hongmoon ability will ruin pvp when released, the grind!

why would you make it a grind fest to get those hongmoon levels ... the longivity is in pvp anyway... and the biggest issue is when some idiot who got LUCKY gets all his damn hongmoon levels and legendary abilites and he starts chobbing every1 in arena and getting diamond withing the first few days... that is not okay.. the pvp should be balanced for all, not the lucky once, sure if your a prodigy you can out play him but the odds are NOT in ur favor, it will be like playing 45 vs lvl 30 players.. 

 

Yes sure they shouldnt be handed out freely, but through questing and not RNG... do some dungeons and some quests and thats it, or buy them through pvp without having to do over 100 wins just to get 1 hongmoon. balance the pvp instead

Even if they do get them earlier than others does it really matter in the long run?

 

1. If they were going to get plat+ they probably would without them too. If they are reliant on having them when no one else does they wont stay there for long.

2. Aren't seasons only going to be like a month long so who cares?

lol only the try hards with no life, job , anything would farm it and get it 1st, then again rng is unpredictable so someone who doesn't even know what "hongmoon abilties" are (which would be uber rare) could get a drop 1st run. but really HM abilities wouldn't ruin pvp at all. so.

If NCwest handle it like they should be , it wont be a problem. There will be seasons just like in Diablo3 with ladder resets. Now I don't know how often they will decide to reset it. However, you need to understand that there needs to be a goal eventually. Whats the point of having a background like BnS where they put a lot of emphasize on being a true martial artist if literally everything is already handed. Take hongmoon level as a very small gearing system where you take the time to practice until you unleash your true power. For the skills themselves, you need to realize that you will most probably only be able to go for 2 skills pvp wise as most classes wants points on other abilities as well. It wont be hard to get a particular skill that's actually viable. It will at least give a purpose to the gold that's piling up which I;m sure many of us has well in the 200g by now.

 

There are many many ways to acquire each hongmoon skills. Some of them are drops, some require you to do something special. They are like acheivements. If it become a real problem, they could limit hongmoon level between participant but this game has been out for years in Korea already. Their competitive scene don't seem to suffer. Different strat makes better gameplay. You just need to make a bit of effort to get to that. I'm exhited about the endgame having a purpose and... MORE SKILL POINTS!!!

 

EDIT : Keep in mind the market place is cross server. There is absolutely no way you will be blocked from having a certain hongmoon skill because your server isn't populated enough or can't achieve it. Sure NCwest could try to jinx all RNG but considering it's tied to pvp and it's an esport, I don't believe they will dare.
