Golden seed event should end on Wednesday during maintenance unless they decided to prolong it 3 more weeks. As for the time on the seeds it only tells until when you can use them, not until when you can get them.

You will no longer be able to obtain the seeds after the maintenance this Wednesday 12/7. So be sure to get all you can before then!
