What can u buy from suspicious merchant?

Just saw channel announcement about suspicious merchant appears in grand harvest square..( i dont do daily on grand hs much) just curious what does it sell....

It's not an actual merchant you can buy things from, it's just part of the Grand Harvest Square event battle.

the event happens at 8pm, 11pm and 2am EST. 

 

i would recommend avoiding channel one, its always a cluster*cricket* and its impossible to get credit for all the quests. 

 

all you need to do is be in grand harvest square when it begins and its an easy 2+ gold for the dailies.

Well depends on server/time, nowadays ch1 is often the only one that even has people.

on mushin its always a bum rush in channel one, with 60% of the people not getting credit and moving on to 2 and so on until they do. i skip the fighting for cred BS and just start in 2 by the time they dont get credit and start pouring into the other channels to finish their quests, im pretty much done with the 1st too and am just waiting on the final boss lol

The suspicious merchant doesn't sell anything, he just stands there, has absolutely terrible voice acting and keeps repeating the same annoying phrases over and over again (doesn't match the subtitle ofc...it has to be completely diffrent) ... until he finally transforms into a desperado insect mob. (or let's say he despawns and the insect spawns)

How are these insects able to transform into humans? The game doesn't explain that and overall the event is just a careless assemblage of mobs that pop up on the square to "raid" it. And ofc the good old "terror" asset had to be used once again to embody the guard captains.
