Max number of an item

Ok what I want to know is, what is that max number of a single item, like how many healing tonics can we have? Things like that. I know it is over 100 but what is the stopping point, 1000? 

Just want to know haha I know most games stop at 100 but every game is different ^-^

I would say 1000, because:

 

i have 564 Naryu Coins, 670 Healing tonics and so on.

 

After i got 1000 fusion powder, new powder were stapled in another place.

So far from what i saw the stacks for everything are limited to 1000

 

since in the sotrage and inventory i have items that break at 1000 mark.

the cap is actually item-specific. So far I have seen no cap beyond 1000, but a few lower ones. Examples:

 

- Unsealed weapons and soul sields will not stack.

- Petnip stack caps at 100

 

Would be interesting if other people could post when they run into other unusual caps.

On this part:

 

Unsealed weapons and soulshields will never stack. for the items to stack they have to be identical. Weapons can have different sockets and soulshields different stats,.
