That's why you do the client.bak <-- to back it up and won't get deleted. 

There are enough replies and thanks on the post.

 

I have done the same thing myself and everything has worked.

That's exactly what it is worse thing is it'll probably cause problems for people later on.

seems like no more bns for me tonight wanted lvl 40 before bed time but now that i lost out on about 2 hours and only about an hours left in me before bed and no server maint at all so nice to let others play still now when i can play all them people ont hat r lower lvl r going to be my lvl tomorrow and ill be fighting for spawn :/

If you were shafted like me, this is how you fix it if you don't want to wait for NCSoft.

Get the pre-patch client.exe from a trusted friend OR Download it here. I take no responsibility for this fix.

Next up, go to your Client.exe which should be under \BnS\bin

and rename it to Client.bak incase you need that again.

Now move the old Client.exe into that folder.

Now you'll need a batch file to launch the client.exe without going through the launcher. make a batch file and type/copy paste the following snippet in bold.

start Client.exe /launchbylauncher /sesskey /CompanyID: "12" /ChannelGroupIndex: "-1" /LoginMode 2 -lang:English -region:0

region:0 --- for NA

region:1 --- for EU

Same here try uninstall and reinstall but that did not work so don't wast your time doing that just going have to head to bed and wait for a fix,
