you call it "quality of life", but at the same time this are advantages over other players who respect and accept the rules. You break the rules to have an advantage. if you had no advantage from it, then you wouldn't do it.

"Advantage" implies a competitive aspect, which in BnS means gaining gear faster, completing content using hacks or using skills that shouldn't be available, speed hacking, flying, etc.

On the other hand, quality of life can mean things that make your sanity drain slower, like for example faster jewel feeding into accessories you're upgrading, so that you don't need to afk for five minutes when upgrading stage 6->9 for no reason whatsoever. It's just waiting with no purpose whatsoever and no input needed from the user.

That gives you no "advantage", it just makes you less frustrated.

 

Cheats bad? Yes.

Not wanting to endure horrible game design effects? Grey zone, apparently.

if you had no advantage from it, then you wouldn't do it and your statement confirms that it is an advantage. 😉

"Advantage" is everything that makes it easier for you compared to other people who dont have this also and respect/accept the rules. Many people are calling class skill edits "quality of life" but its pure cheating.

 

In the end everything that gives you an advantage over others no matter how it is and in what case.. it is an advantage. and if this advantage results from breaking a rule of the game, then even more so.

 

And that's what happens when you modify the game files, like you did with your "quality of life" changes.

Yes. 

Heartbeat works in a way to check if certain data is removed (bypass) and then send an alarm to the client telling it that data xyz has been disabled and tells the client to shut it down, resulting in force-closing the game. 

 

NCWest should've added this the moment they introduced this anticheat, because a bypass was already known for 5 years.
