salvage weapon *skins and gems*

Regarding tomorrow's patch....

will i need to remove the skins and the gems prior to the salvaging?

or are they retained on salvage?

Because of this, i think (correct me, if im wrog...)  you will get your skin also after salvaging tomorrow.

You cannot salvage a weapon without taking the gems from the weapon out,

whatever you posted says nothing about the skins. i just asked if i need to remove them or not ( the gems AND the skin).

i would prefer to know from the devs as an official answer.

So my alt is lvl 49 atm ,opened in all of my alts all possible slots for gems ,yet they are not totally lvld up (or the ones that are aren't to True Scorpio) .I have to assume i will loose all the gem slots now?

Be always safe than sorry, remove everything from weapon first ( gems, skin ) before decomposing it on or afte the 8th.
