Story quests are mostly that. There are some "interesting" side quests where you do things like cook and such, but nothing crazy dynamic. Still, the side quests are an interesting way to mix it up a bit.

This dramatically changes in later levels:

- either stand in bad or pull to reset

go to next boss

- either stand in bad or pull to reset

- either stand in bad or pull to reset

repeat

 

At least that is what a large portion of the player base thinks they have to do.

When you get to blackram supply and other lv45 dunge it finally looks like you have to learn your PvE strategies a bit.

There was a side quest chain in some kiln village where you broke pottery XD Then you had to make it.

Don't forget how exciting it was to get yelled at for breaking them then 10 mins later have the same guy tell you to break some more. And of course you do it like a good little idiot.

The biggest part of this game is the combat. You really have to play until chapter 17 when you can open up your talents. That's where its getting good. I am playing a kfm.

Side quests and even story quests later on will change sometimes. There's a side quest where you have to dig through pig poop and part of the main story at one point wants you to go through the floor of an outhouse and sadly walk through human poop. The kill this that etc routine though is standard for many MMOs so that shouldn't be surprising. The combat is what keeps people playing.

Kill and gather are standard quest on this kind of game. Some quest only require you to talk to several people. The achievement is more fun to do, since it require you to do more than gather and kill.
