Items "Cash value"

When no one bids on an item what exactly is its cash value? Is it its current marketplace price? is it some set price? What about untradeable items?

What you'd get selling the item to a vendor, so between 1-5 copper.

If there wouldn't be a retarded daily market limit we could sell more small items that are maybe worth a few silver. But since we are so limited, a lot of stuff goes to waste. Items that nobody wants to bid on are one example. If you start to bid on all the small things, you would get more items per day than you can sell.

reason for everything being 1 copper is because if you could make silver out of certain items, the economy would be a bit more expensive and bots would have more ways to ruin it because they would grind the spots that generate most items completely dry. at 45 cap, most of your gold comes from doing your dailys, which feed you gold and help you obtain better gear as you do them as well
