is it ok to throw away all brilliant stone chests ?

i have lots of "blue background" ascension stones and radiance stones, everytime i refined 8 of them, i get always a useless one. not that know  what refine means here but, i am trying to learn what it is or what it does, is it ok to throw away all brilliant stone chests to save inventory slots and do i need to just get purple background sparkling stone chests?

Keep refining them, the chance is just rather low to get a purple. Welcome to bns rng.

you can move them into the ctrl+H window to save inventory space, keep refining em for purple, purple to yellow chances aren't as bad as blue to purple tho
