Sacred Oil Transmute? (Demon spirit stone set to expire)

Sacred Oil transmute contains the demon spirit stone, which will be marked for future expiration on the Pants of Darkness patch feb 6th based on the patch notes for the update.

 

What can we expect in the future in regards to the sacred oil transmute of which the demon spirit stone was a required item? Something as simple as a the DSS being taken out of the recipe and otherwise unchanged, or something as complex as the sacred oil item itself being overhauled?

They will very likely not tell you now because that might break the market if they decide to replace the item. Most likely it will be another cost balancing with the crystals.
