Explain something to me: Sunflower stacks

I was testing it, the requirement for a stack is to hit a target affected by Doom 'n Bloom or Briar Patch.

The thing is, I have Doom 'n Bloom going on and some Sunflower hits DOES NOT add a stack, does Sunflower stacks has an internal cooldown?

 

Am I doing something wrong? Is Sunflower supposed to add 1 stack on EVERY hit?

Sunflower stack per hit
doom n gloom lasts 5 sec
after that use briari patch
domm n gllom /= ivy poison.

Hi, thanks for replying.

Let me be more clear because I think I didn't explain it right:

- I apply Doom 'n Bloom

- Use Sunflower, +1 stack

- Use Sunflower, NO STACK ADDED

- Use Sunflower, +1 stack

 

So why the 2nd hit didn't add +1 stack? And yes i'm testing it like crazy to see if i'm doing something wrong.

with d`n`b or briar patch rmb will have 2 types. First type normal sunflower, second type stackable sunflower. so yeah every 2nd rmb sunflower is stacking.

So if I do everything right, every 10 attacks i'll have an Overflow.

If we get any of the beta changes in KR, we might get petall toss that adds sunflower stacks.

Can someone confirm the sunflower stacks being every other hit?^

There are times ill sunflower 5+ times and not get a stack.

Is this just another bug with summoners? I spoke to other summoners who have the same issue. We will get to 3 or 4 stacks then sunflower 4-5 times and not get the fifth stack.

Is this a separate bug?

You only get stacks during pin, d'n'b, or briar.

how long do you wait for briar patch after d'n'b? cause dnb ivy poison is 10 sec, but dnb itself is just for 5 seconds.
