Bns fps drop from 80 to 20 when unplugged

Hi,

lately ive been getting only 20fps as soon as i unplug the charger from my laptop and i have no idea how to fix it. Normally i would just take out the battery but this time its built in so i cant. 

Has anyone else encountered this before? I have tried changing my power plan but sadly it didnt work

I believe the issue is your power / performance settings.

 

Basically when plugged in the laptop has a constant power source so the performance is always max. When you unplug it it goes into a say "power conserve" mode which means it limits the performance for better battery life. you can change all this in the power options / performance settings
