Warlock's pet - which sounds better???

Those two have entirely separate connotations:

A wraith is an independent entity, perhaps bound by contract.

A thrall is enslaved and therefore has little to no self-determination.

Essentially, those are not interchangeable terms.

Yeah but the Wraith has a bracelet with shackles, therefore the Warlock enslaved it to do his bidding... and Wraith sounds cooler!

Why using a logic for a fantasy game? it's all unreal at the end!

That's not applying logic into a fantasy game, that's just being pedantic about naming conventions / proper usage of words.  Define #0000FF for me.  Though technically, being a "warlock" would exclude all females from the class.

Maybe the wraith just likes the bracelet and shackles look.  Don't judge him.  You wouldn't call a lady a slut just because she's wearing a short skirt and revealing blouse would you?
