why cant i dash left and right? i see others do it

usually in arena i see ppl Do AA and DD dashes, im sure its not a backstep because its to the side , and when i stand there blocking vs a blade master who is blocking 20 meters away from me he suddenly side step and 5 point strike me, but how? im lvl 45 and i dont have that ability, they are locked out

Are you sure they're not spinning the camera -> SS (I do this a lot on my Destroyer when I play offensively) or using Q/E?

First of all: which class are you playing? No every class can do this.

2nd: the classes who can dash aside have these abilities on Q and E most of the time

If you hover over side steps AA and DD from skill tree, there's a requirement. I think you unlock them by killing Sapphire and other one in misty woods.

ur joking right, it can be unlocked?

Some classes have skills that let them do it for example a kunfu master can push Q and shadow step around a target its a skill they have.

it doesnt say you have to beat any bosses to unlock it, its just locked out
