Equilibria
Flame me but I did not know that you can earn so much gold/silver when others bid on items. If someone bids 10 gold to get an item then all players except the winning bidder (in a full party) get 2 gold.
Poochyena
Hey man I agree, it's nice to get gold while others are throwing bids out, if you know what items are worth what you can easily get more silver than a daily just off of 1 item
MadnessCaffe
The bid system is awesome until someone raises the bid to 1g for something that costs 7 silver then you accidentally press bid and get *cricket*ed up
Zuzu
Yeah it's pretty useful especially in a 4man dungeon when a costume item drops. People bid 10g+ and you can easily get as much as one round of daily quests in that one run.
Eckin
It's alright until someone wants to be a prick and bid on that class exclusive item you need Fantastic if you don't want anything tho.
Zuldar
It's an a great idea, even if you lose the item you get something for your time. But the implementation could have been better. A sealed bid auction would vastly speed things up and eliminate the ability to troll by slipping in a few gold at the beginning. For those who don't know what that is, each player would put in one bid, or pass, and no one knows what everyone else bid until all the bids are in. Rather then waiting several minutes while the bid for each item increments a few copper at a time, each item could be over with in just those initial 20 seconds or so. Avalyn
I think it's really dumb because you just keep bidding and bidding and you get pissed at each other for not letting up

chinmi
yup. it's the best system. i really2 hate the old roll the dice system. in the old system, a noob with good luck can get all items in the 1st run, and the rest of the people that help him thru the dungeon can get nothing. Zerecas
I believe if you manually adjust the bidding price yourself, aka highlighting it, the new minimum bidding price won't overtake your input, that's what I do so far. There's sometime people purposely bid something that only worth about 10 silvers in market value and someone got tricked and accidentally pressed too quick, and ended up being 1 gold. The system need some adjustment nonetheless, but for now, highlighting it should at least prevent it from happening.
