Ember Explosion Damage

I think there's a bug with ember explosion damage, and before I open up a ticket I just want to have the community verify my data and maybe enlighten me on how ember explosion mechanics is calculated.

WARNING - Numbers below, you have been warned!

I did this test on the mushin tower green focus recovery dummy in the 2nd floor room where you face junghado. All the values are non crit, I didn't want that extra factor in there.

First I have 17.11% piercing, so I should be doing full damage against the dummy as shown on my skill board. And after doing about 50 hits, all the values are in between the lower and upper range.

Ember explosion description is as follows:

Inflicts 227 - 250 explosion damage per ember stack. Inflicts additional 75% ember damage per ember stack.

So I Interpreted that as follows:

1 ember = 175%

2 embers = 250%

3 embers = 325%

4 embers = 400%

5 embers = 475%

Theoretically then I should be doing the following damage with my ember explosions

1 ember = 397.25 - 437.5

2 embers = 1135 - 1250

3 embers = 2213.25 - 2437.5

4 embers = 3632 - 4000

5 embers = 5391.25 - 5937.5

However when I started wacking the dummy, I recorded the following actual damages (I recorded 5 data points, small, but enough to know that something is wrong)

1 ember = 240, 235, 231, 235, 237

2 embers = 960, 926, 914, 926, 908

3 embers = 1618, 1635, 1640, 1626, 1604

4 embers = 2319, 2308, 2277, 2263, 2236

5 embers = 2976, 3061, 2922, 2989, 2949

The numbers completely does not match. The actual damages are all way too low 5 ember stacks are a whooping 50% too low. Looking at the 1 ember damage, it looks like my listed skill board damage. Then I came up with the following list of modifiers, assuming ember explosion damage mod always increases by 75% (which could be wrong too, but I'm assuming this is right)

1 ember = 100%

2 embers = 175%

3 embers = 250%

4 embers = 250%

5 embers = 250%

Then the theoretical damage should be

1 ember = 227 - 250

2 embers = 794.5 - 875

3 embers = 1702.5 - 1875

4 embers = 2270 - 2500

5 embers = 2837.5 - 3125

Which is now much closer to what I am actually getting, although some damages still don't line up but it's enough to tell me that my original ember stacking mechanics is incorrect. Now the question is, did I misunderstood the description of ember explosion? Or did NCSoft botch up the code?

*note - I tried this on different versions of impact and the auto detonate flame palm. I didn't test inferno because my weapon buffs it by 20%. I didn't have time to test it with another weapon.
