be in the state its in? Without your voice being heard?? This is where I start to lose hope for any change. The fighters are gone. The people that truly loved this game are gone. Because they understand that nothing will get through to the players still left supporting the game. Its like bringing a gift to your slave master, and your slave master takes it, and starts beating you over the head with it. But you continue to keep bringing them gifts. Honestly, that makes me want to give up to. I really don't know what to say. I implore all of you, who still may not be convinced to please do some research, and find out exactly the amount of money the NA/EU region makes NCSOFT. Rather than just listening to here say, and random people drawing their own conclusions about a company that makes billions of dollars in one quarter. Maybe if you understand how much there taking from you, and how little there putting back into the game, you would then understand how sad this is. To see players financially backing a game, that won't even acknowledge your concerns. Absolutely unbelievable...
  2. Some of you already know what I'm going to say. But let me clear, the only reason I am talking about this so much is because I really love this game and care about it. I don't want to see it fail, I want to see it succeed. With that being said, I'm going to try and make this as formal as possible so that I don't get banned. We are about to receive another major patch to Blade and Soul. Were getting some new content, a new spec, and some pretty good changes. But once again, we still haven't heard any news on some kind of performance update. I'll be honest with you, I am furious. I supported this game for a long time years ago, and I came back this year hoping to get back into action, only to find the game flipped upside down. Lets be honest with ourselves..The game is dead. Very dead. The dungeon lobby population is non existent. There's no way in the world for a new player to make decent progress on a day to day basis, faction chat is full of the same people talking to each other everyday, and of course we all know that PVP, one of Blade and Souls shining traits, is dead as well. There's a lot of reasons for this, some have been addressed, and some haven't. And I must say, I applaud NC-soft for some of the work they've done this year. Some of the changes they made this year are so good, I thought it was a joke, or some kind of limited time event, or I was missing all the details. But the fact that no one seems to bat an eye about this performance is really scary. I've done a little research for myself since the last major update, and there are a couple of things that I personally did not know. 1. The major stuttering and FPS issues we are having in the NA/EU region, are happening in every region. I did not know this. 2. NCsoft has not given an update, a response, or any acknowledgement of the fact that their game is not running properly to anyone. Not even the KR servers. In short, we still don't know what the future of the game is. There's been no talk of any performance patch, a solution, anything... This brings me to my final point, and this is where some people will get upset. It makes absolutely no logical sense at all in the world, to support a game financially that is not even acknowledging a game breaking issue that is causing the community, the player base, and the overall structure of the game itself to fall apart. Yes! I know! Even this year, they made mention in February that UE4 is planning to be released sometime in 2020. So from what we have been told, they are working on....something right? But here's my point. Any game developing company, small, or large, Triple A, or Indie, will keep you updated on the future of their games. Why? Because if you don't, people assume that there are no plans for the future. The only developers I can think of that just ghosted their audience were the developers of No Mans Sky. But they completely ghosted their audience. And for good reason. It's been 10 months since that producer letter has been released, and we haven't heard anything. Furthermore, not only have we not been given any update on what's being done for the performance of the game, but they have done multiple live streams this year, showcasing new content for the game, and every single stream, people have asked over and over about a performance update. And they have completely, 100% flat out, ignored the question. To add insult to injury, they completely gloss over the obvious question about the game, and answer questions from random people, that a lot of the time, are irrelevant to the vast majority of the players who view patch previews. That is a blatant sign of disrespect to the people that support you. Who spend hundreds of hours grinding and playing the game you created. Who spend hundreds of dollars a month on your game, because they enjoy your product and want to support you. But you are not concerned with their questions. What's my point? You know what my point is. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Please, for the love of this game, and it's future...You have-to-stop-financially-supporting-the-game. This is 100% the only legitimate language that these executives speak. Go on strike. Take some time off from the game, do something else. Not because you hate the game, or want the game to fail, but because you love the game, and you are trying to do everything in your power to get someone to pay attention to us. I'm not your dad, but if I were you, and you actually cared about this game, I would take what I said, and put it in the back your mind. P.S Your better off just buying gold from f9, and getting exactly what you want, than spamming treasure trove with keys hoping to get 1 item out of 1000. You heard me eh
  3. The reason it's not a wind stride, is because that same power is used to do a lot of other things. That same power was used by the eight masters to help assist removing dark chi from your character, along with their souls. It was also used during in the Twisted Grimhorn Wilds quest to purify some pillars or people, I don't remember exactly. It was used to heal Lusung at the end of the Skybreak Spire questline. Also used to heal Hae Mujin during the story or the Shattered Masts. You also randomly see it used a couple of times to wind stride far distances, or as a dragon pulse. It's not a 2nd wind stride, its just your character using their power. I might be wrong on this, but I think it's the same power Master Hong wields.
  4. No they should not remove any vials from the Daily Dash. But I believe that if you have farmed the items, you should be able to use them whenever you want. Locking the vials to 2 per week is just wrong. It's only done to give players more of an incentive to purchase vials by other means. Hell if your not premium you can't get them at all.
  5. That wouldn't be a bad idea. The people who do the streams right now aren't really suppose to be doing the streams. They should have dedicated community managers who's primary roles are to play the game consistently, and take feedback from players. That should include doing the live streams. That would be amazing.
  6. Yeah we just have to continue to block and report people until something is done. If I suspect someone of afking mid dungeon, I just leave.
  7. You had no reason to comment on this forum. If you can't do anything about it then don't reply to the post. That is so irritating. The only reason people call out afk leeches on the forums is because support is not doing anything about it.
  8. That's not a wind stride. That's a type of dragon pulse that our character uses at times. And its not a usable feature it's just in the story for cinematic purposes. So that doesn't count as wind striding.
  9. OK so lets use your logic. Based off of your logic, for the Hongmoon Arts to be the most powerful form of Martial arts, this means that the The Master of The Hongmoon Arts should not let anyone die, students, citizens, individuals, should not be subdued by various world ending threats, people, Mushin, Zulia, Lusung, Jinsoyun, etc etc, and should easily defeat anyone or anything that comes their way. Completely glossing over other various reasons for setbacks, like deceit, cheating, the dark arts, dark chi, unconceivable advantages, literal god like power, murder, stealing, martyr, ETC ETC ETC. Also completely glossing over the certain traits of the Hongmoon Master, honor compassion, selflessness, and willpower, which Hongmoon students are suppose to wear like a badge, and is one of the main reasons Master Hong did not sacrifice the now Master of the Hongmoon Arts to stop Jinsoyun originally in the first place! This is why your logic doesn't make any sense. First off your logic completely looks over the blatant fact that this is A VIDEO GAME! How are you suppose to keep creating more content for a game with a character that kicks everyones ass as soon as they lock eyes. But beyond that, your implying that the Master of The Hongmoon Arts should be 100% perfect. But that's simply not true. And that's the entire point of the game. As stupid as the story can be at times, our character, Cricket, wields immense power and can easily be considered the strongest being in the Earthen Realm. But the story shows that even when you have all the power in the world, failure can and will happen. It's not about striving to be perfect, its about learning from your mistakes and growing from it. We see this clearly, especially in act 3 and 4. Our character tries and fails, tries again and fails, but does eventually succeed because they learned to let go of revenge. And that revenge was directly tied to failure. Seeing your entire school fall apart, seeing your fellow class mates die, and your master, and feeling helpless. That's where the desire for revenge came from, and it almost killed our character. Beyond Act 4 we see our character fail multiple times. Losing Jinsoyun, having trouble being a master, struggling to save Jinsoyun, struggling to defeat Zulia, causing trouble in Valindria, losing their students, losing Ryu, and many other setbacks. But here stands the most powerful being in the earthen realm, a failure in your eyes. But where there is failure, there are also many victories. As of Act 11, the Earthen Realm is safe at the time. Who is responsible for this? The three sages? No, what have they done except teach and guide? One of four Guardians? No their all dead, except for Mushin. The New Masters? No. Jinsoyun? No. The eight masters? No. Dochun? No. Yunsung? No. Ogong? No. Who?! Who is responsible for the current safety of the earth?! The destruction of the Ebondrake? The defeats of countless evil? Who defeated Jinsoyun? Who defeated Hajoon?? Who saved the world?! Twice?! And more and likely 3 times?!! HUH?! Dont play with me man! Now heres my question to you. If the Hongmoon Arts are not the most powerful form of Martial Arts, what is????? And don't say the Dark Arts because the last time I checked, no being filled with Dark Chi has ever succeeded in taking over the Earthen Realm. I'm curious please explain
  10. Lol idky I am getting so deep into this but I guess I will. Lusung used to live with his mother, father, and older sister, Yujung in Sandstone Refuge and lived a relatively happy life. However, Dokdan(one of the three sages) mentions that he sensed some darkness within Lusung even before Colonel Yonkai murdered his family. He conspired with Jinsoyun long before the attack on Heavens Reach. It's explained in later dialogue throughout the game I just don't remember the exact explanation. He believed that he could get his hands upon the secret of the hongmoon hrts, but Jinsoyun approached him at some point, offering him even greater power through the dark arts. Seeing the school as being pathetic and useless in comparison to the power Jinsoyun promised, he assists her in bringing down the Hongmoon School. As far as the hongmoon arts not being powerful, LOL as of Act 11, Chapter 7, the hongmoon arts master(us) is literally the only person on the planet who can stop Mushin. Jiwan is dead, Hong is dead, Iksanun is dead, the eight masters are dead, everyone and anyone with the power to possibly stand to mushin is dead. The only person that can stop him is you. The last student of the hongmoon arts. It sounds like you haven't even gotten through Act 4. Have you seen the end of Act 4?? The showcase of the full power of the hongmoon arts at the Altar of Divine Will? How can you say the hongmoon arts aren't the most powerful marital arts in the game, when literally every world ending threat, Jinsoyun, Lusung, Zulia, Chol Mugo, that Dasari Princess chick, and whoever those mechanical beings are in IA have all been defeated by the Hongmoon arts? What a weird thing to say especially considering the game revolves around one martial tome..The Hongmoon Arts Tome??????????????????????
  11. Ok first of all your looking into this way too much lol. Second, technically no, its not the highest point in the world. Heaven's Reach is located in the south sea, about an hour or two out from the shores of Bamboo Village on the Viridian Coast. So your initial question was whether Heavens Reach was an island or an actual floating island. Heavens Reach is a floating island in the sky outside of the Viridian Coast. The reason being because Master Hong was very secretive about the Hongmoon arts. The techniques are very powerful, and he only wanted to share these arts with specific people he knew would use them only for good. That's why if you pay attention in the first few cut scenes of the game, Master Hong makes it clear that one cannot simply just show up to Heavens Reach and knock on the door. Lusung helped Jinsoyun, Yura, and Gubong get into heavens reach. Another testament to this is that there is no way to walk into heavens reach in game. The only way to get there is by dragon pulse. In short, its a floating island.
  12. In a producer letter earlier this year they said that they wanted to release UE4 sometime in 2020. But that was in February, and the pandemic hadn't really hit hard yet in South Korea. So I don't think we will be seeing it release until next year. I did not know this until recently, but every single region is having performance issues, just some more gradual than other. So this isn't just a NA EU thing. Which in a way gave me a sigh of relief because that means they have to be working on something.
  13. "Heavens" Reach? Hello? If you go to heavens reach you can clearly see there's absolutely nothing around because your in the sky..
  14. I don't know why they just can't add the transmutation back. People cant obtain the items anymore but at least let them use what they already rightfully earned.
  15. The point is, they need to increase the enrage timers. Those timers are the exact same from the original dungeons.
  16. I dont agree. The fact that they added solo dungeon farming to the game proves they are slowly starting to get it. if that was the case they would have never revamped the dungeons. I just feel that those enrage timers are insane.
  17. Your so right. 10 -12 mins at least! They change the Hp and damage but dont change the enrage timer. Cmon!
  18. I said this when the update was released and nobody backed me up! The enrage timers are wayyy too short! It needs to be longer! Obviously this is suppose to be difficult because were getting lots of access to items and gear that usually require more people to obtain. But those enrage timers to need to be raised so that people can at least complete the dungeons. It's ridiculous.
  19. I think you are both right. Penta gems are definitely not necessary on alt characters, I personally think that’s overkill. However, considering that the gems are bound to account, and it took you so much time effort and money COUGH, to get the gems, why not be able to use them on all alts? That gold fee is petty. Yes, it’s CONVENIENT, but it’s also petty. These little things here and there are what NCsoft should really consider canning. I’m not trying to be that guy, but there are plenty of MMOs that make way more revenue off of fair, acceptable, convenient pay to progress, than this companies, (give me every single gawd dam cent you have or you won’t have bag space, gold, gem slots, pet, crit, the ability to fast travel whenever, an enjoyable 6v6 experience, and you sure as hell won’t be able to change your weapon skins) pay to progress system. The point here is, yes, the gems are very powerful and they don’t want you just sending them to any character whenever you want, but it’s a little petty to throw that much gold on their mailing costs. You could make the argument that currently we make enough good every day to cover that cost to send over easy but that is also petty.
