Yeah bro, its trying to take over your computer and with that, the world! VOTE Blade and Soul FOR PRESIDENT OF THE WORLD!

Seriously, grow up. All those conspiracy theories are just laughable.

You know, some programs require to start via admin rights so they can access and modify the registry. Everyone does it and its not something new or harmful. This is not some sort of a hacking so it modifies your system. Those kinds of worms cant even be detected by the most powerful antivirus programs or protection programs.

Why are you not concerned about the resent microsoft security breach and the theft of millions of accounts? Or the fact that Windows 10 is spying on you all the time and the government knows what you are doing on your PC at any given moment? Why are you concerned by a mere registry access of a game you like to play?

its not about the gathering data part, its about the game modifying system data.

in the old days of Aion, when gameguard was buggy as crap... there was once a bug in gameguard that deleted the win32.dll  which pretty much takes a crap on ur computer after u reboot... lol, so u have no clue on what ur on about.

we're in the socialmedia era, so.. yeah plenty of spies, but this isnt about that, its about Client.exe trying to access an unnecessary file for what reason? its a GAME

Hey Sixie,

Were you running the game (client.exe) from an a mounted TI backup? If that's the case this would explain why client.exe is trying to modify it as the game needs to read/write data to run. And obviously Acronis Active Protection may not be a fan of that (any "unknown" application that modify backup image you mounted will be blocked).

I wouldn't recommend to run Blade & Soul from a mounted TI backup if that's what you are doing or you should at least whitelist all Blade & Soul (and GameGuard) related files to avoid any possible conflict with things like Active Protection.

Could you guys please get rid of this infamous malware GameGuard forever? Before the release of the 64bit client, I had almost one year's struggling with a good desktop pc but a constant memory leak resulting in extremely poor fps performance. The same malware agonized players of other games too. Thank you very much!
