Having around 17k bap isnt hard imo. Mastering the class potential of course takes time but if you put your mind in it you`ll succeed. Game wasn't made for every casual playing an hour some stage 5s to get the top rewards. There is lot of things wrong with the game but some skill check is always handy. Practice makes perfect. I just worked into rotation et all to get the title. Didn't use daredevil or unlucky. Just worked on rotations bursts and there it goes. If you want just to press 1 2 3 and expect to have everything people that honed their skills have, well whats the point in the game then ? IF you so bad just roll bard I suppose ...

I switched to gun from BM. But my BM easily had 400++ sustain on fire ( i played light on breaker / CC) and i have less on gun. Burst is higher but sustain is not. Im 10 sec short of the title(best time so far 2:40) and I dont have whale DPS .16500 bap not massive. Challenge it is, but not impossible. The 3 min mark that is.

Game is hard only if you chase top stats. There is plenty of f2p players that play with market prices / crafts and upgrade. They may not have 20k BAP but i`ve seen quite a few around 14k mark. Just play smart. I came end of Jan during old SB. It wasn't easy but i`ve spend some coin. There is still people with around 8-10k bap doing stuff. And getting to 8k isn't hard at all.

Yes and no. Depend of group setup. All astro does is to make the run less buff/grab/breaker dependable. Meaning they can get away with just playing on 10% hp with full zerker/pt and pure dps rather than destro for cc extend plus grab, bard for buff and so on and so on. And also you have less chance to fail due to being knocked over by a tornado in the middle of the purple pizza....

AT stg5 was added. I`ve helped people with this dung and they was able to finish the SB.

Well if you want anything from this chest badly you just have to live with it. I got 8 costumes out of 13 chests. It is what it is.

We played Korea and Taiwan(I had 480 ping in CN so never bothered playing there). Korea was high 300 too and Taiwan mid-high 200. Yeah you can't play some classes like eg sin or anything that need low ping but some classes are high ping friendly. I played FM. The old cool FM I mean. Was good enough to do all the content at the time and skill formula wasn't as OP as EU/NA release so we didn't had high dmg and we didn't had 1 hit full hp like now... we had i frames and Amethyst to heal us and as FM I had ice F to heal me a bit.... yes I`ve spend hours trying to clear Grandpa in BSH and Be Ido and the wind/thunder gods but we made it work. Patience was a virtue back then...

I had tailored skill builds against every class. I needed to know every class in order to exploit a weakness and when to expect it and what to expect. Now? I can care less what the other 323298 classes do. FM was fun and you had to play smart. BM's were cancer tho. But everything else was fun to play. Including BD and scummoners 😄

Yeah and the new gen is used to social medias Iphones and what not. Computers aren't as important as a new Iphone214 MAX XXL whatever. This new gen doesn't really care for computers let alone gaming rigs for thousands and thousands of pounds/euro/dollars etc. Or laptops. Because desktops are dying for general use from years. Gaming laptops on the other hand are not as reliable and also are big and heavy. And cost an arm and a leg. Have you seen the new RTX 40 series loaded laptops price tags? 2.8k was like the cheaper(ish) one. But even RTX 30 series are over 1k. That;s why Blade and Soul 2 is mobile not PC.

Was that the dragon in misty? In Windrest we did some but calling it fun...died as quickly as the 45 patch. 45 was rushed too quickly but then again we had the latest skill formula so dmg was too high and nothing 45 was challenging at all. Until asura was meh. Sogun Lament and then Nexus were like the first dungeons you couldn't just tank and spank....

Or... you can just ignore Walex. He's a special boy. There is 3-4 names that are ignored if not by the whole server, at least by half of it. Name and shame rules prevent me from getting into more details there.

Admittedly I'm not geared to the teeth but my BM have 650k HP 32k mystic, 504% CAD and 9k BAP and I`ve helped loads of people in Altar, Chimera and Poh 8... Quite a few times I had to solo altar boss but meh not rocket science... As about Chimera I just disable my taunt and let tubing goes around and don't get all of them as I barely find low geared people willing to break tube. I just pay attention to the thingy above my head and I try to move to Myna(The one on the left) as I find it easier to survive in tube there than on Starling. And I keep my HM block too. 1 resist could decide your faith 😄 If you still struggle send me PM and I`ll come with you... mind you I do like 90-100m average DPS in Chimera but normally it's fine as I time my spectral burst and don't waste it.

I dropped my amulet in NM. Got lucky there and took under 10 runs after the badge. As BM I got Slice/Falling Stars which is the best possible version. Never seen anything since.

I came back to the game last month being gone from gaming altogether for about 6 and a half years. The initial info you need to know is mind boggling. Yes there is guides but most until you have a taste of whats what do not make sense bar what to keep. New people need a slow approach to get their heads around mech and what not. Say I tried to explain clock and flowers mech in Altar(albeit just ST5) as they didn't had enough HP to survive. Well lets just say 1 in 4 will try it. Likely to fail but will do their best to get the hang of it. Some are just slower than others. If I have time I do help people with Shrine. I mean what is there to whinge about helping people you`re not obliged to? Nakari takes like 3 sec burst anyway. Not like you have to sweat you bottom to help them ... The biggest shock to newbies is first Circle of Sundering Master hong mech and then Den of the Ancients. Most people(Including me) had quite of enjoyment there. Would I help people there if I could? Why not? Ajanara normal is another big step for newbies. Even watching guides didn't help much. It took a person in discord to stream and explain every bit to get the mech working. From there was easy.

Yeah well. I were hoping to get it from the SB but in the end I just bought one for 20 essences. It's not hard to farm Wolfy and HOT easy mode with randoms. Accessories do drop quite often and just bid on them... I myself had like 6 bracelets but not BM one so. Yeah, it does hurt indeed to use 20 essences when you can use them for re-rolling stats but it's one of them...

Spot on. I came back to the game(having played in 2016th) 2 weeks ago and I'm nearly done with my ex main(FM is so dull now) and my new main(ex alt) BM. I don't wait someone to make SB daily run - I make my own. Simple really. RT, EL, FOE & Aero adverts are in faction/world chat all the time. And it doesn't take long to get there either... Plus you don't need to do most of the 12 times quests either. I'm lvl 47 on my BM with the 3 dynamic quests remaining( Aero, Substratum and FOE). Since Substratum is in F8 I`ll just finish that. Simple really. His point would`ve stood tab better if he was talking about the solo dungeons. Finishing Mao with SB gear is all but fun 😄

You don't get Get those two items from soul boost or campaign. Doesn't seems like you can change from grand celestial to thornbreaker at this stage. Evolve require 13 Enlightened Elements. It does say they come from dragon express but either I'm blind or they`re not there. I have 1 and they`re untradable. So I guess new players are, well stuck or until next soulboost comes. If this wasn't my 3rd NCsoft MMO I would`ve been shocked 😄 On Thornbreaker stage one it say acquired from Grand Celestial weapon +7. So no, doesn't seems like you can swap with some extra materials like for like. Maybe that was the case in the past but certainly not the case now.

Just checked Transmute tab. There is no option to upgrade celestial to thornbreaker. Just stage 1 celestial box. If this is a thing, where does I need to go ?
