He's simply saying that this is the 5th event in a row that asks you to complete the daily challenge to get event tokens. If you add up the last 5 events, I guess the sum is around 5 months of doing daily challenge. Not that you needed to do it every day to get last event pet, but that's beside his point I guess.

You should do the daily challenge to get some materials as well, not just because the event, i don't mind at all on doing dc in 6 characters, there's people that do it on 10.. Helps in materials.
