I've been wanting to get Searing Slash but I'm not a pvp kind of player so I guess it's locked to pvp as the only way to get it?
Also the tribute tokens, I guess pvp is the only way for those too :<

It's only 5000 zen beans, it shouldn't take long to get it considering Fire BM is OP if you have low ping. And you can buy Tribute Tokens from the Marketplace (F5).

Its absolutely worth doing some pvp to unlock HM 4 because its also pretty useful in PvE.

And i wouldnt care that much about farming tribute tokens to buy soul badges...i main a HM 11 BM and do as much PvP as i do PvE but till now i was doing totally fine without badges. Since you are not a PvP player i would recommend you to get the badge that gives you 1 focus regen per hit with battojutsu since this badge makes you able to cast this skill forever. All other badges are more something if you are active on the 6v6 Battlegrounds or in Open-World PvP.
