  1. Sounds like what a company like NCSoft would not do. The thing is... a Steam release would honestly help in pushing playerbase numbers up a little to make content more active again but I highly doubt that this will ever happen.
  2. As the title says... I think I've been trying to write about this for months now... but the game and this community is dying because barely anything is happening. Before we get to the urgent fixes, I still want to compliment on the recent Daily Rest change. This was indeed a step in the right direction as it helps tremendously for people that do not have so much time playing this game every single day. Thank you. Probably the best change since years. Now... let's get to the key points: Gold Income I still read about how something is done about this... but nothing is happening. It's nice that you guys place more gold on the battle plague, in Demonsbane rankings... but that isn't close enough to anything. We need ACTUAL gold income fixes: more daily gold, daily gold box from 3 daily challenges (with a premium key to obtain more gold), more weekly gold, raids gold buffs etc... We have the korean upgrade system now with only very small changes but still the same income as before. This is hurting the game, as most people need months to even upgrading one piece of their gear. Do something, this is priority NUMBER ONE. The longer you wait, the more people leave this game. More resources Very simple point, we talk about: - Sacred Vials - Pet Packs - Skystealer Crystals Give us actual ways to farm them. How about a Celestial Basin buff? Demonsbane content Bring the next tier of Demonsbane accs soon. From my knowledge, there won't be a dungeon for about 4 months now unless NCWest changed the release schedule. If not, consider moving the next Demonsbane dungeon forward. This dry period will hurt the game, massively. Hongmoon Coins We need more sources of Venture Tokens again. Very simple. Ranking is dead because it got unlucrative for the majority of the playerbase with only the top 1% making actual good HMC gain. That is everything. I've been posting about months for various issues that should be looked at asap. This is all I have left to say now. I won't be posting anymore feedback, because I literally named various concerns about the state of NA/EU Blade & Soul. Now it is on the developers and the team of NCSoft/West to do something or do nothing. I do hope you take this feedback very seriously, because players are leaving every week and it would be very sad if that trend continues.
  3. That is the absolute worst site to ever look for estimated playercounts. Their numbers are completely randomly calculated, no logic behind anything whatsoever. Currently, I would estimate the same as Uldrum... around 3k unique daily logins, while having around 400-600 players online at the same time (for Jinsoyun/EU) and even less players on the american server (NA/Yura), maybe not even half of EU.
  4. Don't worry guys. I really just gave you the best solution we have right now. I know, there's a million better ways to fix this issue without having to spend real life money.... but since you all did play as long as I did... I can sadly only say that I think all these suggestions are very unlikely to ever happen. I had no ill intention when I suggested this, it literally IS THE BEST option right now. Otherwise you're stuck grinding for weeks if not months with barely any progression.
  5. There is already a solution: The Battle Plague. It gives quite nice gold for a little real money cost. Go get it, it's worth it.
  6. In all nice feelings and honesty... your wishes won't be heard. There is meta specs and there is very bad specs. It is how it is. They won't fix this anytime soon, more like they will built up on it. New specs are always overbusted so people are pleased into swiping or rerolling which does involve real money cost as well. It's a business strategy. I gave up on it tbh. You either play the game or you don't and you deal with the changes they release to the game if you do decide to keep playing. That's the only way.
  7. I found one more Soul Boost problem: We need 9x Champion's Heart Evolution Stone for True Champions Heart. Stage 32 however doesn't offer 3x Champion's Heart Stone, it only offers 1. We're stuck with Awakened Champion's Heart - Stage 2 after progressing from Stage 32 onwards. (We acquire 7 in total instead of 9 which are needed right now!) Please fix this stage and also send a Level 32 Reward Compensation to all qualified accounts. Thank you! Btw, appreciate all the hard work @Green Storm! Thank you so much! ☺️
  8. The one thing that is infuriating me the most is the costume called "Lotus". We literally had the EXACT same outfit, just recoloured to black/red named "Dahlia" in the last rotation. You can't tell me this wasn't intentional and someone thought it's a funny joke... because it's not. What the hell is going on? What is with all the feedback we gave you guys? It feels like we were just ignored once again and it makes me actually sad because people wanted good cosmetics, not recolours after recolours.

  10. THIS. I can only fully agree with you here. Being forced to run 1 dungeon for 300 runs when the weapon drops from all 3 dungeons... it's a pain.
  11. Which is absolutely crazy because now you pay less gold for +6 to +11 for all accs. Only so you start at +6 with Starcross and don't have to deal with even worse rates and more gold drain.
  12. This is still a major issue as of today that keeps me from actually playing beyond the finished Soul Boost on 3 characters. I can give a very good example to this: Just from adding all soul boost psyches to my accs and badges.... I wasted around 1400 gold. However, we still make barely any gold from content. The only option would be to buy the pass for 30 dollars every single time that gives you atleast around 20k gold. Now... to even consider going for Starcross accs, I should get most of my skystealer accs to +11. Just one acc from +6 to +11 costs around 3-4k gold... you have 6 of them. That adds up to 18-24k gold just getting all of them to +11. Sure, this got a lot better with the recent patch (people wasted sometimes over 50k for one acc rolling RNG fiesta lmao), but it's still much... why? You need to spend weeks or months to even get them into this position... just so you don't have to deal with this massive cost of upgrading Starcross to +6 (which is RNG). The pass is indeed a nice paid option and gold boost but only a bandaid fix. What needs to be done is ACTUAL fixes to the gold income by doing ingame activities... a few RNG related 1k gold from weekly chests won't do it here. Korea gets a daily chest with MINIMUM 1k gold (premium key)... with a small chance to even receive 5k gold. We can also reach that stage... but have to grind 4-times as hard. That is demotivating. Korea gets more gold from daily dungeon quests.. something we could honestly need at this point because gold is needed more and more. It just feels like a huge chore. There's definitely some room for improvements.
  13. Hello again with yet another suggestion. As far as I know, in Korea you pay around 60-70 dollars for a Class Change voucher. We should make it similar in NA/EU pricing. 100 $/€ is way too much. You have to keep in mind that not every country in Europe offers great payouts per month for a job, so we should really decrease the NCoin price here. I can guarantee you, more people would buy it if it is cheaper. We don't have to make it 10 bucks, but slightly more expensive than a Level 60 boost should be reasonable.

I don't know if Green Storm still reads this feedback thread... but I do have some amazing suggestions for the Premium tab... and it's great this is finally a consideration because it has been outdated for so long now. Okay, here we go: Keep the weekly chests for Sacred Vials, Pet Packs and Sterling Scale Crystals Nothing should be changed here. They should stay as they currently are, with the difference of spending the Solar energy directly instead of having to transmute Spectrum Stones. Maybe increase the limit and require less Refined Honing Oil and Solar Energy if that is possible. Outfits This has been a problem for so long now. This game offers a variety of amazing costumes, head/body adornments and hairstyles that people simply can't get. The problem isn't that they aren't available by playing the game, the problem is we can't get them in general! 3 outfits in a monthly rotation and a new outfit with some promotions is way too less ways to get some good looking outfits in the game. There is also a very limited amount of dungeons you can still get dungeon outfits from. Now... here comes my great suggestion that would absolutely be a big plus point for Premium membership: We do have a clothing merchant in the game. This person offers outfits and RNG outfit boxes in exchange for Chromatic Threads or Designer Threads. Right now, we have a very limited way of getting these threads... Chromatic Threads can only be bought on the Hongmoon Store (You also need these to recolour cosmetics!) and Designer Threads are especially hard to get without any promotions happening in the Hongmoon Store. Put Chromatic Threads into the Premium tab. There should be two exchange options: 1x Chromatic Thread for 1x Fabric OR 1x Chromatic Thread for 1x High-Quality Fabric. Maybe also consider to add a small gold fee per exchange (5 gold). Put Designer Threads into the Premium tab. There should only be one exchange option: 1x Designer Thread for 1x Fabric AND 1x High-Quality Fabric. The fee per exchange should be around 10-15 gold. This includes some fixes: Making the clothing merchant actually being used more, give people a way to finally obtain Designer Threads, making it a strong selling point for Premium membership. Please, consider this. We need more ways to obtain more cosmetics in the game. It's one of the strongest points this game has. This would be a great start. Obsidian gems We still lack these gems. There is very limited ways to get them and we do need more help with that. All gems except diamonds and obsidians can be acquired by running the Chaos Supply Chain or doing Koldrak. Put a monthly limit of 3 Premium Obsidian Chests into the Premium tab. These would offer a RNG selection of Gilded Square, Gilded Pentagonal and Gilded Hexagonal Obsidians with the highest chance to obtain the Gilded Square variant. You can also consider nerfing this by one tier: Triangular -> Square -> Pentagonal. Scales for upgrades We need ways to exchange older scales for newer scales as they no longer have a purpose in the game. 1x Blackstone -> 1x Elder Scale 1x Silver Scale -> 1x Nocturnal Scale 1x Onyx Scale -> 1x Shimmering Scale I know... this might be a problem for NCSoft with people having stacked up a lot of older scale fragments or scales in general. Consider to add a weekly limit around 20-25 per scale option so people can't dump them in one go and have huge amounts in a matter of minutes. There's need to a balance, this is a good way to start. Soulshield options The current selection of soulshields is very outdated. This need a long overdue change: Remove Fallen Soulshield parts Remove Celestial Soulshield parts Remove Scarlet Soulshield parts Remove Steelbreaker Soulshield parts And add these for a discounted price per item into the Premium tab: Serpent's Den Soulshields for a discounted Twisted Heart price Poharan Soulshields for a discounted Chaos Emblem price ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Many people said to also add True Poharan Soulshields to the premium tab. I disagree with that, unless you put a achievement requirement behind this. This is the current best in slot in the game and it should only be obtainable by doing Stage 5 of Chaos Supply Chain. However if you do add them, require characters to have finished atleast Stage 5 of Chaos Supply Chain in order to obtain them. Also, make these RNG only. They should be harder to obtain than their weaker counterpart. And that's pretty much everything I can give feedback for. I really hope this will be considered and brought to attention with NCSoft. I don't know how much of these suggestions might ever make it into the live game, but I do hope some of then can. Please, strongly consider my point about outfits. I don't know why this is such a overlooked problem when the fashion in this game is one of the most strongest selling points in Blade & Soul. There should be a paid way to obtain more outfits and I think this idea is a great way to start.
  15. I think the only bad thing about this is the actual upgrade chances for the accs. Droprate should not be changed. What do people do after finishing it in 2 days? Right, they sit there, no content and complain yet again that there's nothing to do. The only dungeon that is an exception to this situation is Chaos Supply Chain. Something has to be done here, atleast decrease the costs at the vendor for Soul Shield parts and primers.
  16. Tbh as much as this might suck for some people still doing the Soulboost... this one should end after this month's delay and start with Season 2. Delaying it further is actually damaging the game and doesn't help anybody. However, there's a few things that could be done better for Season 2: - Put in challenges that can be completed the entire duration of the Soulboost That means no more 7/7 Daily tasks, changing specific dungeon completions into Heroic/Demonsbane dungeon completions (any!) - Bringing back more daily options, add more other challenges to Soulboost With the current rotation, stuff like MSP, Celestial Basin and more should be included in the Daily Challenge and Soulboost. Also consider adding event dungeons to the Daily Challenge as well for the time it's available with the current running event. Also consider to add ToI to the Daily Challenge and rebalance it's rewards.
  17. While RNG is never really a good thing players are happy about, I think they can handle this actually well. The only problem I see right now is the new change in acquiring this new tier of gear with the current speed of content. The Upsurge tier might be complete next month, and at that point they need to figure out how to pass some time before the next tier will be released since people need more time to grind for the new tier. Obviously, people can be lucky... that's also RNG... but there's alts too.
  18. Hello Blade & Soul community, I think this topic should've been brought to light for quite some time now. It is regarding the current weapon path for Blade & Soul. Nothing should obviously change within the best tier now (Upsurge & True Upsurge tier), but I think something needs to be done at the start and also some cost reductions for the Shadow Fury weapon tier. Right now for a fresh character or new player, these people start at Grand Celestial - Stage 6. Throughout doing the Daily challenge, they can acquire Grand Celestial and Thornbreaker Forgestones to go all the way to Thornbreaker - Stage 9. This is quite good... atleast for the standard we had six months ago. With the current rotation of dungeons in the game (especially the new Demonsbane stage balance), a Thornbreaker 9 weapon is simply not good enough, however upgrading until Upsurge is quite a lot of time to sink in, to the point people won't be able to even get the weapon until new tiers have been released. This is not about grind, it's just very badly handled in terms of progression. It locks out quite the player numbers from doing endgame content... not the hardest, but basic endgame content. So... what could be done? - A new item called Steelbreaker Forgestone, acquired through the Dragon Express for 12 Solar Pearls per Forgestone. These allow you to freely upgrade ONE Silversteel Weapon stage, starting from Thornbreaker Weapon - Stage 9 and ending at Silversteel Weapon - Stage 9. (Between Silversteel Weapon - Stage 6 to 9, you could also make it so 2 Forgestones are required to upgrade to the next stage if some people deem it as "too easy".) The Silversteel Weapon tier is quite the weird one... while it is a good weapon and definitely helps the lower players to push into more advanced Demonsbane stage and other content, it is only the 3rd best tier in the game now. This should be a very reasonable catchup for players without making the game basically no grind at all. - Shadow Fury is the tier between Silversteel and Upsurge. Some minor cost reductions should be considered (less Twisted Hearts for example), but to a point where people obviously still have to do something and invest quite some time to get to Shadow Fury - Stage 9. - Also consider to offer a Shadow Fury weapon material in the last stage of the next Soul Boost and onwards. This would effectively put people to Shadow Fury - Stage 3 if they afford the remaining costs and materials for the upgrade. It does help when newer players as well as mid-geared players have some sort of progression without pushing them straight up to veteran players and whales without basically any effort. It makes sure more people can do the new good content, which also results in more active dungeon numbers and playercount. The difference between a free-to-play player and a veteran/whale would still be massive. That won't change but atleast make it better for other players so they will stay in the game and also might spend money on it.

There's a few specific items I want to talk about: - Obsidian/Garnet Selection chests: Currently, we get very outdated Selection Chests (Hexagonal/Heptagonal/Octagonal) from the trove, these should be replaced with Gilded Pentagonal/Gilded Hexagonal Selection Chests. Specifically for Obsidian and Garnet gems. - Yeoharan's Accessory Exchange Ticket This one should be removed completely and be replaced with a Skystealer Accessory Selection Chest. - Thornbreaker/Steelbreaker/Shadow Fury Soul Shield Selection Chest (1-4/5-8) These ones should be replaced with True Poharan Soul Shield Selection Chest (1-4/5-8). - Outfits/Weapon skins Bring back more outfits/weapon skins from past troves as well as costume boxes or events. It definitely gives the appeal for some people to buy Trove keys if they can get an outfit they always wanted. Do not look specifically at the theme here, just throw them into the mix with a more rare chance to get the new Trove outfits. - Soul/Heart/Pet/Talisman If you're really lucky, you should be rewarded with the 2nd best tier of these accs. This would be the following right now: - True Netherspark Soul - True Dauntless Heart - True Supernatural Pet Aura - True Overture Talisman Obviously since all of them are quite high tier, the buyout price should be adjusted. (not too crazy please!) -------------------- Now to some smaller but still very important things: - Introduction of Shadow Fury Weapon Chest - Stage 9 (Gives you your class-exclusive Shadow Fury Stage 9 weapon) - Higher quantities of Elder Scale Fragments/Nocturnal Scale Fragments/Shimmering Scale Fragments - Higher quantities of Elder Scale/Nocturnal Scale/Shimmering Scale - Higher quantities of Sacred Vials/Pet Packs (to fit the current endgame soul/pet aura upgrades) - Higher quantities of all Skystealer Crystals - Higher quantities of Fusion Stones - Introduction of Exalted Ascension/Radiance Stone Chests - Removal of Brilliant Ascension/Radiance Stone Chests - Higher quantities of Sparkling Ascension/Radiance Stone Chests - Higher quantities of Secret Safe/Heavy Gold Chests - Removal of outdated Psyches and replaced by current up-to-date Psyches - Removal of outdated items that really serve no more purpose in the game And that's pretty much everything. I hope the feedback is appreciated!
  20. I played a MMO where you hunt one specific unique item for over 10k kills. Trust me, 300 kills is nothing. Maybe it's like that because we have quite the different experience when it comes to rare drops. While you think that 300 kills is way too much, for me, 300 kills is absolutely no grind at all. Obviously, it is very hard to please everyone when it comes to droprates. A good example would be Sterling Scales though, I think for a material item it was actually worse than accs... they should really look into that first. And second, sometimes it really depends on your personal luck as well. I know people that already completed all current Starcross accs and did so in under 100 kills.

  22. I mean you could also just buy gold from F9 and then buy them in the marketplace... or wait for good deals in F10 that give you actual good gold.
  23. Tbh... that's not even that much RNG. Atleast you got some time to farm and won't get bored with completing it in 2 days. They should do something on the upgrade RNG though or maybe more gold income?
  24. Quite a simple fix: Wait until Soul Boost offers you upgrades. The way how this game operates is 1 by 1 with Korea, where most people don't even need these things anymore. Nobody complains there about the lack of Elder scales. It's just how it is, people need to deal with it.
