How do you get Transformation Stones?

I am unsure if you can still buy them in the Marketplace or not but I do know you can craft them if you're Forgekeeper.

I know that forgekeepers can make them, but the cost in items required is ridiculously high. And yet I see people selling a hundred or more. There must be some other way of getting them.

you can get 5 of them from today's specials, also forgekeepers is still best place to get them. Also you get some from trove

Forgekeepers really isn't that expensive, cheaper then the old system thats for sure. It just takes time to grind out the mats (which most you get from the daily challanges and big purples.

Well...whether the new system is more expensive or cheaper than old system, it depends on if you could get the quartz resources for free with the old system (aka you were the bots or you could even win against the bots at quartz sites). If you could get the quartz for free with the old system, it was definitely cheaper with old system. The only reason why old system was expensive was due to the low quartz resources after server merge. However, if you have to buy all the mats from markets, then new system is cheaper. Also, the new system can give you the mats a lot faster than the old system.

That's flawed thinking the stones do not become worth zero just because you got them yourself. They are still worth x gold and if you didn't use them in the craft you could have sold them in the market instead thus it's part of the crafting cost.
