Splitting a already small community in half is going to kill it. Also NCWest does not exist anymore, all of their employees were terminated months ago. Only NCSoft matters. I also never said NCWest once in my post either.

With Blade and Soul NEO Classic announced, two questions comes to mind: why? And are you intentionally trying to finish Blade and Soul off in NA/EU at this point? It explains why we have been basically ignored for months now...the intention is clear. NCSoft intends to focus all resources into NEO Classic, and will likely shut down NA/EU shortly after or before the release so we all go there, and we all pay for what we lost all over again. This game could have been good. I hope for a server and client source code leak from disgruntled employees so the fans can continue things on, done right. A majority of the upper staff of NCSoft need to be terminated with cause, and barred from the gaming industry for life under threat of arrest for intentional sabotage.

At any other company, these employees would be terminated with cause, and possibly even blacklisted from the industry.

The fact we have not gotten a response from staff indicates they are planning to abandon and shut down the game in the near future.

In EU, they work and NCSoft only looks at EU. I wouldn't be surprised if they shut NA down in the near future given how much they ignore it.

It's not a mistake, NCSoft has long hated us having HMC. It doesn't exist in KR, so I imagine they'll eventually announce the full removal of HMC. Followed by an announcement of a game shut down.

You stated they somehow 'lost ownership' which is proven false when they literally own the company that made it. Even if they're not listed as the publisher anymore (though that is the only source that indicates as such, other sources say they're still the publisher). And not even a comparable situation either: NCSoft has always fully owned Blade and Soul as developer and publisher.

They've...never lost ownership of Guild Wars 2? They've just been more hands off with Arenanet, but they still own Arenanet and are the publisher of GW2 since 2012.

It has been 24 hours, and NC America has failed to respond. As such, I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and encourage all players to do the same. In addition, I have named IDontHaveARealName as a potential employee that is defending the fraud at hand.

Wouldn't be a class action lawsuit, nor are those terms used in my post. If NC America is doing something illegal, the government would be taking action against them.

The cringe is NC America and by extension NCSoft defrauding its player base.

Earlier today, it was promised to us that we would get a Burning Devotion Chest for free to compensate for the reset of Daily Dash progression. Just because you've deleted the post GM Rownen does not mean we didn't see it, or that it magically invalidates it. NC America has 24 hours to respond for why they have reneged on this, or it will be considered false advertisement, bait and switch tactics, and other actions to be determined by a investigation into the company.

Yeah, they made a mistake firing all every single NCWest employee, including the only active Community Manager we ever had.

In the case of Skysong you'd still need the same overall DPS, so no real benefit is gained on that front. It's not like it magically enables them to do Stage 20.

They won't do that, HeeKyo. NC America (formally NCWest) has no authority over the games assigned to it by NCSoft in KR. They also have no developers on staff at all: all changes to the game are ONLY done in KR. Honestly, we don't want NA specific changes like that either, it'll make it impossible for us to prepare in advance using news from other regions (mostly RU, as there's no changes between their version and ours except language).

At any other company, refusing to do ones job leads to a swift termination...or possibly legal action for defrauding a company. I don't understand how NCSoft has not terminated these employees that have constantly refused to do their JOBS.

So much time has passed without a response. I'd put up a link to NCSoft's BBB page, but they've previously removed such links even though it is the right of players to file complaints against a company for false advertisement, deception, and other crimes.

Seems like the story focus for now is going to be on the Northern Continent. You could try turning Motion Blur off though, the game doesn't do it well. No one in NA uses the LFP function and recruits though faction or world chat, so if they're just queuing up and ignoring the adverts from folks doing runs that's on them. Also, NCSoft hasn't sold off Guild Wars 2 and still is the parent company of ArenaNet: it's just NCSoft has always been pretty 'hands off' in regards to GW stuff. Not sure where you're getting your info from.

Impossible to complete. Staff have refused to respond on this matter in any capacity, which suggests they are abandoning the game.
