Future new PC

Hi there,

in the near future I would buy a new gaming laptop. The thing is that I have heared that laptops arent rendeting the unblockable boss AoE (Those that you must iframe) like in my current old laptop. I dont know if that just my crappy old laptop (its not a gaming laptop, all graphic options are on low and get like 20~ fps) or its laptops in general. If anyone play on a gaming laptop please tell me if its worth it I will leave a link to the laptop I'd like to get.

Intel i7 7700HQ

16 GB DDR4 RAM

Nvidia 1050ti 4GB GDDR

250 GB Sata 3 ssd + 5400 rpm HDD

Basically a pretty overkill gaming laptop for this spesifc game.

Are you wanting to play other games as well? The xx50 series are cards more geared towards entry level gaming, so any games that are GPU intensive you will unlikely be able to play at high/max settings. The CPU is fine and that is what is needed the most for BnS. 

 

For the same price you can get a slightly better GPU.

not so much tbh. BnS is my main game aside for work stuff. Plus the 1050 TI which reportdly should preform better than 1060 3 GB. My main resone for this post is if the the red ublockable aoe attacks are rendered in laptops or not. my currecnt old laptop doesnt render it so it very hard to play. I've heared its not avaibale with laptop users for some resone that why I ask here before buying in the future.

Yep, the 1050ti performs slightly better/same as a 3gb 1060 on most 3d applications. Now, the 6gb version would be a huge upgrade but it's also 150/200 bucks more so...

If you can get the gl502vm for under 1300 go for it, otherwise stick with the 1050 version, which is still plenty decent.

It definitely does not beat a 1060.

Your old laptop was the reason that some AoE attacks didn't render. Or maybe your ping was high to the point that the attacks didn't register for you.

I played blade and soul on razer blade and everything was just fine,  But let me tell you that a desktop is always better. Your laptop will get old after few years and some games may require better specs, and also a PC is always cheaper than a laptop with the same specs since all the Gaming laptops are made by famous companies.

Well ofc the 6 GB version will crush the 1050 ti in every way plus i am not mistaken you copared the desket versions. The laptop that you linked me is 1060 3 GB. the 6 BG version of that ROG series is extra 200~250+$ more and its out of my budget, and its unavavible where I live.

Thats the answer i was looking for. and I know I could order parts for 800$ ~1000$ and absoulty crush every gaming laptop at 1150$+ range which is around my budget but I am not looking for a desktop PC otherwise I wouldn't have opened that thread at all. my ping is somewhat fair between 80~100 MS which is ok so I dont think its the ping issue. probably an old hardware is the issue. its even worse no the attack bar is out aswel.
