Suggestion: DC handling

Dear devs,

 

Please change the game so that being disconnected from the server just drops you back into the character select screen rather than exiting completely.  This would make it far simpler to join an existing instance.

I think that won`t be possible. You are logging in even before launcher starts so when you DC you need to take that step again.

Or at least..fix  our inability to reconnect when we died in X-server.

 

It's really annoying to die.. and later disconnected...  Only to find that we died in open world and unable to come back (need to resurrect first.. and when we resurrect.. the prompt to rejoin is no longer in effect)

Same goes for long loading. Prompt to rejoin lasts 20 seconds. By the time I load a non-black screen, I have like 2 seconds left to use the option. Please increase duration of prompt for potato loading pcs like mine.

I normally don't have problems with dc during dungeon because its easy to rejoin,

however dc during 6v6 or 3v3 sucks a lot because theres no pause (if they had which could be abuse)

theres no "rejoin" either.

I know its a bit off topic, but just want to share this as well because it belong in the "dc topic"

Nc games used to do that, if you got dc'd you simply went back to the character election screen. You didn't log in until the game had fully launched which made it easy to switch accounts. 

 

It was a few years ago the made the switch to his it is now.. which really sucked for switching accounts
