Some information about Symphony of Destruction

Hi everyone,

 

I wanted to let you know about a few things as we prepare for Symphony of Destruction:

• The Patch Notes will be published tomorrow. They're long because the release has a lot of content and we had to spend more time than usual checking them.
• Due to a mistake when the content was planned, Ethereal Battlegrounds will not be part of that release. We're not sure yet if this content will be released later.
• The Windwalking Race will not be part of this release as previously announced but it will be released before the end of the year!
• The server maintenance is expected to last for 7 hours. The notice will be up later today.

yeah of course not when Korea delete it again.. and we will never seen it.. very good... makes no sense..

Honestly please @Green Stormdon't release Ethereal Battleground, PVP content is dead and flyhacks/speedhack will just make it for the cheat elites and PVP is dead content in the west, even in Korea the area wasn't fun being overwhelmed and unable to do anything while your being dominated to a point you can't come out of........

Not the first time.
We already got denied the good parts of the Celestial Basin rework, we had another PVP area denied prior to the ethereal battlegrounds aswell.

It is the first time a feature has been announced and then suddenly cancelled, though.

same, with the current hacks around us we don't need another place thats only available for cheaters

At this point NC should just add those same "features" to the game and make it equal opportunity, since they don't seem to be fixing anticheat (and considering how long it's been, not very optimistic overall). Constant stagnation is not good for anyone.

The Ethereal Battlegrounds would have never worked in this region to begin with because one of the factions in the two regions is pretty much non-existent. There are very few active players on the other side. I was really wondering how the West team would release this type of content for us given that faction imbalance has always been a huge issue since the launch of the game and it's at its definite worst state in 2022.

 

With the state of the game in the West, some content just can't work for our two regions. That's not to say pvp should be scrapped altogether but specifically faction and clan pvp are the wrong ways to bring it back. I will feel the same way when you may eventually announce the clan pvp raid KR implemented. That's gonna be a crap show for sure if released here. It isn't going to work imo. These are ambitious ideas that the game can't support in its current state.

 

Before you release the Windwalk race, the developers should patch out certain external exploits. You were able to patch out a certain one recently. It's sad our region needs to be babysat like children in comparison to KR but just like cyber security, the game needs active maintenance when new vulnerabilities eventually get released again by the same group of people.

Wow still no patch notes. I suspect some details in there are going to flood the forum with disappointed players. As happened before when the patch notes were posted after the game maintenance started. Hope not tho.

Releasing ethereal battlegrounds could've been a way to kinda revive pvp, wich is already completely dead on eu/na cause they removed all rewards.

oh, let's not forget about shackled isles, removed without any reason.

also, flyhacks/speedhacks, your "elite cheats", are EXCLUSIVELY used on PVE.

there are 10+ better MMORPG than bns for pve, with better playerbase, no p2w, better performance,  the only good thing this game had was pvp, but they totally killed it by removing all kind of reward.

@Green StormArcher, The patch notes says nothing about Archer DMG buff from Soul Shields, is it included but not mentioned?

The Skill Changes section of the Patch Notes is incomplete, and I hope to publish the rest of it this week.
