How does the Masked Hero even work?

I am talking about the first boss in Theater , this boss's mech makes absolutely 0 sense to me.

 

Please let me explain.

 

Me Tank, going into the first black field during the phase, the marker comes to me and i tab.

 

we both SS to the next field where the second person uses Tab, then we all jump to the third field, good so far.

 

Third person uses Tab and everyone jumps to the next field, i die inside the fourth field for no reason what so ever.

 

Or my SS won't reset and i can't jump to the next field at all.

 

This Boss mech is totally jank and only seems to work randomly.

if i am not mistaking you might be positioned incorrectly and thats why you dont get the reset o.o

It worked for me everytime unless someone messed up.
