Kozuki
Before, we can learn Volume 4 Technique through a quest chain that involved some old lv45 and lv50 content. The Hongmoon book that begins the content can be obtained from: -Achievement Vendor for 70 Silver Naryu coins, if you have 1,250 Achievement Points. Character-bound. -Cold Storage for 120 Freezing Orbs. Orbs are account-bound, so the book can be counted as account-bound too. -Bloodshade books. These books are F5-able and from lv45 Bloodshade Harbor. The various sources of the book make it pretty cheap, or just some mailing fee with some efforts to collect Freezing Orbs for alts. Then suddenly, NCSoft decided to remove the whole quest chain and all related sources. Instead, they make Volume 4 Technique and make it drop in Naryu Foundry. The book drops from NF can be either bound-to-account or F5-able. This makes that even NF is a popular dungeon that people run a lot, the books on F5 itself is still costly to buy. Players suddenly lose a free way to access the HM versions of their skills, hurting their fund which they can be used on other already-too-expensive HM books. Therefore, I suggest just return the Bloodshade book quest chain, together with its availability from Achievement Vendor and Cold Storage. It may sound tedious to do the Bloodshade Hongmoon book quest chain. However, at the current gear, everyone who invests some efforts in their gear would easily clear all required dungeons, solo or party. It also allows new players to visit at least once the now-abandoned dungeons.
JoannaRamira
Ye, the last time i see the price for Vol 4. It's 974G in EU server and about 500 in NA. My EU Des is cash strapped :x and Vol 4 is Emberstomp which Des cannot live without.. would love to see Momo's suggestion OR increase drop rate in Foundry.
