hey guys, does changing outfit benefit you? are there outfits with stats or should i keep one and sell others so i can free up some space in inventory?

as far as I know they are purely cosmetical

Not using an outfit will drop your HP a bit.

no not to my knowledge ..

 some outfits are faction so are for one side or the other but otherwise just appearance

there are no benefits to outfits other than:

faction uniforms making you hostile to opposite factions and enabling you to farm hostile faction npc bosses for tokens to buy other stuff and be attackable by players of the opposing faction.

 

cash shop costumes that salvage into cloth for a chance to craft more exclusive transmutation costumes (with a chance to fail and not give you anything)

 

but as rym points out, you should wear "a" costume, since your soul shield will not work if you do not wear one at all.
