swpz
So it rather strikes me as odd that souls are not account bound given that (non sealed) sacred oils are account bound and people farm them on alts anyways during events. What's the point of keeping the souls character bound while having oils be transferable? On another note, seem to recall seraph and baleful were usable as skins prior to this patch, what happened and why the export lock on them? Wiri
@swpz Soul belong to equipment and none of them bound to account after upgraded (or some after bought). If its bound to account, then soon people will ask for accessories bound to account which mean all of your alt most likely become main now. The only left is weapon which can be easily upgrade in current patch tbh. Not really a good practice its seem
Pyrocyborg
Because players would simply transfer their Soul on their alts, like they currently do with their high level gems (if they have any). It we could move it freely between characters, it would make increasing Soul on alts almost non-existant, which means people would spend less while rerolling on an alt, which NC West obviously do not want. It's way less "problematic" to allow players to mail their Sacred Oils (which are a one time use item anyway) from their alts to their main than to allow them to freely mail their Soul whenever they want. A lot of players actually paid money to get a high level soul on their Gunslinger. As Soul probably is the hardest item to level, there is no way NC West would pass on this opportunity. ;) I'm not a fan of the fact that we cannot move our items between our characters, but that's the way it is.
