  1. Delete this game, it would be faster. *facepalm*
  2. I find their statement ironic : Convenience at this point, became gear and power itself due to the "poor" development the game received. However, creating a bigger gap between casuals and cashers didn't only came from the different ways they found to milk the players, it also came from said poor development : would RNGboxes/Trove be so bad if there wasn't all this ridiculous amount of different items to upgrade ? The game has been grindy enough with the amount of dungeons + how many items we had back then. (it was fine before gloves) It has been so bad that most of the people rather log into BnS considering it as a "chore" rather than a game because it literally barely offers anything nowadays in terms of contents. Convenience here should mean people would pay to get extra materials, however they've betrayed their own words when they started handing out Dyad gems from RNGboxes. Getting a lot of gem powder/fragments would have been alright, you pay for something it's only normal you end up getting more than the people that does not pay but no they straight up gave the top-tier item, it literally skipped progress at this point and that's where the limit broke. Weapon mats got the same fate, it seems better to skip raids rather than making them "pug"-able which I find this pretty stupid, it literally break the reason to play the actual game. No contents, especially raids, should be "irrelevant". If you dig deeper, yes. Explained above : blablabla bad development, blablabla players, chore, not a game anymore -> only thing they want is to get rid of things fast enough so they don't waste much more time into Blade and Soul. You could ask them why don't they quit but the answers should be obvious. Also all these "dungeon nerfs".. let's be very honest, it's a joke going both ways for NC Soft : - first, the dungeons became so braindead that any players could clear them.. - ... leading to the second -> what do you think they need to clear them without bothering themselves into learning the game ? Extra gear. (thus the 1.8k+ for ridiculous dungeons where it's literally almost impossible to wipe) It's like endlessly spamming reverse cards in UNO at this point lol.
  3. That kinda leads to the main problem : there's once again no "content". It's nothing about playing/farming the game in a specific way because it's another "unrealistic long-term" upgrade which this game has way too many by now. "Unrealistic" > for the reasons that has been said already on this thread : a set of 8 maxed psyches will take longer to acquire than getting the new higher soul shield set coming from newer raids. "Long-term" > because of the fact that's your typical : It's "only" 80 boss AP, it doesn't make much of a difference because it's over-the-top anyway. While it's true, there's another reverse effect that also makes it some kind of future "requirement" by the community so themselves will be "forced" to obtain a set of psyche'd soul shields either way. You might think it's the comunity's fault in some way, but in any ways I've spoken my mind on reddit about it recently that the playerbase is kinda "forced mentally" to follow this kind of path as the only playable and relevant contents is only the "endgame" ones, which makes people having to 'compete' for the 'best' PvE gear in every ways imaginable. You don't need max anything at all to clear ET but people ends up wondering about it when they get a group of people that clears it in a certain amount of time, which makes people looking up to this said group and be like "I wish I could clear this as fast as them as well". (or any kind of "idol" thoughts) This might have not happen if the devs would actually keep the contents relevant instead of pushing it further into the trashcan, it's like they don't even respect their own work to begin with which is quite sad. We have probably 15+ heroic dungeons and only 4 of them are still relevant, only these 4 of them can be played in hard mode. The rest is non-existant, which mean non attractive so people skip those and play the top ones, and what do they need to join these top dungeons ? This kind of gear. It's a vicious circle.
  4. Doesn't really matter as this is flawed from day 1. As Walex said, raids are being released regularly and by the time you get to have all the scales needed to upgrade your whole set, it's most likely NC would have released two other raids by then. I fail to see the logic here aside from inciting players to spend a few bucks on Trove/etc to get extra Koldrak scales. This is, yet, another "useless" content which just make the game even more ridiculous by how much different ways you have to upgrade your gear. Meanwhile, there's a few ideas requiring more or less the same efforts that would actually make the game more alive and have more variety of contents/options such as hard modes for every dungeons (at least starting from Avalanche Den + up to the average gear of players), just an example out of many. It's also one's right to spend their scales on something else like extra XP charms or even Grand Celestial wings for all they'd care. There's not much of a legitimate reason as to why anyone should have saved their scales, as far as I know people are free to spend their currencies like they're pleased to. (or also the fact Koldrak is simply far from enjoyable for most of the people : higher latency problems, very gimmicky fight, ...) Players complaining or not, as I said above, the psyches doesn't make sense for the simple reason that a set of soul shield gets "irrelevant" quite fast nowadays.
  5. I don't remember a lot of technical bugs back then aside from the freaking F2 bugging almost every major update. (exaggeration but you get my point, F2 bugged out so many times I've lost count) Either it was "controversial" changes (losing gold rewards, blablabla) or it was a few fiascos (radiant energies) but nothing as horrible as the last 3 patches. My conclusion is that either their "server" is a little something where you gather a dozen of players at best. (enough for the whole 'team' to test out the content sent off from KR) or that indeed, there's nothing at all. Knowing that their client is different from ours when they do livestream new updates, I'm for the first answer. Besides I doubt NC West can spend extra few money on making a test server big enough for the current playerbase anyway. Some QA dedication would be welcome tho, one of the person that has to try out new stuff is supposed to also take care of yet another game from NC (Aion), that sounds like not-so-fun extra work for him. Hell players could do that sht for free if it means having a better managed game at this point lol...
  6. Wasn't this "Frontier" server only a place to test out UE4 ? That the whole "classic" thing was just mistranslations from different people ? Also if you mean you just want test servers, pretty sure we already have some but they're just not open to public, which is sad seeing how last 2-3 patches made a shtshow of this game. It would definitely need some people at this rate.
  7. Adjustments =/= reductions. Don't feel surprised that you have to pay slightly higher for certain stages after the patch, they're balancing out the progressive cost of the Talisman meaning it just follows a certain new way of upgrading. (thus why you have t.stones everywhere, which will make some lower stages more expensive than before but some higher stages cheaper, don't ask me why) And before people QQ's at me that doesn't mean I agree with this. To be fair this item is half a mistake anyway, manually triggering it is a good concept but the stats are, once again, something not needed/over the top. Not sure why it's still too hard for NC Soft to make this game and its whole upgrading/gear system viable enough without having to spend 10 years nor 1 week to max your gear out.
  8. I forgot about this too. lol Psyches, pet gems, this ancient weapon thing.. another bunch of mistakes.
  9. ^This is the only person being reasonable in this thread. I recently made a post on reddit (a week ago or so) about my fair statement on this game and without people knowing (at least they don't seem to know) that the issue isn't really pay2win boxes, etc (as in themselves) but mostly because this game got over the top in terms of the amount of upgrades and drown us with tons of "useless" items that just led to this game's downfall faster than Usian Bolt running a 100m. Pet and soul were enough. Heart is an unnecessary upgrade, awakened badges threw off critical damage off the charts, Talisman just make characters having ridiculous amount of HP such as like 600k or so. (do you believe in KR they have like 500k HP in PVE ?! No no not PvP, I did say PvE) Without these not only the lambda player would feel comfortable at catching up players/veterans, but the game balance as well wouldn't be so bad to the point of seeing bosses like the new KR raid having an absolutely hilarious amount of HP such as 54 BILLIONS. Worst of the worst is probably the Unity system stones.. this was another big stab in the back. The gap between legendaries and heroics is astonishing.. and this is yet another boost of stats that's not even needed in the first place.
