can't update the game

so i spent all of today and last night trying to update the game but i keep on getting the same error E02018

i tried doing all the things that are suggested by ncsoft but no luck and then i tried all the things suggested by forums and the internet but no luck

so i tried to click confirm on the error message and then click update but it started to go backwards so i don't know what the *cricket* is going on

(( and what i mean with it going backwards is it gets to lets say 60 % i get error i click confirm then click update then i get the error at 58% ))

and why in the hell is there no way for us to download the patches manually that will be very convenient and easy o i forget its ncsoft 

please fix this or give us another way to download the patches and updates because this is ridiculous
