Will skipping blue quest affect progression?

Will skipping blue quest affect progression? Like missing future blue quests when 50 patch releases. Because I've made a new char, lvl'ed it really fast (45 at King Kaari), I feel like skipping all blue quest and rushing for misty woods, but am afraid blue quest are chained till 50 or smth.

 

Any advice?

My advice? If it's not a daily quest or it's a daily that doesn't involve world bosses or cross-server dungeons, best to play safe and not skip.

I would say don't skip, some of these quest give you stuff like elements or even more keys. Not to mention they'll definitely help you level faster. I know they can be frustrating to deal with because after you do one, you get 20 more but in the end it's all worth it.

It will affect your leveling in the long run, so it's better to do most of them. (though certain ones can just be ignored depending on how long they take or bugs affecting them)
