Feedback on Premiumship benefits

tl;nr: NCSoft and Free players will cry if they follow all of these suggestions, lol.

Here is my analysis current Premiumship benefits:

 

 

 

1.            Increased Gold Earned from Daily and Field Quests

 

One of main attractions of the current Premiumship. 20-30% gold boost from dailies are big!

 

 

 

2.            Increased XP Earned from Daily and Field Quests

 

Another main attraction. 20-30% exp boost is great to have when grinding HM level, especially with x2 EXP food

 

 

 

3.            Increased Gold Earned from Combat

 

Barely noticeable, but nice to have when you grind HM level where you will kill like thousands of mobs

 

 

 

4.            Increased XP Earned from Combat

 

Good to grind HM level

 

 

 

5.            Extra Hongmoon Coins from Combining

 

Cool to have. Free coins are free

 

 

 

6.            Reduced Marketplace Commission Fees

 

Help nicely if you often sells things at high prices

 

 

 

7.            Increased Marketplace Sell Slots

 

Good to have, though useless if you don't use the marketplace that often

 

 

 

8.            Increased Currency Exchange Sell Slots

 

Useless if you don't use it often. Somewhat helpful if you want to spam 15 slots of 1 gold at lowest rate

 

 

 

9.            Reduced Weapon Glamour Fees

 

Great to have

 

 

 

10.          Increased Gathering and Crafting XP

 

Not sure. Become useless once you hit Rank 4

 

 

 

11.          Faster Chi Recovery

 

Make it a little bit easier to be back on your feet during or out combat, though I think it's kinda cheating

 

 

 

12.          Windstride Cooldown

 

Cool, especially if you often travel to wrong places like me

 

 

 

13.          Reduced Weapon Evolution and Breakthrough Fees

 

Must have if you don't sit on thousands of gold

 

 

 

14.          Wardrobe Deposit

 

Must have, if you collect outfits

 

 

 

15.          Exclusive Tab in Dragon Express

 

Reduced token costs of some items are cool, but not necessary. I don't use this too often

 

 

 

16.          Dragon Express (Sell)

 

 

 

Remote selling is nice, but you tend to forget about it and hit merchants when your inventory are full

 

 

 

17.          Additional Daily Dash Spin

 

Sound nice, huh? Except when the Daily Dash is a one-time one instead of continuous one

 

 

 

18.          Login Queue Priority

 

Look like a useless fluff now, because I no longer see any queue.

 

 

 

19.          Premium Membership Icon

 

Why should I tell people that I have Premiumship?

 

 

 

20.          Class-Specific Dazzling Windwalk

 

Some cool, some ugly enough to rather not have.

 

21.          Remote Storage

 

Rank 9+ only. Seem far away if you don't spend a lot

 

 

 

22.          Hongmoon Store Discount On Select Items

 

Cool to have, though they should really discount outfits instead

Here are my suggestions how to improve it:

 

 

 

1.            Premiumship Icon:

 

-Rework the art to make it pretty

 

-Make it looks prettier and cooler as you rank up;

 

-There should be an option to turn off its display if you don't like to show it off

 

 

 

2.            Windwalk Effects:

 

An option to turn off, if you don't like your class's Windwalk effects

 

 

 

3.            Hongmoon Store:

 

-Provide 5% discount for outfits. 10% if you are Rank 9+

 

-Provide 5% discount for RNG boxes and premium items. 10% if you're Rank 9+

 

-Throw in 5% extra discount if you buy more than five items at once

 

-If you are Premium members, you should have laxer limit on some daily-limited items, like Cold Storage reset. Free can get 5. Premium can get 10.

 

 

 

4.            Daily Spin Dash:

 

-Premium Members should be able to spin for every 30 minutes

 

-Premium Members should be able to spin two rounds of one-time Daily Dash

 

-Daily Dash's number of spin and cooldown should have items to reset them, available for both free and premium members

 

 

 

5.            Gathering and Crafting Guild:

 

-Aside from Exp boost, premium members should have reduced gathering/crafting time.

 

-The higher rank you are, the shorter time you need to craft/gather an item

 

-If you have premium, you can also help shorten clan crafting time

 

-At rank 9+, you have a small chance to get double items from an order

 

 

 

6.            Zero invisible costs for selling items on marketplace:

 

-There shouldn't be any invisible cost in the first place, lol

 

 

 

7.            Shorter cooldown for resurrection charm:

 

-Normal merchant-bought charm gets cooldown reset from 1h30m to 1h

 

-This does not affect Quick Revival Charm

 

 

 

8.            Wardrobe:

 

-Make it free to promote outfit sales, but make free players have to visit the vault to change and deposit their outfits, and they will need to pay a fee for that

 

-Premium players should need no tickets to send outfits between alt

 

-Premium players can access Wardrobe anywhere, and needs to pay no fee.

 

-Premium players have the ability to salvage rare dungeon-dropped outfits into fabrics.

 

 

 

9.            Daily dungeons:

 

-Premium players should be able to run daily dungeons twice per day

 

-They should also be able to buy more dungeon reset items than free players

 

 

 

10.          Transmutation:

 

-Have better success chance to transmute an item.

 

-Have better chance to have a critical transmutation (Get Elder elements apart from normal elements)

 

-At Rank 9+, have a very small chance to double output.

 

 

 

11.          Soul Shield Fusion:

 

-Have reduced cost to fuse soul shield

 

-Have better chance for max fusion

 

 

 

12.          Monthly allowance:

 

-Starting from rank 4, premium members get 100 HM coins per month.

 

-Starting from rank 7, it's 150 HM coins per month

 

-At rank 9+, it's 200 HM coins per month

 

 

 

13.          Remote Mailing:

 

Premium members at Rank 9+ should be able to mail from everywhere

 

 

 

14.          Premiumship Friend Refer:

 

-Premium members can refer the service to their friends.

 

-The friends need to buy the one-month premium or above, not the student pack, to be counted as successful referring.

 

-If their friends get premium through the refer, whenever the friends buy something, 1% of the cost will be added to the referrer's HM coin wallet. If a friend buy a sunglass cost 400, 4 coins will be added to your HM wallet.

 

-By referring the service to:

 

5 people: the referrer will get an outfit and 100 HM coin

 

10 people: an headgear and 100 HM coin

 

15 people: an adornment and 100 HM coin

 

20 people: instead of 1%, now it is 2% of the cost of items bought by referred friends added to your wallet as HM coins. As well as 100 HM coin

 

25+: for every five friends buying premiumship, you will receive 100 HM coins

I think that it is better to simply invest the membership money into the NC coins instead of the membership. Then you can purchase what you actually need & when you need it, plus benefit from the events.

 

Some cost reductions are nice, but I dunno, it just did not feel like I am suddenly am better off with the Membership than before it.

 

Daily Dash with the limited number of squares, and the Events not giving any advantages to a premium member is a perfect example why paying Premium is not worth it, and paying for specific things is better.

 

The Wardrobe I guess saves a little bit of money, by freeing up the Inventory, but the inventory in this game is so tiny that those 5 or 6 slots... well, I'll just throw away all the bamboo guards and blackram pirates stuff. Just need two outfits - a pretty one and a faction one.

Reductions and bonus XP were my primary motives for subscribing to a premium membership. The rest is just gravy. I have really enjoyed the discounts in the HM Store as well. Especially recently after I hit level 6. Makes the NC coin last longer.

I get it manily coz of the experience boost and also coz of waroble. Otherwise I will never have enough room for all my outfits. Other than that the is meh.

additional daily dungeon limit would be sweet. Tera has this as also.

 

There's already a hidden chance to proc an extra Transformation Stone, it would be nice to have that for other items.

 

HM coins per month would be great as well.

I like premium membership, the reduction of upgrade costs is cool, wardrobe and discounts in hm store are also lovely.

HM coins for logging in / monthly allowance for premium members are a good idea.
