Patch just now (10pm EST 1/16/16) prevents logging into game

That's the one, nothing after that. Seems like there's a disconnect between the client and Gameguard (since it won't start launch process without Gameguard launching). Doesn't even start re-downloading Gameguard -- just hangs there. 

Try going here: C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSOFT\BnS\bin and running BnSClient, it won't launch the game, but it should attempt to force an update to GameGuard.

If you bring up task manager, you will see "Blade and Soul by blood... 32 bit" running in the background, but yeah, gameguard isn't starting

deleted the game guard folder and doing a file repair check as we speak .. we shall see if that helps so far no dice

The issue is GameGuard, which is a trash program regardless, not the devs for BnS.

Early launch my ass. Never had any errors like this during CBT's. Just disappointed that I paid for early access with a Founders pack and since launch I've only been able to play for a few hours. Not much of a head start is all...

This is because of all the AFK's on Mushin, think about it if they have to relog and cant get back in... Course, not sure if its forcing players out or not.
